Tuesday night
~Rapunzel and Eugene~
"Eugene! Why were you late to our open house this morning?" Rapunzel exclaimed as she stomped down the basement stairs. They had an open house for the cute, blue Craftsman-style house down the street at 10:00 earlier that morning. Of course, Eugene was fifteen minutes late.
"I was busy." Eugene lied. He really wasn't. He wanted to get back at her for making him late to work yesterday morning. She made him look bad in front of his boss, again.
"You made me look like a fool. It was embarrassing." Rapunzel cried. She had to stand in front of the house assuring the realtor that her husband would be there soon. She could hardly focus on the house when all she could think about was his tardiness.
"Sorry. Anyways, do we want the house?" Eugene asked. He personally didn't mind it. It had three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a basement, an updated kitchen, and a nice living room. Not to mention, it was move in ready so if they took this offer, they could move in instantly.
"I don't know. Can we even afford it?" Rapunzel frowned as she plopped beside him on the couch. She was nervous about being in debt or being rejected. Wouldn't that be a great start to a marriage?
"I was looking over what we get paid each month and we could definitely afford it. But I do have one question for you." Eugene replied. He gets home about an hour earlier than Rapunzel every night so he has time to check out their money issues. It was actually something he was good at.
"What?" Rapunzel smiled nervously. She knew he would be talking about her paycheck. Every month, her credit card takes off around four hundred dollars and she didn't tell Eugene why or where it went. She hasn't even told her parents about her problem. She actually found it embarrassing.
"Where are these four hundred dollars going every month?" Eugene questioned. He watched the brunette walk around the room with her arms crossed across her chest. He sat up, pushing the laptop off his lap, trying to study her. He was a good people reader.
"What four hundred dollars? I'm always bring home all my hard earned cash." Rapunzel lied. She could tell she wasn't convincing enough. He sent her a glare, assuring her that her answer screamed fake. She gave a small chuckle, gently folding her hands.
"Rapunzel, I'm not stupid. I know when we're not getting what we earned and we aren't getting four hundred dollars. Where is it going?" Eugene interrogated. He was confused at why she was hiding this from him. After all, she was the one who suggested getting a house.
"I can't tell you." Rapunzel mumbled. How could she tell Eugene her secret when she hasn't even told her trusted parents? This was a big, make that huge deal.
"Rapunzel, we're married. We have to tell each other everything, especially when it involves money, which we are kind of low on right now." Eugene reasoned. She scoffed and sent him a small glare. And he was one to talk. Last night he won't spill anything to her.
"That's not how you acted last night." Rapunzel argued. She couldn't believe he was pulling that on her. That wasn't fair. She crossed her arms, upset with him.
"That's not the same." Eugene fired back. Rapunzel frowned, knowing he was right, it wasn't the same. She dragged her toe on the floor, trying to decide whether to trust him or not. She sighed, giving in to him. She wanted to him to see that she trusted him so he should trust her.
"Fine. I'll tell you, just don't tell anyone." Rapunzel compromised. Eugene nodded his head, showing he understood. She raised her eyebrow, looking him over. She didn't want him to go and blab to the whole town. That would use be a nightmare.
"Deal. Now spill." Eugene demanded. Rapunzel sighed. She hoped he wouldn't agree. Now she had to give her embarrassing story.
"Promise not to judge me?" Rapunzel frowned. What could be so bad? Eugene thought. He was alway thought she was a good, innocent girl. What could she have done? He could tell that she was nervous.
"I promise." Eugene agreed, meaning it. He had done things in the past that he wished people wouldn't judge. It was the least he could do. She sat beside him, giving him a small glance. She looked back out the window and brushed her brown strands behind her little ears.
"Okay, well about a month before signing up for this tv show my then boyfriend and I bought an apartment. It was the perfect place for us. It was a great spot for both our jobs and was for a great price. Well, it turns out that we weren't met to be. He broke up with me about two weeks before I volunteered for the show." She explained, trying not to look at Eugene. The thought of her boyfriend made her want to cry. She had told him everything. She spilled her heart and soul out for him.
"He changed our locks and sent me a text telling me we just didn't click. And since I made the most money each month, it was only logical to sign my credit card on the papers. I texted him, asking to change the credit card numbers and he refused. That's why I'm still living....That's why we're in....." Rapunzel couldn't finish. She felt horrible and stupid. She could feel a lump forming in her throat.
