~Elsa and Jack~
"Look, Jack. I don't think I'm cut out for this." Elsa refused as Jack led her down the sidewalk.
"Come on, Els. What's the worst that could happen?" Jack asked. He was leading her to the brand new amusement park. He somehow talked Elsa into taking the day off and now she was regretting it.
"Let me think. I could fall off the ride because my seatbelt isn't tight enough. The ride could stop when we're at the very top and we're stuck up there. We could-"
"Ah, ah, ah. Don't think negative. Think positive. We'll have a ton of fun. We'll get sore throats from screaming." Jack smiled as they stood in line to buy tickets. Elsa huffed and rolled her blue eyes. She had to get out of this situation.
"Jack, I'm scared of heights." She defended.
"You'll hardly even notice that you're that high in the air." Jack scoffed, waving her off.
"Jack." Elsa glared, crossing her arms over her chest.
"Elsa, please. Let's do something that I want to do." He begged, frowning at her. Okay, she had to admit. They hadn't really done anything he wanted. Since she isn't totally cold hearted, she figured it was his turn.
"Fine. But only because you haven't got to pick anything yet. And nothing that spins or else I'll hurl." She agreed, holding a finger up at him as she listed off her rules.
"Then we should go on the teacups." Jack smirked, his blue eyes meeting her's.
"I'll throw up all over you if you take us there." She threatened, eyeing him.
"Okay! Okay! No teacups. Oooo! But what about that roller coaster?" He asked as he stared at the gloriously high roller coaster that plummeted straight down. Oh, he couldn't wait to feel the wind blow against his face as he was rocked back and forth in a little car high in the air.
"No, no, no! No. You can't make me get on that." Elsa refused, her eyes wide as she stared up at the ride. God, that looked like a death sentence.
"You said you would go on anything that doesn't spin. That does not spin so we're going on it." Jack shrugged as they entered the park, his hand finding hers.
"Why do you always use my words against me?" She groaned as they walked towards the roller coaster of death.
"Because that's how I win our fights." He smiled as he walked faster and faster. Soon, they were in a light jog. They got into the line and saw it was a 45 minute wait time.
"Is this roller coaster really worth 45 minutes of our time?" Elsa asked, hoping she could talk him into getting out of line. She did not want to ride this crazy roller coaster.
"Yes. I heard it's a minute of pure awesomeness." Jack awed. The line moved so slowly that Elsa thought they were in line for an hour and they weren't even halfway there.
"So, Jackson, what's your favorite color?" Elsa asked. If she was going to wait in line forever, she figured they could at least talk. It would help pass the time, right?
"Anything blue. I also don't mind a little white." He answered. He was alright with Elsa calling him Jackson if it made her happy. After all, he thought it was kinda sweet of her.
"I mostly like light blues, but dark blues are okay." She smiled, shrugging her shoulder at him.
"What type of songs do you listen to?" He questioned, trying to keep the conversation going. He really did want to learn more about her.
"I like pop, but I also like listening to classical." Elsa blushed, glancing towards the ground. Classical sounded so lame in her mind. The worst part was that no matter how hard she tried to stop listening to it, she felt the need to listen to it more.
"Classical?" Jack asked, tilting his head at her.
"I guess it's more instrumental than classical. I like to listen to the background music in movies." Elsa explained, turning a deep red and talking with her hands. God, couldn't she just shut up?
"That's pretty cool. I've never thought to do that, but I'm more of a rap kind of guy." He replied, softly smiling at her.
"You? You like rap?" She asked, glad that he was taking the attention away from her. She would much rather talk about anything but herself.
"Yes, ma'am." Jack nodded, a grin on his face. Elsa started laughing. All she could think about was Jack in a rapping music video with his hat on backwards.
"Okay! Okay! What's your favorite subject?" Elsa giggled, starting to open up to him.
"I really liked history actually. I mean, not like the boring French Revolution, I mean like the Civil War." He explained, hoping she would get what he was saying.
"Ooo! I really liked history, too. But math takes the trophy." She smirked, tilting her head at him.
