We walked for about 5 minutes in the cold and in the snow because Blaze, said that it wouldn't be needed to go with the car to the church and it wasn't if it we were in summertime in California instead we were in the freaking mountains walking in a stone pathway with snow and ice at a 2°F temperature.

I had a fluffy coat but under it just a simple dress not to mention I was in high heels, I just felt like murdering him. At least he helped me to walk through that weird sleepy stone path. I went the whole way with my hands clenched to his arm.

After a long difficult trail, we reached a stone church, it was really beautiful, and seemed to be straight up taken off of a Disney movie.

We entered the big gates and saw the decorations inside, white flower ornaments in each wooden bench and also candles, there was a big white carpet that guided us to the aisle

The stone walls of the church were also decorated with white flower ornaments this looked like "A giant forest" I said the last part not only in my thoughts

"Feels like a bit too much" Blaze agreed

"Hm" I hummed in agreement.

Our small talk was interrupted by an overwhelming happy voice " My son!" Martha exclaimed while taking Blaze out of my grip, and hugging him harshly. He tempted to get out of her embrace by pushing her backward but it seemed no use.

"Mom... Please" he said trying to let her go.

"I missed you"

"It's just been 1 month, mom. It's not that much according to what you're used to" he responded fiercely making her step back with a sad expression.

"Don't say that. You know how I tried to be with you, to cherish you as a good mother does to a son but unfortunately, your dad as always managed to stop me" She defended herself making me roll my eyes... There she goes with that bullshit, that my innocent self fell for on our wedding day, I thought she was a kind soul turnout that's just fake. If she missed him that much why didn't she manage to see him? Because of his father? Yeah right, the love of a mother is so deep that I'm sure she would go through hell just to see if her son was alright, just to stand up in front of her husband for her own son but instead she keeps quiet and lets his father say all those awfully things to him, I can't imagine what it was like for Blaze to live under the same roof as them, a total nightmare I'm sure.

"Yes, let's all blame father" He responded "I am here for the wedding not for family discussions"

"Fine" she said with sad eyes

"By the way I'm sure you have seen Eleonora" He said looking at me, Martha caught my eyes not really interested in saying anything to me, I guess she kept that grudge from the anniversary cake still.

"Ah yes...You're still with my son I see" she commented with disgusted

"I guess that's what people do when they marry" I answered back

"You can sit down, this will start in no time" she said ignoring me and leaving us there

" Your mom gets nicer each time I see her" I commented with a small smile watching her leave

"You give her no rest too" he said while sitting on an empty bench. There were a couple of benches with people but Blaze didn't take the time to say Hello to everyone neither did those people already sat. Instead, they looked at us with shocked expressions and started murmuring between each other.

"Don't blame me" I implied

"I am not" He explained "I said that you give her no rest. You respond to her exactly as someone should. I am not blaming I am in fact congratulating you for your attitude"

" I think it's the first time you say something nice" I realized

" Don't be dramatic"

I sat down in the wooden bench near him and analyzed the shocked faces that looked at us. "You have fans"

"It's normal. They haven't seen me in 7 years or so and now I am a multimillionaire and I have a wife. A big change I think."

"Why? Because your business turned out well...?"

"No because I settle down and someone is willing to spend their life with me" He explained making a warm smile rise in my cheeks

"Are you seen so negatively?"

"Thanks to my father, yes" he answered I nodded in understanding and tried to ignore the murmurs and the small look at us. Not long after there was music playing, Damien entered in a dark blue suit and walked to the aisle greeting everyone nearby.

"It's starting" I noticed when everyone stood up and Sarah appeared into view in a white dress her hand around an old man which I presume to be her father and in front of them a man was guiding her through the carpet and also making signs for the people on the bench to stand up.

"Should we-?" I tried to ask but Blaze was fast enough to answer

"No" so while everyone stood up we we were quietly sat down waiting for them to sit back again so we could see the aisle

When she got in the aisle, the man ordered again for everyone to sit. He explained Sarah and Damien the places where they should stay along with the priest that was bashing the white cloaked table.

"Is this really necessary? It's not that hard..." I commented as the priest started his dialogue

"Mistakes are intolerable for an event like this in this family" Blaze explained

"Thank God you didn't invite them to ours..." I commented "Doing it twice would be the death of me"

"Should I feel hurt?" He questioned sarcastically

"If you had any feelings I guess"

"Great I don't... according to my wife." He mentioned I raised my eyebrow and cautiously took a look at him, he was looking at the front with a smug on

"What?"

"According to her I'm a cold heartless bastard" he joked

"I didn't say that" I defended but his eyes caught mine and his expression turned into a ' are you sure?' one "Fine... I may have said that once..." his looks penetrated my soul "Fine... more than once"

After the priest spoke, Sarah and Damien exchanged their vows...Damien first, read the paper he was holding in his hands. There it goes the surprise factor.

"Do you remember the very first day that we met? I knew the very first moment I saw you. I knew we were meant to be together for all of our days. You have become my lover, my companion, and my best friend. There's no one else I'd want to build a life with. I get to have you by my side, my love, and my wife, for eternity" Damien spoke his voice seemed shaky I guess he truly meant those words

"Love at first sight" I heard Blaze comment with a laugh

"A non-believer?" I asked with a smirk

"Love at first sight is just attraction, not real love" he explained, I was surprised at his words

"I presume you know what love is?"