"We're in your parents' basement," Eugene slowly finished. She looked at him with tears in her eyes. He felt sorry for her. She was love struck and didn't see that all he wanted from her was her money. "And your still going to let him do this?" Eugene asked.
"No. Yes. Ugg. It's complicated." Rapunzel cried as she put her face into her hands. She felt embarrassed. She shouldn't have poured out her secret to this stranger. This was stupid. She could feel the tears beginning to brim her eyes.
"Do your parents know?" Eugene softly spoke. Rapunzel shook her head, letting out a large sigh. This was a bad idea. Now someone she just meant knew something even her own parents didn't know.
"No. I couldn't tell anyone. I just feel so stupid and embarrassed, ya know? Who makes that kind of mistake? Only an idiot like me." Rapunzel mumbled, putting herself down. She felt like she made the worst mistake in the history of the world.
"So you've been paying his rent for six months?" Eugene repeated as he scouted closer to her. He felt like she needed comforting but he didn't know how. He wasn't one for touchy-feely situations.
"Yeah, and I don't know how to stop. I called the credit card agency and they said there was nothing they could do." Rapunzel replied. She really did try everything she could think of. There was no way around it so she just payed the rent.
"What was his name?" Eugene questioned. He felt like someone need to teach this guy a lesson. Rapunzel raised her eyebrow, looking him in the eyes, confused. Her eyes were red and puffy from keeps her emotions in."Just curious." He lied, making up an excuse.
"Eugene, it's not that important. I've been making it along without the money. And now we'll have your money too so it's really not a big deal." Rapunzel reasoned. She didn't want Eugene to know about her ex-boyfriend. He was just a little low on cash. That's why he won't change the numbers. Rapunzel thought, though she knew it wasn't true.
"What do you mean it's not important? This guy is basically stealing from you! I'm going to go teach him a lesson. Now tell me where he lives and what his name is." Eugene demanded. Rapunzel realized that there was no way she could stop him. He was too stubborn. He walked away from the couch, grabbing his keys.
"Jason." Rapunzel sighed. She's always thought of him as a nice guy. He never hurt her physically or mentally. He just liked money, a lot. Jason was everything she ever wanted and yet he shut her out.
"Where did you buy this apartment?" Eugene asked as they walked upstairs. Rapunzel's parents were still at work, so they were at the house alone. Their voices echoed off the walls.
"Look, if you're going to teach Jason a lesson-" Rapunzel started, trying to make sure she knew what he was doing. She was close on his tail, trying to follow.
"I am." Eugene stated, cutting her off. He couldn't let this guy get away with stealing her money. He just couldn't believe she didn't do anything about it. She seemed like a strong, independent woman.
"-Then I'm coming with you." Rapunzel finished. She didn't feel like she should be left out. It was her problem, not Eugene's. And if the fight got out of hand, she could step in and stop it.
"Fine, but we're riding on my motorcycle." Eugene smirked. He wanted to see Rapunzel beat Jason up. He didn't know this guy, but he wanted to make him pay. He sounded like a stupid business major anyway.
They rode down the highway, Rapunzel wearing Eugene's helmet. She screamed every time Eugene made a sharp turn. She was terrified to be riding in the back of a motorcycle. She wanted to be driving her little blue car. Soon, they pulled into the apartment parking lot. Eugene peeled into a close spot and parked his motorcycle. He placed his helmet on the seat and walked into the building with Rapunzel close behind. "What room?" Eugene demanded. Rapunzel was surprised at his sudden protectiveness of her.
"Second floor. Room 245." Rapunzel replied, trying to keep up with him. She was terrified of seeing Jason again. They got into the elevator and rode it to the second floor. Her heart was beating loudly in her ears. They walked up to the room, her palms becoming clammy. Eugene watched her nervously lick her lips. Rapunzel was about to knock when Eugene stopped her.
"No. I'm breaking in." Eugene grumbled as he pulled out a bobby pin. So that's how you broke into the bathroom. Rapunzel thought. He fumbled with it, bending it to fit in the key hole.
"What? No. Ever heard of invasion of privacy? You could get arrested! Are you insane?" Rapunzel exclaimed, forgetting about the bathroom. Her 'husband' was breaking into someone apartment!
"Yes." Eugene wickedly smiled he twisted the lock and opened the door. Eugene walked in like he owned the place. I mean, he technically did. Rapunzel payed the rent, but that wasn't the point.