"Hummm. Very interesting. So, do you like watches?" Jack questioned.
"Watches?" Elsa giggled, surprised at his question.
"Watches." He clarified.
"Not really. I think they're kind of annoying." She lightly laughed.
"Same! Like why do you need a miniature clock on your wrist? Use your phone for goodness sake!" Jack ranted, earning a loud laugh from Elsa.
"Wow, I didn't know you felt so strongly about watches." She laughed.
"Just you two?" A worker asked. Before they knew it, they were at the front of the line. Turns out talking really does pass the time.
"Yup!" Jack replied, popping the 'p'.
"Front row." She mumbled as she pointed to two open seats. Jack and Elsa quickly sat in their spots and buckled themselves in.
"Are you ready?" Jack asked as he looked over at Elsa. She was starting to look a little pale.
"Jack. I'm scared." She whispered. Okay, she was so happy two seconds, now she wanted nothing more than to run away. God, she thought she was going to hurl.
"Hey, hey. You'll be okay. Just think about the color blue, singing a pop song, doing a math problem, or even think about a watch." Jack offered, smiling at her.
"Okay." Elsa nodded her head quickly, closing her eyes.
"All clear. Enjoy your ride!" A worker announced over the intercom as the ride started to slowly move.
"Okay, Elsa. Just take deep breaths. The worst part is alway the beginning." He comforted, looking over at her to make sure she was do okay.
"Okay." She said with her eyes squeezed tight.
"It's better if you open your eyes. Then if you don't like the ride, you at least can remember what it looked like." Jack replied. Elsa slowly opened one eye and then the other.
"Hey, Jack. I'm doing it!" Elsa smiled.
"Now, hold on!" Jack smiled. Soon, they plummeted straight down. Elsa screamed at the top of her lungs and grabbed onto Jack's hand. They were twisting this way and that way. They looked straight ahead and saw a loop-de-loop.
"Oh, no." Elsa frowned.
"Oh, yes!" Jack cheered. They went upside down and raised their arms high in the air. But, too soon, the ride came to a stop. "Wasn't that awesome?" Jack smiled. His hair was crazy from the wind of the fast ride.
"No, Jack. That was better than awesome! I thought I was going to die and I loved it!" She grinned. She was so happy. The ride gave her a huge adrenaline rush.
"What ride should we go on next?" He asked. He was happy that Elsa was finally letting loose and showing him her fun side.
"All of them. I don't care if they spin, go upside down, or have a stomach dropping beginning. We are riding every single ride." She answered.
"That's my girl! Okay, so I was thinking that we should go on that ride since it seems to have a short line." Jack explained.
"Let's do it!" Elsa cheered in a deep voice. She raised her hands high above her head giving out peace signs
"Let's get this party started!" He joined in as they happily walked to the next ride.
~Merida and Hiccup~
"Merida, where are we going?" Hiccup asked as he gripped the sides of the car. Merida told him she was taking him somewhere special. And, of course, she had to drive. Hiccup had already put her on the world's worst driver list.
"It's a surprise. I'm not goin' ta tell ya." Merida smirked. Soon, they pulled into a parking lot and she quickly shut off the car and jumped out. Hiccup unbuckled slowly, confused as to why she was so excited to be there. "Hurry up ya slowpoke!" Merida shouted. Hiccup chuckled and got out of the car.
When he shut the door, the car alarm went off. He sent a glare at Merida, knowing she was the cause. "Oops. Wrong button." She smirked as she locked the car.
"Sure. Wrong button." He replied as he caught up to Merida. She elbowed his side and looked the other direction. Merida opened the glass door and went to the front desk. She whispered something to the secretary and paid for their entrance.
"Come on. This way." Merida smiled as she led the way. As they were walking down the halls, Hiccup was noticing multiple sporting rooms and realized she brought him to a gym.
"Merida, why did you take us to the gym?"
"Because I want ta show ya something." She smirked.
"Does this have to do with lifting?" Hiccup asked. As a young boy, Hiccup was a weakling or as the kids called him, a talking fishbone. Over the years, he grew taller and gained a more muscle, but he's never actually worked out before.
