Part 13

Rk opened the door of his apartment using his key and flung Open it. An air of emptyiness hit him , tossing and agonising his.geart,like a paper ball.he felt the deep void in his heart and he was not sure what's happening with him as this feeling of emptyiness in his apartment was upsetting him, agonising him .he couldn't realise.that it's the emptiness caused by his own decision Making his life empty and color less.he felt restless and decided to go for a drive . closing the door he walked towards his car and get inside Before speeding it to no where.he craved for something he doesn't know and ended up in a bar.he thought one shot .will help him to ease the restlessness ...but it turned out to 2,3,4...till he lost the count and his consciousness.he held his head on the barcounter and cravings for sometime more than alcohol.he whispered Something to the bartender in his unclear voice

"Why...I am not getting high...I ...why I feel that ache?"he asked trying to raise his head from the countertop

"Buddy?..."Someone tapped on his shoulder and he tried to turn his head but qffutile attempt

He came to face him to his.sidr

"Hah... sikky?"rk

"Yeah...this bar staff called me to get you back as it's time to close it"sikky

"Oh...yeah...is it that late?"rk

"Yes..12 pm"sikky

"Okay...let's go"rk tried to stood up and sikky helped him up.tjey went to the parking lot

"I will drive "rk fished out his key from his denim and tried to unlock the door .he couldn't find the lock . each time he tried to insert the key it went Wrong.sikky waited tying his hand under his.chest with a smirk, for him to get fed up and ask sikky to drive as he is aware of rks stubbornness.after few minutes of fumbling with the key he stopped the war between key and keyhole ,decided to handover it to sikky cursing the key and his partner .

"F**k you "he stared at the car.sikky couldn't contain it and he laughed out.rk turned to him and the next one to receive his burning stare was sikky

"Come rk..let's go,"sikky said opening the passager door for rk.he hold at.the door to keep his body balance and climbed in the car with much difficulty. Sikky tried to help him 

"No,...I am not a child" rk scowled and adjusted himself on the seat and tried to buckle the seatbelt . each Tim it slipped and he decided to quit his futile attempt.

Sikky started the car and.drove off to Thier apartment .rk mumbled a unclearlu and fall into a deep slumber by the affect of all the alcohol he has consume

Morning

Madhu heard the announcement for clasping Thier seat belt as the flight I'd going to land and she does as they said.soon she felt the jerk of tyres touching the road.after few minutes the flight went to a halt and the passengers hurried to get out of the plane.sje slowly went out of the terminal and joined with the crowd to exit.the sound of people chattering in her own language made her.happy but the next minute she thought about him and her heart retrived the ache it was shielding from fast few hours.she didn't want to spill her tears and get the attention of the crowd as.she had already made a fuss to get too many attention.she moved.yo the exit and saw rks parents waiting there for her .she collected.tje luggage and moved towards them.they Smiled seeing her and.she leaned for Thier blessings

"How was the journey dear?"radhaji

"It was hectic...but most of the time I slept",Madhu

"Han..i hate this.journey by air... usually I have an ear ache out of the pressure variation"mohan Said

"How's your stay there ..you enjoyed it?"radha.the mere reference of her stay there reminded her about him and her.heart ached again.but she couldn't show her tears the anyone so she suppressed it in her and Smiled

"No ma...it was quite boring"madhu said averted her gaze to floor as she couldn't look at Radhadji s eyes.

"Can we keep it for some other time, our way to home?"mohan asked to Radha feeling that madhu is having discomfort as she came back from a long journey of 22 hours(I don't know if it is correct or not)

They climbed inside the car ,Madhu inrhe  back seat and Radha at passager seat.madhu felt relieved as she get time to comprehend with the situation Without giving her mother in law any hind about current scenario.

"Madhu...I was really tensed when rishu called us and said that you are coming back .I asked him y .. but he didn't give a proper response"Radha"what is the matter Madhu?any problem btn you two?"radhaji

"Oh... wow..now I have to tell her everything and be a culprit in Thier eyes too..I will keep it to myself that will be the better option'madhu thought and she decided something by herself for the very first time without the help of her friend dipali or her parents...yes to lie...but for a good reason.

"Ma...I felt so boring and alone there.so j was asking him to allow me to come back and after a month of persuading finally I am here "she said faking happiness

"Oh well...but we thought we had a good news and he is sending you here as you will be having some vomiting or weaknesses,"Radha said sadly ,Thier castle of Hope for a new member in Thier family,Thier son's blood ,shattered.

Madhu felt embarrassed at radhaji comment and felt sad too.she felt pity for radhaji as her dreams will never come true ,..at least between herself and rk.radhaji might fulfill her desire for grandchild after 6 months, when rk got remarried after Thier divorce.thr word"divorce"send  flashes of rks cruel words and the hatred filled look he had given to her.

They reached home and Mohan collected her luggage and placed it in third room.madhu entered the room and the waves of memory swiped her like a wave of sadness bringing tears in her eyes.she saw Thier wedding photo framed and hung to the wall like a wrong piece of a puzzle never fix into Thier life.

She slowly walked to the bed and sat down on it.she lieddown on the side where rk used to sleep.she felt the faint smell of his cologne and reminds her about Thier first kiss and how she demanded him for more.

Madhu heard.her phone ringing and took it our from her bag.shr saw dipalis number flashing and recieved her call like it is the drop of water for a man who happened to get lost in a desert.

"Dips..."her voice wetted with tears .

"Madhu..what happened?"dipali"Everything went good na"

"No dips"she explained everything with her including the Abhay episode

"Ah.. what?a look alike?"dips gasped"..no Madhu...you are mistaken.."

"No dips ...I am sure from the girls gesture"Madhu said

',"he is double crossing you and that pia girl...I warned you about him having another family and it went true"dips argued

"No dips ..I am damn sure he is not rk"Madhu 

"Okay leave it..but you lied your mother inlaw...you should have told Everything and come back to your home 'dips said'

"No dips...I don't want them to get hurt"Madhu

"Hurt my foot...Madhu you can hurt her and by that way you can revenge him"dips

"It's really low for me dips"Madhu said and Dipali cut the call annoyed.she couldn't stand Madhu talking back to.her on her Perfect ideas .Madhu dialed her number and she heard.the operator saying the number is switched off.sue sighed and wiped her tenew formed.tears

Rk opened his eyes and squeeze shut it from the light Ray's of morning sun.he sat in the bed pressing his forehead .he saw a hand with a pain tablet on the palm.

"Madhu",he said before looking at the person.

"Nope sikky"sikky Said with a smile.

"Madhu?"rk asked without thinking

Sikky looked at him questioning

"Agrh...I send her back to India.."rk said "she is not here you idiot "he said.to himself

"Okay rk...I am leaving now ..I had made breakfast for you and kept at the table"sikky

"Okay..thanks sikky"rk went to the bathroom and came out freshened up.

He took his food and get ready for his office .he took a paper from the book and wrote in it "I am leaving to office "and stick it on fridge.he turned to leave and then he remembered he is alone in home and he shouldn't have to stick a note for anyone.

"She is not here rk..don't act idiot"he took it and crumbled into a ball and throw it in the trash can and left to his office with a restlessness which he couldn't find our the reason for.
