Chapter 28

Omkara ordered Khanna to wake Kali up. Khanna grabs a bucket of ice cold water and poured it over Kali's head forcing him to wake. Furiously wiping the water dripping from his face Kali noticed a long metal chain on his right wrist. Seeing that the chain was attached to a brick wall Kali tried to use all his strength to yank it out but the chain did not budge. Blood dripping from his stab wounds were running down his arms and seeing it made him remember the faces of Omkara and Gauri. You could see all the veins on his face as he roared "DAMN YOU!! I WILL F@*KING KILL YOU!" Kali continued yanking at the chain when he heard someone laughing. "Who's there!" Out from the dark emerged the two people he wanted to rip apart "YOU!" Gauri continues to laugh "Yes...it's me." With Om's hand still holding hers he lead her to sit down in front of Kali. Seeing Gauri was so close Kali ran towards her wanting to strangle her but the chain jerked his entire body back forcing him to fall onto the ground. By the time he got back onto his feet he saw Om standing in front of him with eyes ready to kill. Om lifted up his hand and back slapped Kali across the face "With me here you dare try to touch her!" Spitting out the blood from his mouth "Touch her?! I will do more than just touch her!!"

Om grabbed Kali by the throat and pinned him against the wall. Struggling for air Kali started to squeeze Om's arm but when that didn't work he started to use both hands to pry off Om's grip on his throat only to realize that it was useless. Kali was starting to lose consciousness when he heard Gauri's voice "Dear Husband...you should calm down...I don't want to wait for him to wake up again. It's too cold down here." Om threw Kali to the side like a rag doll and walks back towards his wife. Taking off his jacket Om gently puts it over Gauri's shivering body. "Better? I can order Khanna to get you a coat." Gauri grabs Om's tie and pulls him closer and as she places her cold lips onto his "Not only is it warm but it also smells like you...no coat can compare." Om's lips hooks up "My wife has been very affectionate with her words lately." Gauri pulls him down to sit next to her "Are you cold? How about telling Khanna to grab you another jacket." When Om was about to tease his wife Kali stood up "WTH do you two want!!! You think you can keep me here!!! You think no one will come looking for me?! I am Kali Thakur!!"

Gauri smiles as she looks at Kali and then shifted her attention back to Om "Can I break it to him?" Om pinches his wife's nose "Knock yourself out. I will sit back and watch the fun." Om gestures for Khanna to come closer "Bring me two glasses and a bottle of wine...we might be down here a while." Khanna nods his head and goes to grab one of the best bottle of red wine because he new that tonight was a special night for his Mistress.

Kali: You better let me go if you two want to live! If I am not back my brothers will turn your city upside down till they find me!

Gauri: Oh? You mean Veer and Vikram? Well you see...I don't think they will be much help to you.

Kali's eyes were like daggers "What do you mean!"

Gauri walks up a bit closer so that she could see Kali's face clearly "Well your brother Veer can't help because he is 6 feet underground and for Vikram....."

Kali tries to come closer to Gauri but once again the chain binding him keeps jerking him back "Vikram!! Where is Vikram!!" Gauri paces slowly back and forth and asks teasingly "Why Mr. Thakur...If I didn't know any better I'd think you care more for Vikram than Veer...and why is that?"

"Stop F*@cking with me and tell me where is Vikram!" Gauri walks over to the wall across from Kali and kicked a man that was laying on the floor "Hey wakey..wakey....someone is looking for you." Kali could hear a man moaning and struggling to sit up since he was also had one hand chained to the wall.

Gauri: How rude of me...let me light up a candle so that you two can see each other better..My Dear Husband should really install more lights down in this dark basement.

Om now leisurely drinking his wine as he watches his wife play with her prey "Whatever you want. I can make it as bright as the morning if you desire."

As Gauri lit up the candle Kali's eyes looked over at the man who was beaten black and blue..he had blood coming out of his crotch area as well as his mouth and when he realize that it was Vikram Kali lost it "Vikram!!! Vikram!!! its me!! Kali!!! Vikram." When Vikram heard Kali's voice his eyes widen and he could be seen trying to yell out but only incoherent moans could be heard.

Gauri softly claps her hands together "Oops I forgot to tell you...Vikram can't answer you."

Kali glares at Gauri "Why?!! What did you do?!"

Gauri: Well you see...when Khanna found Vikram he was do some dirty things to a very very young girl...so he thought it would be fun to ask the little girl how she wanted to punish your so-called perverted brother..and guess what...

Kali frantically yells "WHAT?!"

Gauri walks over closer to Kali "She said his tongue touched all over her body so she asked for Khanna to cut it..but unfortunately that was not the only part she wanted cut...." Gauri's looked towards Kali's crotch

Kali's looked once again at Vikram and realize why blood was dripping from his crotch "Damn You!! I will kill you!!!"