"Nope." Merida replied.
"Then what are we doing?" He asked.
"You'll see when we get there." She smiled. She loved having the upper hand whether that meant she knew something you didn't or if she had more strength than you. Right now, she had both.
"Why can't you just tell me?" Hiccup asked.
"Shush." Merida commanded as she opened the door. Hiccup followed her in and saw multiple targets lined up. He saw bows hanging on the wall. Arrows were in a bag on the opposite wall. Listed on the wall was the rule list which Hiccup knew he would read soon. Two other people were there who happily greeted Merida.
"Merida!" The girl greeted.
"How's it goin', Mulan?" Merida asked. Mulan and her husband were archery enthusiasts just like her, only Merida had a stronger love for the sport. Not to mention, she was a tad bit better. Okay, a lot better.
"Who's this tall glass of water?" Mulan asked. She's known Merida for the past two years and has learned that Merida wasn't one for a relationship.
"This is ma husband, Hiccup." Merida explained. Just as she expected, she was greeted with looks of confusion from Mulan and Li Shang.
"Husband?" They exclaimed.
"I joined that tv show that pairs ya with a random stranger and I got paired with him." Merida explained.
"You're one lucky man." Li Shang laughed, receiving an elbow in the side from Mulan.
"Yes, he is." Merida smirked as she walked over and grabbed her lucky bow. She picked up her arrows and called Hiccup over. "Have you ever shot an arrow before?" Merida asked.
"Never." Hiccup chuckled.
"Well, today's your lucky day. Okay, so I'm going ta shot a few so ya can see how it's done." Merida explained. She shot at every target and made a bullseye on every one.
"I'm impressed." Hiccup smiled.
"We're going to go! See ya, Mer! It was great meeting you, Hiccup." Mulan and Li Shang called as they walked out of the room, leaving Hiccup and Merida alone. Merida waved goodbye then turned her attention back to Hiccup.
"Okay, so here's a bow. Now, you're going ta put this hand here. And this hand here." She explained as she moved Hiccup's hands on the bow.
"Okay." He replied, anxious about what he was about to do. He wasn't one for any type of physical activity or hunting skill. This wasn't somethin he was comfortable with.
"Now, your arrow goes right here. It's going ta feel tight as ya pull da arrow back." Merida smiled. Hiccup pulled the arrow back, unsure of himself.
"Merida, do you think I can do this?" He suddenly asked, a slight bit of fear in his remarkable green eyes.
"Yes. Now, don't pluck the string, let it flow through your fingers and let your fingers finish by gently brushing your cheek." She quickly explained, not noticing his fear. She was just so excited to see him try to shoot.
"When do I let go?" Hiccup asked, glancing back at her.
"Well, first ya have ta aim. Close your left eye and aim your arrow onto da bullseye." Merida explained, tapping the bow.
"Okay, I think I'm ready." He replied after his nervous gulp. What if he missed and hit Merida instead? Oh, God. He wasn't very good with blood either.
"Let it fly!" Merida cheered. Hiccup let it go and it landed in the outer black circle.
"I missed." Hiccup sighed, his arms sinking beside his sides.
"That's okay, not everyone is perfect at this the first time. Well, except me." Merida joked, patting his shoulder.
"Really?" Hiccup asked, not picking up on her joke.
"I'm just kiddin', Hiccup." Merida snorted, elbowing his side.
"Oh. Must've missed that." Hiccup blushed as he rubbed the back of his neck, which only made Merida laugh harder. Once she calmed down, she requested that he try again. So he did. After a couple tries, Hiccup finally hit a bullseye.
"Hiccup! This is amazing! Ey knew ey would be a great coach." Merida smirked, crossing her arms over her chest. Whether she would admit it or not, she was more so proud of him than herself.
"You're an amazing coach! Can we shoot another one?" Hiccup begged.
"Yes, but this time, I'm going ta shoot with ye." She smiled as she picked up her bow and an arrow.
"Ready."
"Set."
