MUMBAI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Jhanvi, Omkara and Rudra were waiting for their car outside the airport. Within a few minutes, a car halted in front of them. A well-built man, wearing an uniform, came out of the driving seat with a wide smile on his face. He was overwhelmed to see his ma'am and her sons again.

Man - Good evening, Jhanvi ma'am. Good evening, Om baba. Good evening, Rudy baba. Welcome back to Mumbai.

JO - Good evening, Khanna.

R - Khanna, now it's time to say 'Good Night'. So please take me to home fast. I am very sleepy.

Khanna chuckled.

Kh - You have not changed even a bit, Rudy baba.

Khanna said as his eyes moistened a little. He opened the door of the car for them to enter. They entered and he quickly started the car and drove away.

Omkara was sitting at the back seat with his younger brother, Rudra. He slid down the glass and inhaled deeply. A smile crept on his face as he felt content to be back to his hometown, Mumbai.

OBEROI MANSION

Within an hour, they reached The Oberoi Mansion. They came out of the car.

Khanna asked the servants to take their luggage inside.

K - Your rooms are all ready, ma'am.

Khanna said smiling at Jhanvi. Jhanvi nodded at him and turned to her sons.

J - I am going to my room. You both go to your rooms and take rest. Tomorrow Vishaal, Anjali and their daughters will be coming here. So you should be awake by that time. And I will inform your father that we reached. Good night.

She said hugging her sons and went to her room.

R - (yawning) Good night O.

O - (chuckling) Good night duffer.

They dispersed to their rooms.

SHARMA MANSION

Gauri's Room

Gauri and Avanthika were cuddling with each other on the bed.

Av - Di....

G - Hmm

Av - You are fine, right?!

G - Why so?! What will happen to me?!

Gauri asked frowning at the sudden strange question.

Av - I am talking about Yadu.

G - You still think about him?! You only told me to forget him and move on. Now look, you are thinking about him when I have already moved on.

Gauri said casually.

Av - I am happy that you have moved on. He doesn't deserve you. But I can never forgive him for what he did to you. I have seen what you went through when he cheated on you. If I get him in my hands, I will not hesitate to beat him black and blue.

G - I know, Avanthi. I know how much you love me. But now let's forget everything. We shouldn't even think about him because he doesn't even deserve that. I made a mistake once by thinking Yadu was my true love but he proved me wrong. But that doesn't mean I am going to cry over it. One day, maybe, I might find the one, who will truly love me, not my name or money. And he will make me see why it never worked out with anyone else. I am waiting for that person, who will finally complete me.

Gauri completed with a smile.

Av - Jeeju will meet you soon, di. And he will love you the way no one ever loved you.

Avanthika said hugging Gauri tightly.

G - Good night, Avanthi. We should wake up early tomorrow. So sleep.

Av - (yawning) Good night, di.

They slept hugging each other tightly.

NEXT DAY

OBEROI MANSION

Omkara's room

Omkara was working on his laptop when his mother barged into his room.

O - Mom, I will come within few minutes. This will get finished soon.

He said feeling his mother's glare on him, without even raising his head from the laptop.

J - They will be reaching now. Can't you keep aside your work atleast today?! I think I should break that laptop of yours.

He kept working on his laptop as he was hearing this for the nth time now.

J - No! No. I think I should get you married. That's a better idea!

Omkara's fingers momentarily stopped as he looked at his mother bewildered.

O - You must be kidding me!

His mother just smirked at him and went outside the room. He groaned and again started typing onto his laptop.

Outside the mansion

J - Anju!!!

A - Jaanu!!!

They screamed happily seeing each other after a long time and hugged. They were actually jumping with happiness.

Gauri and Avanthika were looking at them bewildered.

Av - Di, I think by seeing each other after a long time, they got mad.

Avanthika said still reeling from the shock.

"You are right!"

Avanthika nodded absentmindely but soon frowned when she realised that it was a male voice. She turned to her side to see a man, most probably of her sister's age, looking at her Badi Maa and Jaanu Aunty, with the same expressions she had a few minutes ago.

Av - (confused) Who are you?!

He turned towards them.

R - Oh sorry! I forgot to introduce myself. Rudra Singh Oberoi.

Rudra said while forwarding his hands towards Avanthika for a handshake.

Av - Avanthika Sharma.

She said as she shook her hands with him.

He smiled at her and later looked at Gauri.

G - Gauri Sharma.

She said with her usual million dollar smile evident on her face.

R - Nice to meet you girls and by the way I think we should interrupt them atleast now or else they will never stop.

He said looking at his mother who was talking animatedly with her friend.

A - I have brought something special for you.

Anjali took out a tiffin box from her bag and opened it. Jhanvi jumped in joy seeing her favourite dish.

A - Anjali's special Dosa and Sambaar.

J - Do you even know how much I missed this?! Oh My God! Oh My God. I can't even wait to eat it.

Dosa and Sambaar made by Anjali was Jhanvi's favourite since their childhood whereas Vellayappam and Egg Curry made by Jhanvi was Anjali's favourite.

G - Someone please atleast spare us a glance.

Jhanvi and Anjali turned towards their kids, who were folding their hands against their chest with a fake, cute angry pout. They grinned at their kids sheepishly.

J - Gauri! Avanthi!

She called out to them while opening her arms. They grinned and ran to hug her.

Rudra was smiling at the scene when he felt a gentle caress on the back of his head. He turned to see Anjali smiling at him.

A - You were a little kiddo when I saw you the last time. Now look, you have grown up into a young handsome man.

He smiled at her proudly.

A - Where is your elder one?

R - He is busy with his wife, Anju aunty!

Rudra said making faces.

G - Jaanu Aunty, why didn't you invite us for your son's wedding?! Very bad, aunty! Very bad.

A - Now don't start your drama again! Rudy was talking about Om's laptop, which is with him 24 by 7. He is incomplete without his laptop.

She said chuckling.

J - (dramatically) What to do?! Like father, like son.

Few minutes later, they were in the living room chitchatting with each other.

R - Mom, I am taking Gauri and Avanthi. I will show them around.

J - Ok. And if you need anything, we will be in the kitchen.

They nodded and went from there.

Gauri was looking around the house fascinated by the interior works. While Avanthika and Rudra were continuosly chitchatting.

Avanthika stopped talking as she glanced at Gauri. With a mischievous smirk she whispered something to Rudra who gladly agreed with her. They sneaked away from there without her notice.

Gauri was so into the artworks that she failed to notice if someone has come or gone.

G - Rudy, who made this painting?!

Voice - I made it.

An unfamiliar yet familiar male voice came from her back causing her to turn around in a jiffy. She was bumped into a hard chest and was about to fall backwards but he caught her on the right time.

Omkara stared at the girl in his arms, whom he guessed as his mother's friend's daughter. She had her eyes closed due to fear.

Gauri opened her eyes, only to meet with a quite familiar pair of black orbs which was staring right back at her. Her breath got hitched when she felt his cold hands on her bare waist, which was slightly exposed because of her pink crop top and black jeans.

Whereas, he was still staring at those hazel brown eyes of her, finding it familiar. He only realised their position when he heard a soft gasp from her.