"Can I help you?' Jason asked from the kitchen. The apartment was a mess. Dirty clothes laying everywhere. Beer cans from former parties laid on the counters. Rapunzel could even see a plate of old food growing mold on the coffee table in the living room. Not to mention, it smelt like something died in there. Rapunzel stood in the doorway, watching Eugene as he walked towards Jason.
"Actually you can." Eugene grinned as he cracked his knuckles. He couldn't wait for his fist to connect with Jason's face. Eugene punched Jason as hard as he could. It felt great. Eugene couldn't remember the last time his first connected with someone's nose.
"What the hell?" Jason cried as he held onto his nose, leaning over. He couldn't understand what this idiot wanted. He must have drunk and broke through his door. Blood began to drip onto the floor.
"That's for being a jerk." Eugene explained. Jason raised his eyebrow, confused. Immediately, Eugene kicked him in his stomach. "And that's for stealing from my wife." Eugene hissed.
"I don't even know who you or wife are!" Jason exclaimed. Who was this psychopath? He was frightened, wondering what he could have ever done to them.
"Then let me introduce myself. Hi, I'm Eugene, Rapunzel's husband. We would really like our money back." Eugene greeted in an overly optimistic voice. Rapunzel was surprised that he introduced himself as her husband.
"What? No!" Jason refused. That's when Rapunzel had enough. She stomped towards them. Eugene thought she was going to end the fight. "Rapunzel, baby, you're not seriously married to this jerk, right?" Jason scoffed, holding onto his nose.. Rapunzel stayed silent, showing him that she wasn't going to talk to him and that Eugene was her husband.
"I see. Well, the Rapunzel I know and love wouldn't marry someone like him. She would marry a nice, sweet guy like me, who would care for you and make you feel loved." Jason explained as he grabbed her chin, pulling it so she could look at him. Rapunzel twisted her head away, not wanting for fall for his evil trick again. His blue eyes always reeled her back into his dirty hands. Not today, not ever again.
Eugene hoped she wouldn't fall for the sick mind games he was playing her. She wouldn't marry a guy like Eugene, but a guy like Jason didn't deserve her. Rapunzel kept her ground by staying silent. "You know what, fine. Don't talk to me then. Talk to your 'husband.' Tell him to calm down and that I'm not stealing from you." Jason commanded. Rapunzel looked him over and felt disgusted. What did she see in Jason six months ago? Rapunzel gave an angry sigh and punched him hard in the face.
"I want my money back in two weeks. You owe me $2,400." Rapunzel replied through gritted teeth. She shook her out her hand, trying to make the slight pain go away. Eugene smiled, surprised at Rapunzel. He always thought of her as the good girl who wouldn't hurt a fly. Rapunzel walked back towards the door with her head held high.
"See you in two weeks." Eugene smiled as he waved goodbye, pretending like they were close friends. Eugene slammed the door shut and followed Rapunzel downstairs as he pretended to wipe the dust off his hands.
~Anna and Kristoff~
"Look Elsa, you need to be nice to him. I know he isn't your ideal man but they paired you two together for a reason. It will take some time." Anna comforted as she talked with Elsa on the phone. Anna held her warm coffee in her hands. Elsa had been ranting about Jack all day. She knew Elsa was nervous and unhappy with her pair, but she chose to marry him.
"I know. Well, thanks for the encouragement. See you tomorrow, Anna." Elsa replied. She could hear Anna yawning in the background. Anna was always tired.
"See ya. Goodbye, Elsa."
"Goodbye." Anna heard as she ended the call. She had been talking to Elsa since she got home from work. Kristoff still wasn't home and Anna was starting to worry. She sat on the couch petting her cat. Sven slept in corner, waiting for his loyal master to come home. "Sven." Anna said, waking him up. "When will Kristoff come home?" Anna asked. Sven whined and came to sit by her. They all stared at the clock, waiting for it to turn eight. It's ticking started to get on her nerves. Anna started getting stressed as it turned a quarter to eight. She decided to waste some time making dinner. The only problem was that she didn't know what Kristoff liked. So she debated about it and picked spaghetti.
"Okay everybody listen up! We took a vote yesterday and we have the results." One of Kristoff's manger yelled into the room full of construction workers with bright green vests on. They had been waiting all day to find out the results and they were finally announcing them ten minutes past closing time.
"What are they?" A random guy yelled from back. He was just as impatient as the rest of them. Kristoff groaned and ran his hand through his hair. If he would just stay quiet, they would answer faster.