"Shoot!" They both shouted. They launched their arrows, both making a bullseye. Merida turned to Hiccup and was grinning ear to ear.
"You did it!" Merida cheered.
"I did it!" Hiccup smiled. He was filled with so much joy that he grabbed a hold of Merida's face and brought it to his. He roughly placed his lips onto her's, making her jump. They both let go, surprised at Hiccup's actions. "Sorry. I don't know what came over me." Hiccup blushed. Finally, Merida was warming up to him and he had to ruin it.
"It's okay. I liked it." She smiled with pink cheeks. She couldn't believe she said that out loud. She meant to say something tough, but she sounded like a girl.
"Me, too." Hiccup chuckled. Merida decided to ask him a question that had been bothering her for a while.
"Hiccup."
"Yeah, Mer?" He answered. He was nervous about what she would say.
"Would like ta sleep in ma room with me tonight?"
"Umm, sure. Just for tonight?" He replied, cocking his head at her. Did he really impress her that much that she wanted him beside her in that bed?
"I mean, every night if you like." She continued, her cheeks turning a dark red. Oh, God. How did she just ask that? Oh, she probably sounded so stupid right now. Why must she have emotions!?
"Thanks. I'd like to." He smiled.
~Anna and Kristoff~
"Kristoff!" Anna yelled. She was standing in their living room holding a blindfold. It was Kristoff's birthday and she couldn't wait for him to see his gift. She just knew he would love it.
"What?"
"Come here!"
"Why?"
"Just do it!" Anna replied. Kristoff ran down the stairs. He jumped down the last three and almost fell over. Anna tried to hold in her laugh but it came out anyways. Kristoff glared at her and walked to her side.
"What do you want?" He chuckled, eyeing the blindfold in her hands.
"Put this on!" She cheered, holding it to his eyes.
"Why? Wait. Is that my sweatshirt?" Kristoff questioned, brushing away her hands to see what she was wearing.
"Yes. I was cold and I wanted something big and comfy and your sweatshirt was perfect. Now, put this on!" Anna grinned as she stood on her tiptoes to reach his eyes. Kristoff chuckled and bent down so she could tie it. "Can you see anything?"
"Nope." He replied, a smile wide on his face.
"Really. Then what am I doing right down?" She asked as she made her silliest face.
"You're making a silly face." He chuckled. He's lived with Anna long enough to know that she would make a silly face.
"You can see me." Anna pouted, crossing her arms over her chest. What was she going to use instead of a blindfold? It always worked in the movies.
"Anna, if I could see you, don't you think I would lie about what you were doing?" Kristoff chuckled.
"Good point. Now, I'm going to led you outside." She explained as she took his large hand. Kristoff walked slowly behind, trying to follow her. "Come on! Hurry up." Anna cheered. She started walking faster and faster. She opened the door, then the screen door. When she let go, she accidentally slammed the screen door onto his face.
"Ow. Door." He replied, a smile wide on his face.
"Sorry," She apologized as she led him outside. She let go of his hand and jumped around. "Oops. I need to take this off." Anna giggled.
"That might help." He replied with a light chuckle. Anna quickly took it off and looked at Kristoff's face. His jaw dropped all the way to the ground.
"I bought you a car." Anna cheered, her arms wide.
"Are you serious?." He gasped.
"Yes! And it's the latest model!" Anna squealed, grabbing onto one of his arms.
"No, I can't take this." Kristoff refused, shaking his head at her. They had just met. He could just take this car. It had to be extremely expensive.
"You have to. No returns." Anna glared, poking his chest. Kristoff shook his head, surprised that she bought him a car. "Do you like it?" She nervously asked, intwining her fingers together. What if that's why he wouldn't take it?
"Like it? I love it!" Kristoff cheered as he brought her into a hug and twirled her around. "I could kiss you! I mean-uh-I could-um-may I-may we? Wait. What?" Kristoff grumbled. God. Must he ruin every good moments with his rambles? Anna reached over and kissed his cheek. His eyes went as wide as he tried to process what just happened.
