The Engagement day

Neela: Ashish bf ready hai aajao.

Ashish: Neela where is Princess?

Neela: don't know abhi tak niche nahi ayi hai. Abhi mein usse dekh ne jane hi wali ho.

Neela goes to upstairs. Neela goes to Avni's room she sits on the bed & caresses her hair.

Neela: baccha uth jao kya huya tumhe.

Avni: 5 minutes more.. (keeping her head on Neela's lap.)

Neela maa caresses her hair..

Neela: baccha tum to aise kabhi nahi karte toh aj kya huya?

Avni: oo maa kal late night tak jag rahi thi too (Avni realize what she said & bits her tongue)

Neela: late night matlab? Baccha tum kal late night tak jag rahe the? Meine bola tha na jaldi sojana.

Avni: I am sorry maa but mujhe nervousness ki wajah se nind nahi aa rahi thi or phir Neil ji ka call aa gaya. Or baat karte karte late ho gaya..

Neela: accha toh yhe baat hai. Akele Akele nahi jagi ja rahi thi koi or bhi saath de raha tha. Not bad hmmm...

Avni: what maa ab ab mein late ho rahi hu.

Neela: for what Kisi ko good morning wish karne ke liye?

Avni: maaa

Neela: ok baba sorry tum ready ho jao. Jaldi se. Breakfast is ready papa is waiting for you come soon..

Avni: OK. I am coming.

Neela: BTW my son-in-law deserves a sweet good morning wish..

Avni: maaaaa

Neela: OK OK I am going

Neela leaves from there.

Avni blush & suddenly her eyes falls on her phone. She take it & message him.

Good morning Neil ji.

Other side

Neil is having bf suddenly his phone beeped.

Neil take his phone out.

Shweeta: tillu khane ki table pe no phone call & no work.

Neil: OK mom

In Mehta house

Avni: Neil ji ka reply nahi aaya abhi tak. Sayeed so raha hoga. Kal sote sote bhi late ho gaya tha toh... Avni tu chor yhe sab or jaldi jake bf kar le.

Avni comes downstairs

Avni: good morning papa

Ashish:good morning princess. Aj meri princess late kese ho gayi..

Neela: Princess ki life me ab Prince Jo aa gaya hai.

Avni glares at her

In Khanna house

After breakfast

Neil goes to his room & check his phone & a sweet smile comes on his face. Neil Read the message & reply her.

Neil: Good morning soon to be fiance.

Avni smiles seeing his message.

They get busy in their own job.

Like this day pass

In the evening

The Mehta House is decorated like bride.

Many people roaming in the hall & gossiping. Neela & Ashish welcome the guests. Then the most important guest of today arrives.

Neela: namaste Shweeta ji

They hug each other. Ashish & Prakash do the same. Neil takes their blessings.

Ashish: come inside.. & have a seat.

Neil's eyes are searching for one person.

Neela: Neil beta tumhari nazar jise dhund raha hai woh upar room me hai.

Neil: no maa mein Avni ko nahi dhund raha hu. Mein to bas decorations dekh raha tha bohat accha hai.

Neela: par Neil beta meine toh Avni ka naam bhi nahi liya.

Neil gets embarrassed & bit his tongue while blushing.

Everyone laughs.

Ashish: Neela or maat tarsao mera son-in-law ko jao or princess ko le aao.

Neela: haa.

Neela leaves

Ashish: Neil beta tab tak tum betho.

Neil: ji papa.

Neil goes & sits on the couch which was placed on the stage. His is looking at the stair time to time. Hearing the sound of bangles & anklets every one looks at stair. Neil stand up in his place. He forgets to blink. Avni feels strong gaze on her. She looks up & seeing Neil staring at her she feels shy & looks down. She is blushing at his intense gaze on her.

Avni comes to the stage. Neil forward his hand. She looks at his hand then at him. He told her to give her hand on his hand by gesture.

Avni slyly give her hand on his hand. They sit on the couch..

Their outfits

Shweeta: pandit ji aap suru kijiye. Mujhse or wait nahi ho rahi. Mera bas chalta toh aj hi mein in dono ki shadi karwa ke apni beti ko apne ghar le jati.

Everyone smiles. Here Neil is feeling nervous. Till yesterday he was fine he was consoling Avni but today he is feeling nervous. Avni look at him by the corner of her eyes.

Avni: nervous? (in low voice)

Neil: thoda. Pata nahi kal tak toh thik tha.

Avni: don't be. Just breath in & breath out. Kisine humse kaha tha ki jab bhi nervousness ho toh aisa karne se relief milta hai. Do it I am sure you will feel better.

Neil: accha ji humari tricks hum pe hi.

Avni smiles.

Neil does it & smiles

Neil: so soon to be Mrs Neil Khanna what are you feeling? Today we are going to be both officially & unofficially engaged.

Avni looks at him with frown..

Neil: what?

Avni: what do you mean by officially & unofficially?

Neil: bola jata hai roka hona matlab unofficially engaged hona or engagement matlab officially engaged. Or aj humari roka or engagement dono hai toh huye na hum aj officially or unofficially engaged

They do their roka.

Pandit: abhi ladka larki ek dusre ko ring pehnaiye.

Their rings.

They exchange rings & everyone claps for them..