"We are building the addition," The manger frowned. Tons of people grumbled about how it was wrong to take this job. "Now I know it's in different city but this is a good deal. It can give us great publicity!" His manger cheered. Kristoff knew he should be excited about this job, but he wasn't. He was nervous about Anna. He told her he was usually home around 7:30. And it was already 8:12. He was freaking out. He didn't want his tiny wife to full of stress.
Anna finished making dinner and looked towards the clock. 8:37. What was taking him so long? Was he in danger? Anna was eating her dinner, freaking out about her husband. Suddenly Kristoff burst through the door, stomping the mud off his shoes. Sven happily barked as he tackled Kristoff. Anna ran up to him and slapped him on the shoulder. "Ow. What was that for?" Kristoff smiled.
"That's for giving me a heart attack!" Anna cried. She was happy he was home, but her first emotion was to angrily slap him. After all, he kind of deserved it.
"Smells good. What did you make?" Kristoff questioned as he took a deep breath. Anna softly giggled and pushed her hair behind her ear.
"I made spaghetti, but I ate most of it." Anna blushed. They walked to the table and saw most of it gone. The pot had about a scoop left of noddles. The table was nicely set though.
"How did you eat all that?" Kristoff awed. He was impressed that a small woman like her could eat so much. A whole pot of spaghetti for one person. She definitely had an appetite.
"Stress eating. Because of you," Anna blamed, receiving a chuckle from Kristoff. "So, you were you so late?" Anna asked. She felt awkward asking such a personal question but after all, he was her husband. She deserved to know.
"You know how we took that vote yesterday?" Kristoff asked after he slurped a noodle. Anna nodded and leaned over the table. She didn't care how he ate. He could eat with utensils and she'd be alright with it.
"Yeah." Anna replied. They were taking a vote about her sister's company's pending addition, but she didn't tell Kristoff that. She didn't want to pressure him into something he didn't want. She would tell him eventually.
"Well they told us the results. We're doing the addition." Kristoff smiled, he personally wanted to do it. He felt like the fashion company deserved it after all they worked for.
"Really?" Anna asked, trying to hid her excitement and failing horribly. Her questioned sounded more like a squeal, making Kristoff back up.
"Yeah. Why did you want us to do this project so much?" Kristoff smirked. Anna quickly fixed posture, acting like she didn't just freak out.
"Umm no reason." Anna lied. She rocked on her heels, giving off obvious signs that she was lying, Kristoff narrowed his eyes, making her blush.
"Liar. There's obviously a reason." Kristoff chuckled. She sighed and took a seat beside him.
"Fine, it's my sister's company. They've been planning this project for years!" Anna confessed. She felt happy to finally let her secret loose. Anna hoped her wouldn't freak out, and break things like her last husband.
"That's awesome. I'm glad I voted yes then." Kristoff laughed. Anna's face light up. She arched her eyebrow, making sure he wasn't playing her.
"You voted yes?" Anna asked, she thought Kristoff would be against building an addition in a different city. It was a huge and difficult task. That was a gigantic risk.
"Yeah. I think it would be a good opportunity to get our name out there. Plus, I think it would be kind of fun." Kristoff smiled as he finished off the spaghetti by dishing the last few noodles onto his plate. Anna nodded, agreeing with him. She could see the pros and cons to this mess. At least they were on the same page.
"Oh my gosh! Did I tell you the good news?" Anna exclaimed. Kristoff shook his head no. "Tomorrow night we're going to Burgess for dinner. We're going to meet all the new couples!" Anna cheered.
"If there are any new couples. Who knows, we might be the only ones." Kristoff chuckled. If they were the only ones, that would be a little strange.
"Ya." Anna giggled. Anna knew they weren't the only ones. Her sister, Elsa, got married too. But she didn't want to spoil that surprise either. Anna loved surprised as much as a three year old.
~Merida and Hiccup~
Hiccup had been home since five o'clock. It helped that school was only seven hours a day. Then he had to stay two hours later to make sure everything was ready for the next day and assisted the kids who needed help understanding the lesson. He hasn't heard from Astrid since Monday morning. He knew that this wasn't a good sign. Usually when Astrid ignored him, she was either mad at him or planning something she didn't think he needed to know. Hiccup spent most of his time after school cleaning Merida's apartment.
Merida was counting down the minutes before she could leave work. She didn't really want to go home with Hiccup but she hated work more. It was one duty she couldn't stand. She and Tiana waited and waited for someone to come to the checkout so the time would fly by fast, but luck wasn't on their side. "So Tiana, how's that restaurant of yours coming along?" Merida asked, trying to make conversation so they wouldn't die of boredom.