"We may," She smirked. Kristoff smiled and brought her into a long kiss. They let go and were blushing madly. "Well, should we take this baby out for a spin?" Anna asked.
"Let's do it!" He cheered. They hopped into the car and buckled their seatbelt. He put Sven in the back and started the car. "Hang on, we like to go fast." Kristoff smirked.
"I like fast." Anna cheered as she placed her feet onto his dash.
"Get your feet down. What? Were you raised in a barn?" Kristoff asked as he pushed her feet down.
"No, I was raised in our house," Anna smirked. Kristoff playfully rolled his eyes and drove the car onto the highway. He drove as fast as he could legally. "Can we go show Elsa and Jack our new car?" Anna asked.
"I don't see why not." He replied. He drove to their apartment and parked the car.
"I'll go get them. You just stay in the car." Anna smiled as she got out. She raced up to their room and pounded on the door.
"Coming!" Jack shouted. Anna heard the door unlock and saw a tired Jack.
"Hi, Jack! Busy day at work?" Anna asked as she pointed to his hair.
"No, more like a busy day at the amusement park." He smiled. He still cou don't believe it. He somehow talked Elsa into riding every ride there.
"You took Elsa to an amusement park? Don't you know she's afraid of heights?" Anna asked.
"She really liked it." Jack replied. Anna shrugged her shoulders, maybe Elsa was changing. At least it was a good change.
"Anna, what brings you here? What did Kristoff do to you? I swear when I get my hands on him-" Elsa rambled. Well, at she was still the overprotective older sister.
"Elsa, Kristoff didn't do anything. Well, except maybe steal a kiss. Now, come on, I want to show you his birthday present." Anna smiled. They followed Anna downstairs and into the parking lot.
"Wow!" Elsa awed.
"I know! Isn't it a beauty?" Kristoff replied, sitting in the hood of the car.
"That must have cost you a fortune." Elsa gasped, covering her out with her hands.
"Naw, Jack gave me his employee discount." Anna smiled, waving her away.
"So, I guess Jackson is good for something." Elsa smirked, eyeing Jack. He let out a Goan and rolled his blue eyes.
"Wow. Now you're going to use me for car discounts."
"Do you guys want a ride?" Kristoff asked.
"Yes!" Jack and Elsa cheered. They hopped in the back only to be met face to face with a big, drooling dog.
"Umm, Kristoff, there's a dog in your backseat." Jack replied, pointing at the large dog. Jack was surprised it even fit back there.
"Oh, that's just Sven. He's a big softy. You don't have to worry about him." Kristoff chuckled. Jack and Elsa shrugged their shoulders and hopped in.
"Take this baby on the interstate!" Jack cheered.
"Yeah! Then we can go eighty!" Anna added.
"Okay, but you better hang on!" Kristoff laughed. Everyone rolled down their windows and let out a loud cheer as they sped down the interstate.
~Rapunzel and Eugene~
Eugene walked into the house and heard Rapunzel singing at the top of her lungs. "Shatter every window till it's all blown away!" Rapunzel sang. Eugene went and followed the voice to the spare bedroom. He looked in and saw Rapunzel painting on the walls. He stood against the doorway, watching her sing and paint. When the song ended, he started clapping.
"I see we have a Carrie Underwood fan in the house." Eugene smirked, crossing his arms over his chest.
"Eugene Fitzherbert! You gave me a heart attack!" Rapunzel replied as she smacked his chest. She had her brown hair tied back and a headband pulling back the baby hairs that wouldn't fit. Her old clothes were covered in multiple colors from the other times she's painted.
"I thought you didn't like country." He replied, tilting his heads at her.
"Well, you listened to my music so I thought, maybe I could try out yours and I kinda like it." Rapunzel rambled, talking with her hands. She didn't know why she felt the need to defend herself, but she did. Maybe because she had told him how much she hated it and now she actually enjoyed it.
"Who do you like?" Eugene asked, his brown eyes meeting her green ones. Immediately, they lit up in excitement.
"Carrie Underwood, Zac Brown Band. Ooo! And Luke Bryan!" Rapunzel awed, folding her hands above her chest.