"Whatever that means" he answered simply. I looked to the aisle and Sarah took a paper and read it out too.

"I don't understand shouldn't the vows be like... I don't know a surprise?" I asked

"Traditionally, yes" he answered back

"Tomorrow when they say it again it won't feel like it's real... It's just..weird" I commented

"The perfect event has its own sacrifices" he said

"It's like saying it twice and everybody knows what they are going to say. I wouldn't do that when if it had to be cautiously rehearsed I wouldn't tell my vows" I commented thinking how stupid this idea was

"You can relax, you didn't need the vows at our wedding"

"Thank God they would be full of hatred" I said quickly

He looked at me and I felt my skin burn "How lovely"

"Do you prefer me to lie?" I asked catching his eyes

"Never. I don't like lies" he said quickly looking to the bride and groom. I stopped for a moment taking in his features he looked so peaceful, it's funny whenever we are at events like these we are able to talk to each other I wouldn't say like a real couple but like some sort of friends I guess, it's nice to talk to him like that, I am always myself around him and I guess he doesn't cover his true colors when around me. For some reason, in this occasions, I feel closer to him than when we are both at home, when we don't talk and act like strangers.

Those thoughts vanished from my mind when I took a look at Sarah and heard her vows

"I'm madly in love with you, my husband. Not only do I promise that my love for you will grow with each day, but I promise to be your friend and partner every step of the way. I will be there for you, day or night, in richer or poorer, in sickness and in health. I trust, appreciate, cherish, and respect you. I promise to share with you my hopes and dreams as we build our lives together. You, my love, are my everything." She cried by the end

"That's a lot of love" I whispered "almost looks like she is being forced"

"forced to make us believe she loves him" he commented again. I laughed at his comment, Blaze has been very talkative... Always dissing people with me, I seriously like this Blaze.

About an hour or so later the wedding rehearsal ended and people started to congratulate them, while Blaze and I tried to move outside and leave the church, unfortunately, we were caught in the middle of the church.

"Oh my, you showed up" An irritating high pitched voice said

"She said that we would," Blaze said mentioning my previous words

"Did you like our vows?" She asked with a forced smile on

"I guess" I commented

"Sort of" Blaze commented

"You are a tough crowd hum?" She commented with an awkward laugh "You married not too long ago and you had one of the best weddings ever...all magazines around the world talked about your dress for over a month" She told me, that's actually new information to me because I didn't focused a lot on my dress that first month I was more worried about keeping my job and being able to not murder Blaze.

I guess she has also keeping an eye on me... Even before we met "I'm sure your dress will be beautiful tomorrow" I said hoping she would just let us go

"of course, it will" She stated as if it was a fact, and I could sense a bit of bitterness in that phrase

"Should we head to the hotel?" Blaze asked, also desperate to leave

"Yes we should" Sarah said smiling

"Hello brother" Damien said coming into view "What a beauty you have there. Hello Mrs.Maxwell, you're looking ravishing tonight" he smirked eyeing me up and down, the way he talked was so careless and disgusting it sickened me and made me feel nauseous

Blaze had seemed to notice this discomfort and grabbed me by my hip pulling me close. He held right on the fur of my coat and looked at Damien with threatening eyes "Don't overstep the mark"

"Look at him all protective" Damien joked "Relax bro, I'm getting married tomorrow I won't be a problem anymore" he said in an overly exaggerated sarcastic tone, this seemed to be some sort of inside joke or should I say inside threat that Damien knew for some reason that infuriated Blaze, however Blaze like always, didn't care to respond or to show any hurt feelings towards his brothers stupid attempts of teasing or whatever he called that.

"We should be going" Blaze said, quickly grabbing my hand making my cheeks flush in surprise and pulled me with him

They probably said their goodbyes but Blaze walked so fast from them that I couldn't even hear them. His pace was quicker and I was struggling to keep up, these heels were no help at all. "Hey. Calm down" I said but he kept pushing through the small snow and stone pathway in direction of the hotel

"You know I'm in heels" I acknowledged him... But it was useless

"BLAZE!" I exclaimed making him stop in his tracks and scarcely take a look at me

"What?" he asked

"What's going on?" I asked trying to understand his actions

"What?"

"You just ran out of the church and pushed me along with you... And I'm in heels" I explained "What the hell happened back there?"

"Nothing" he responded taking a look at my shoes

"Nothing?" He extended his arms so I could support myself on him since he realized I was afraid of falling into that icy pathway "My brother he...he knows how to get to me" he told me, well that was progress I think, talking and explain something to me

" Well even if he does don't show him that. Your attitude will only increase his happiness" I told him while grabbing his arms "Behave as if it doesn't even reach you"

"I used to do that, for some reason today... I broke, I cared for his words" he explained and I could understand the frustration in his voice

"You will do better, it was just a small fail" I said trying to shake it off

"I don't fail" he commented frustrated

"Forget that, and help me walk to the hotel without me breaking my shoe or my leg" I said holding tight to his arm, it seemed to have some effect on him since he drove his other hand to hold mine which was clenched into his arms.

I think he vanished at this moment from him, I hope he did. We still have a lot to deal with.