"I feel like I'm going to get there real soon. I'm working two jobs and helping out wherever I can whenever I can." Tiana smiled. It has always been her dream to own a restaurant, but it's been a long, hard road for her since her family's been going in and out of poverty.
"You're lucky you at least know what you want." Merida grumbled. She never picked out a solid career. She always thought the grocery store would be just a phase, a job so she could get money so she could find her real job.
"I know you'll find a better job than this place." Tiana encouraged. Tiana was always a determined woman. She believed that if you wanted something, you had to go it. It wasn't just going to grow legs and run to you.
"Yes mum. Mum, we're doing just fine. I'll come by later ta show Hiccup Angus. Yes. Goodbye!" Merida said into her phone as she walked into their apartment. Her mother has been calling her nonstop since she got married.
"What did your mom want now?" Hiccup asked. He was getting used to Merida's mother calling her everyday. He was also getting used to hearing Merida's thick Scottish accent when she got annoyed or talked to her parents.
"She wants me ta show you Angus." Merida muttered. Merida bought the lovable dog a few years ago, but her apartment had a strict no animals policy.
"Who's Angus?" Hiccup asked, not looking from his papers. He was sitting at their table grading his students' assignments.
"Ma dog." Merida groaned.
"I have a dog too!" Hiccup laughed. He bought himself a puppy a few weeks ago.
"You do?" Merida asked. She never would have guessed Hiccup to be an animal lover. He looked more like a stay inside type of guy.
"Yeah. His name is Toothless." Hiccup chuckled.
"Toothless. What is with you and the strange names?" Merida teased.
"Some stupid Viking legend about keeping trolls away." Hiccup grumbled. He found it weird that his family still followed the myths from past generations. They were in the twenty-first century. Trolls don't exist!
"We have some crazy myths too." Merida laughed, remembering her family legends she was told as a little girl. Her family moved from Scotland when she was three. It was hard meeting new friends when they couldn't understand you. Not to mention when you had a bad temper and didn't like girly things.
"I bet. So what were you like when you were little?" Hiccup asked. Merida didn't have any pictures of her in her childhood laying around her apartment like Rapunzel.
"I was stubborn. A tomboy. Very daring. And well, brave." Merida smiled as she finally found the right adjective to describe her.
"How were you brave?" Hiccup asked. He became very interested in learning about Merida and for once, she was actually talking to him without threatening to strangle him.
"Hiccup, this isn't a homework assignment!" Merida whined.
"I know. I just want to learn more about you." Hiccup replied. He hoped Merida wouldn't shy away.
"Alright, I'll tell you. Well, it was very hard growing up with a strange accent. I mean, everyone else 'round here talks the same. So I was bullied, but don't worry, they got their revenge. When I was little I wasn't into princesses or fairies. No, I was interested in archery. My father bought me a bow for my fourth birthday. Ever since then, I've been in love with the sport." Merida smiled. She was a good story teller, learning it from her dad.
"Archery. That's a new new one." Hiccup teased, receiving a playfully shove from Merida.
"Anyways, it was show and tell day in third grade. I received the mocking from the boys and girls as I went up to the front of the class. That was the day they learned not to mess with me. As I was explaining how to work my bow, a boy in the back of the class was laughing, saying that I wasn't good enough to shoot an arrow. I looked him straight in the eyes and shoot an arrow right above his head. Of course everyone was freaking, thinking I was going to murder them." Merida snorted, making Hiccup smile. He hadn't seen Merida laugh before. Merida was wiping her eyes from the happy tears threatening to fall out. "So, are you ready to meet Angus?" Merida asked.
"Sure, then we can go meet Toothless." Hiccup chuckled. They hopped into Merida's car and drove to her parents' house. When they pulled into the driveway, the heard loud clattering and laughter. So this is where she grew up. Hiccup thought. They walked into the house with Merida shouting that she was home.
"Merida. Ma wee lass!" Her father, Fergus, greeted as he brought her into a huge bear hug. "And so this is Hiccup. Good ta meet ya lass." Fergus smiled.
"It's great to finally meet you too." Hiccup chuckled.
"Oh Merida. I've missed you so much, dear!" Merida mother, Elinor, greeted as she gently hugged Merida.
"Hi mum. It's good ta see you too." Merida replied.
"Hello Hiccup. Sorry that this house is a mess." Elinor apologized.
"It looks wonderful to me." Hiccup complimented. It was true, with what he heard from outside, he thought it should have been a mess, but it was clean.