"Do you like him for his looks or his songs?" Eugene smirked, running his Han through his hair.
"Both. I mean, he's pretty cute." She blushed, glancing towards the ground. A main reason she found her attractive was his similar look to Eugene. Not that she thought Eugene was handsome or anything.
"But I'm better, right?" Eugene smirked. Rapunzel seemed to be thinking about it.
"Yeah, I guess you're pretty attractive." Rapunzel replied. She paused, surprised by her rambling mouth. She bit her lips and her eyes widened.
"So you think I'm attractive?" He grinned, glad he was getting this out of her. It was nice knowing one of the prettiest girl he knew was attracted to him as well.
"Well, yeah. I mean, that's basically the only reason I married you." Rapunzel smirked, using her ramble against him.
"Wow. At first I thought you were complimenting me, and now you're saying that's the only reason you married me." He smiled, enjoying their playful banter.
"Oh, come on. I know that's the only reason you married me." She replied, a smile wide on her face. She was enjoying their teasings as well.
"Maybe."
"Ha! I knew it!" She shouted, pointing at him.
"I've got a thing for brunettes." Eugene laughed, shrugging his shoulders.
"I can tell. Anyways, guess who called trying to talk to you." She stated, changing the subject as she dipped her paintbrush into the paint can again.
"My mother. You know, you would think she would stop trying to call me if I haven't called her back yet." He replied, watching Rapunzel continue to paint the walls.
"No, it wasn't your mother. It was someone named Jessica."
"Like my sister?"
"She sounded like your mother. She told me that you needed to call her immediately." Rapunzel answered, shrugging her shoulder.
"I'm going to call her quick, okay?" Eugene declared, walking out of the room.
"Sure, I'm going to finish up this painting." Rapunzel replied. Eugene smiled and walked out of the room. He went into the living room and dialed his sister's number. She picked up after the second ring.
"Eugene! Finally, I thought you wouldn't call me back." Jessica replied, worry in her voice.
"What's wrong?" Eugene asked. His sister only calls him when she's in trouble and needs his help. This must be a big deal.
"I was wondering if you could watch the girls."
"What about DD?" He asked. That's what he calls Jessica's boyfriend. Distant Dick. The guy was never around when he was needed. If anything was wrong with one of the girls or if Jessica was in trouble, the guy would be in the wind for a few days.
"I told you not to call Jared that."
"Look, he's only there when he wants something then he's gone the next day. Perfect definition of a DD." Eugene argued, anger entering his tone.
"Look, Eugene. It's not like I can break up with him. We have two girls together."
"Then get married." He countered.
"Look, I'm not here to talk about my relationship. Can you watch the girls or not?"
"What about Mom and Dad?"
"Gone." Jessica answered.
"I hate to ask, but, Elijah?"
"I don't trust him with my kids."
"Why? I mean, he's more responsible than me." Eugene reasoned. It was true. Elijah was the most responsible of all of the Fitzherbert children. He was a fancy business man in Arendelle. Come to think of it, he hardly had time for their family, too.
"For one, he's way too responsible. He'll probably cook everything to the exact degree or he'll send the girls to bed at exactly 9:30. Two, I like you better. Three, the girls only like you. They hate every other babysitter. Especially Elijah." Jessica replied.
"You only like me because I always get you out of trouble." Eugene chuckled.
"You're realistic. You told me that going out with my friends was stupid so I didn't go and I studied for my test and passed with straight A's."
"Good point. Fine, I'll watch the girls. When are they coming over?"
"Friday till Saturday afternoon."
"Kay, see you then." Eugene replied.
"Bye, Eugene. And thanks." Jessica replied as she ended the call. Eugene walked back to the spare room and found Rapunzel washing off her brushes.
"What did she want?" Rapunzel asked, spotting Eugene in the doorway.
"She wants us to babysit her girls. It's only from Friday till Saturday afternoon." Eugene explained. He enjoyed Jessica's girls and hoped Rapunzel would be okay with them coming over.
"That should be fine. I'll get my parents' air mattress and we can set it up in the living room for them." Rapunzel smiled, propping her hands on her hips.