Gauri tilts her head "How? How will you kill me?"

Kali yanks at the chain that was preventing him from ripping Gauri apart with his bare hands.

Gauri: Does he know?

Kali's froze: What are you talking about.

Gauri walks over to Vikram "Do you know that Kali is not your brother?"

Kali could see the confusion in Vikram's eyes "Don't spit out lies! Vikram don't listen to her!"

Gauri smiles at Kali "Look he tries so hard to protect you and yet he didn't even flinch when he heard of Veer's death. And do you want to know why....because he is actually your father.

Vikrams's eyes shifted back and forth between the small woman and Kali. How could Kali be his dad?!!

Gauri: I see you must have a lot of questions..too bad Khanna had to cut out your tongue..but don't worry I will try to answer them. You see your daddy dearest over there...at the age of 18 raped his step-mother and got her pregnant. And when the person who you thought was your dad found out years later..Kali here killed his own father and took over the empire.

Kali: WHO THE HELL TOLD YOU!!

Gauri: Well when someone is staring at death you'd be surprise how many secrets they are willing to spill in order to live.

Kali: Veer....BAstard!

Gauri turns over to Vikram once again "But that's not the secret he wants to hide from you. The secret he wants to hide from you was in order to maintain being your brother and get your respect he had to somehow get rid of your mother.

Vikram's eyes were now gazing straight at Kali.

Gauri: Instead of killing her you know what your daddy dearest did...he made her enter his sex trafficking ring and worked until she died! 100 men a day!..the same sex trafficking business that you are in charge of today. Funny isn't it? You torturing young girls for a living not knowing that your own mother had experience the same. I guess you can say he taught you just to be like him.

Kali froze hearing someone narrate his evil deed that he tried so hard to hide. Even if he was a monster I still did not want his own son to look at them that way. Now looking at Veer who has slumped down onto his knees remembering glimpses of his mother's love. All this time Kali had told him she had died of a rare illness when he was 5.

Gauri: But since I am a nice person I will give you a chance to get your revenge..if you want it.

Kali stares at Gauri "What are you saying?! You are going to have my own son kill me?! You think he would dare?!"

Gauri laughs "Don't worry this will be a fair fight. I will leave one gun with one bullet between you two."

Kali sneers "Whats the point if we are chained and can't get to the damn gun!"

Gauri throws each of them a saw "Here. Whoever gets to the gun first will live if they kill the other...but if you both refuse...My Husband here will kill you both. So to the count of 3."

Kali stammers: Waa..waaa..Wait!

Gauri: One...

Kali sees Vikram pick up the saw and tries to saw off the chain.

Gauri: Two....

Om laughs: The saw given is not mean to saw off the chain.....

Vikram looks at Om in disbelief! He then looks over at his father who could kill his own father after raping HIS mom!! As Vikram tries to saw off his wrist you could hear the painful moans coming out of his tongueless mouth. Kali could not believe that his own flesh and blood would go through these lengths to kill him. Kali takes the saw and with just two motion was able to saw off his own wrist.

Gauri: Three...

Kali grabs the gun but turns it towards Gauri who was only staring back at him. "Are you sure you want to do that?" Gauri asked.

Kali was filled with so much hate and anger he could no longer feel the intense pain he had inflicted upon himself "Die!" click...click...click...Kali kept trying to pull the trigger but nothing was happening. "YOU!!! DAMN YOU!!" As he ran towards Gauri two gunshot rang out and Kali immediately hit the floor. Turning towards the sound Kali could see Om holding a loaded gun and when he looked down both his knee caps were blown to smithereens. Om then stands up and walks over to Vikram who was cowering on the floor. With his gun pointed at Vikram's head and looking at Kali " I don't condone cheating." BANG!

Kali: Vikram!!!!!!!!!

Gauri walks over and bends down to look at Kali's defeated face "How does it feel to have a love one die in front of you? I will make sure the last face you will see on this earth is mine so that even in hell you will forever remember this moment." Gauri stands up and walks over to the candle she previously lit and throws the flame onto Kali "I will finish what my mother couldn't" Kali yelled out in pain as the fire engulfed him. As he tried to roll around on the ground to put out the fire that was burning his flesh Gauri and Om stood by to hear his screams. When he knew he was going to die Kali looked up once more to look at Gauri only to see an image of Jhanvi...Kali wasn't sure if it was due to the flames burning through his eyes or not but in the end the last face that he saw before his death was the one woman who started it all. "Jhanvi...."

As the two walked out of the cell that reeked of burning flesh Om could hear his wife breathe a sigh of relief. "Its finally over."