"Oh thank you." Elinor blushed. Soon, three boys with hair similar to Merida's ran down the stairs.
"Hey Merida!" They greeted.
"Hello boys." Merida smirked. They left the house and Hiccup heard a car start. "Have da boys been behavin' themselves?" Merida asked.
"Hamish has gotten better. Hubert is still playin' pranks and Harris is never going ta change." Elinor laughed. Suddenly, loud barks came from the kitchen.
"Angus!" Merida laughed as the huge, black dog jumped onto her. Her licked her face, happy to see her again. She stood up, making Angus sit. "Angus, this is Hiccup. He's ma husband." Merida chuckled. Hiccup walked towards the growling dog, not afraid if he would bit. Hiccup gently pet Angus, making him calm. Soon, Merida and Hiccup left to go to his house. When they arrived, everything was quiet.
"I wonder if they're home." Hiccup thought. He unlocked the door and entered. No one was home except Toothless. He was a good guard dog, which Hiccup forgot. As he opened the door, the black dog jumped onto Merida. Barking in her face. Merida froze, not sure whether she should fight back or let him attack her. Immediately, two hands pulled the beast back. "Toothless calm down! She's with me!" Hiccup yelled. The dog sat down, obeying his master. "Good boy." Hiccup congratulated.
"I can see why you call him Toothless." Merida giggled as she saw the dog give her a toothy grin.
"Toothless, this is Merida. She's my wife." Hiccup smiled. Toothless looked her over and suddenly pounced on her. He licked her face as Toothless decided that she was perfect for his master.
~Elsa and Jack~
"Jackson Frost I am done with your silly shenanigans!" Elsa yelled. She was covered in white flour from head to toe.
"What makes you think I did that?" Jack smirked.
"For one, you're the only with a key to my apartment." Elsa listed.
"Ah ah ah. Our apartment." Jack corrected.
"Fine, our apartment. Secondly, you're the only one who has the guts to prank me." Elsa added.
"You know princess, you need some more fun in your life." Jack chuckled.
"I will when you get more responsible." Elsa groaned as she stomped off to her bathroom. It was the same thing over and over again. Everyday she would come home from work or the grocery store and Jack would be ready with a prank as soon as she walked the though the door. Jack laughed as he went to clean up the mess. Elsa came back out and started making dinner.
"What are we having for supper, honey?"Jack asked. He liked calling Elsa typical, cheesy couple nicknames.
"Tater tot hot dish and don't call me honey." Elsa commanded.
"I'll stop calling you honey if you stop calling me Jackson." Jack smirked.
"At least Jackson is you're real name." Elsa groaned.
"Why don't you like my nickname, cutie pie?" Jack teased.
"Because they're cheesy and cliche. They're also lame and we hardly know each other to give out nicknames." Elsa spat.
"I think you just don't want to admit that you like them." Jack smirked. It was true, Elsa secretly like them, but she couldn't tell Jack that. I mean, this marriage isn't supposed to work.
"Yeah. That's what's it is." Elsa grumbled. She was good at lying.
"So, how was work? Did you fire anyone?" Jack smiled.
"No I didn't fire anyone." Elsa rolled her eyes.
"Then what happened today?" Jack asked. Elsa seemed to be thinking it over until her face light up.
"Oh my god! You won't believe it!" Elsa cheered.
"What?" Jack smiled.
"We're finally getting our new addition!" Elsa cheered. She had been praying and hoping that the company would finally take their offer.
"That's wonderful!" Jack smiled.
"I know right, and Jasmine is super excited! How was your day?" Elsa asked. She was actually in a happy mood for once.
"It was okay. Taylor accidentally deleted an important file, which I had to remake." Jack groaned.
"That's sucks." Elsa replied.
"Tell me about it. At least you are the boss, you could have made her do it!" Jack exclaimed.
"Who is your boss?" Elsa asked. Jack never wanted to tell Elsa his boss was his dad. Because if it wasn't, Jack probably wouldn't have a job there. But if he wanted the marriage to work, he need to corporate and tell the truth.
"My dad." Jack chuckled.
"That's nice. Ooo remember that tomorrow we're meeting the other new couples at that fancy restaurant down the street." Elsa reminded. She didn't want to be late for the meal since it was in her town. I mean, that would look a little rude.
"Yeah, I can't wait to meet them. I wonder if they got their perfect match." Jack smiled.
"I hope so." Elsa giggled.