"Great. Hey, I was wondering. Do you want to go out for dinner Saturday night?" Eugene asked.
"Eugene, are you asking me out on a date?" She smiled.
"I guess you could call it that." He blushed. What? Why was he blushing? He never blushes!
"Oh, my god! Okay, okay. Come ask me again, but this time do it like you've never met me before." Rapunzel requested. She wanted this to feel like the real thing. He was actually admitting that he liked her more than a friend.
"Why?" Eugene chuckled, arching his eyebrow at her.
"Please! I want to see how you flirt with other women." She begged as she shoved him out the door.
"Fine," Eugene laughed. Eugene flipped around and walked over to her and gave her a big, flirty grin. "Hi."
"Hey." She replied, lightly giggling.
"How you doin'? The name's Eugene."
"I'm doing just fine. I'm Rapunzel."
"Well, Rapunzel, how about I buy you a drink?" He asked, nodding towards the door. Rapunzel giggled into her hands, thinking this was hilarious.
"I would love that," she agreed. Eugene ran away and came back with two beers. "Thank you."
"It's nothing for a pretty girl like you." Eugene replied, using his smolder.
"Okay! What is that face?" Rapunzel laughed, interrupting their pretend introduction.
"It's my smolder!" He defended. Rapunzel just kept laughing.
"Don't tell me that that face actually works on women!" She laughed, her cheeks turning a light pink.
"Not usually." Eugene chuckled, shrugging his shoulder.
"Ooo! I was unpacking a few boxes and I found this!" Rapunzel cheered, changing the subject again. She bent down and lifted up his old guitar.
"I didn't know I still had this." Eugene smiled, handing it in his hands.
"I didn't know you played." She softly replied, smiling.
"Well, I only know one song." He chuckled back.
"Will you play it for me, please?" She asked, her green eyes meeting his brown ones.
"I can't remember it." Eugene lied. Rapunzel pouted and used her puppy dog eyes.
"Pwease!" She pleaded.
"Fine. But only because I haven't played in a while." He chuckled, swinging it onto his lap. He sat down next to Rapunzel and strummed his guitar.
Somethin bout a truck in a farmers field
A no trespass sign, and time to kill
Nobody's gonna get hurt, so what's the big deal
Somethin bout a truck in a farmer's field
Somethin bout beer, sittin on ice
After a long hard day, makes it taste just right
On that dropped tailgate, on a summer night
Somethin bout beer sittin on ice
And there's somethin bout a girl in a red sun dress
With an ice cold beer pressed against her lips
In that farmers field, will make a boy a mess
There's somethin bout a girl in a red sundress
And there's somethin bout a kiss that's gonna lead to more
On that dropped tailgate back behind the corn
The most natural thing you've ever felt before
There's somethin bout a kiss that's gonna lead to more
And there's somethin bout a truck in a field
And a girl in a red sundress with an ice cold beer to her lips beggin for another kiss
And there's somethin bout you and me and the birds and the bees
And lord have mercy it's a beautiful thing
Ain't nothin bout it luck,
There's somethin bout a truck
Somethin bout a creek, around 2 a.m.
After a few of those beers, you wanna dive on in
You don't need no clothes, so just hang em on a limb
There's somethin bout a creek around 2 a.m.
And there's somethin bout a truck in a field
And a girl in a red sundress with an ice cold beer to her lips
Beggin for another kiss
And there's somethin bout you and me and the birds and the bees
And lord have mercy, it's a beautiful thing
Ain't nothin bout it luck, there's somethin bout a truck
Ain't nothin bout it luck, there's somethin bout a truck
Eugene looked at Rapunzel and saw her looking at him happily. "Looks like we found something you like." Rapunzel smiled.
"I guess."
"But I have one question for you." She stated, looking down at the ground and tapping his knee.
"Shoot."
"I thought you said you didn't sing." Rapunzel smirked, looking back into his eyes.
"I only sing for you. I will not sing in church." Eugene argued.
"For now." Rapunzel smirked.
