•Ch.2•

"Wow April, it's your lucky day! Jack is coming for a visit in a few days!" Mark said sarcastically shaking me a little.

"That's great Mark." I replied in a monotone voice. "You're not excited for Jack to come over? Wow, wait until I tell him!" Mark laughed. "Oh and by the way, I already knew." I boasted.

"How?" Mark asked. "Signe told me." "Oh yeah, forgot you have her phone number." Mark sighed. "Way to ruin the surprise!"

Then, my phone started vibrating in my pocket. I looked at the name, it was Signe.

"Hey Signe!" I said cheerfully as I picked up. "Hey April, I know this is a little last minute, but I can't make it to L.A." She sighed heavily. "What? Why?" I asked. "Stuff came up. Sean can still go, but I can't." I let out a long heavy sigh. "Alright, well there's always next time." I smiled, even though she couldn't see me. "That's true." Signe chuckled a little. "Well, bye April!" "Bye Signe!" I hung up and put my phone back in my pocket.

"What did she say?" Mark asked. "She can't make it. Jack can still come, but she can't." I answered. "Oh, why?" Mark raised an eyebrow. "Stuff just came up." I let out a little sigh. "Hey, when's Amy coming back again?"

"Two weeks."

I nodded. "Well graphic design isn't easy."

"Nope, it isn't." Mark grunted before pushing himself off the couch and heading somewhere else. "Hey where are you going Mark?" I asked. "To record some videos." Mark replied before opening the door, and disappearing into the darkness.

"Hey I'm gonna go out for a bit!" I shouted at Mark before he could close the door completely. "Alright, go ahead." Mark replied before he clicked the door shut.

I grabbed my phone, house keys, and my wallet and headed to Starbucks.

...

When I got there, I immediately saw that there was a huge line. I sighed and stepped in line.

After a few minutes, I heard a familiar voice calling my name. "Hey! April over here!" The voice called.

I looked around until I made eye contact with a girl smiling and waving at me. Wait, I remember her! It's my friend Jenna from high school!

I gave her a smile and waved back. "I'll be over after I get my order." I whisper-shouted. She gave me a thumbs up and I continued to focus on the line that was in front of me.

...

"Hey Jenna!" I smiled as I sat down across from her at her table. "It's been so long." She laughed. "Yeah it has." I nodded. "Hey how's Tyler by the way? You still with him?"

"Tyler's good." She nodded. "We're actually married now."

"That's amazing!" I beamed. "Do you have a boyfriend at all?" She asked. "Eh, no." I replied. "Oh come on, you haven't had a boyfriend since tenth grade! Someone must've asked you out by low! I mean who wouldn't?" Jenna smiled widely.

I laughed and smiled as well. That's how I remember Jenna, she could always make me laugh and smile when I needed it. But after high school we went our separate ways.

"Nah. I'd have to disagree." I replied. "Don't think like that." Jenna slapped my arm playfully. "Anyways, uh how's your brother, Mark? He famous yet like he always said he would?" Jenna asked, sarcasm being applied at the end.

"Yes actually." I smiled. Jenna looked me with wide eyes. "What?"

"Yeah. He has millions of fans." I started to tear up thinking about Mark's success. "How come I've never heard of him?!" She asked.

"Well, he's actually a YouTuber known to millions as Markiplier. I know you probably don't watch YouTube that much." I explained.

"That name does sound familiar." Jenna nodded. "But yeah, I don't watch much YouTube. Tyler does though, maybe I can ask him if he's ever heard of him."

"Cool." I chuckled. I then realized the shirt I was wearing, and nervously laughed. "You're probably super confused about my shirt, huh?"

Jenna nodded. "I didn't want to point it out, but since you mentioned it first I'm gonna ask about it." Jenna replied.

"Well, to put it short, there's another YouTuber Jacksepticeye and he's best friends with Mark. And I also get all the merchandise that I want from his other YouTuber friends." I explained. "Hope that made sense, to be honest I barely understand what I said." I laughed.

"No I understand." Jenna replied. "Is he Irish? With green hair and screams a lot?"

I nodded. "That's him alright." "Yeah I recognize that name. Tyler likes to blast his videos early in the morning. He says it wakes him up."

"Well, that would do it." I laughed. "Hey, we should keep in touch, do you live around here?" I asked. "Yes actually!" Jenna replied cheerfully. "Here, let's exchange phone numbers."

We exchanged phone numbers and continued to talk.

...

"Oh, Mark just texted me. I've gotta get going." I sighed standing up. "Oh, that's fine." Jenna replied. "Have fun!" She waved. "You too!" I smiled waving back, then exiting the building.

"Hey Mark, why'd you text me?" I asked as I walked through the door. "Oh nothing. I just got lonely." Mark laughed. "Go play with Chica." I suggested. "Chica can't talk, now can she?"
"No she can talk, you just can't understand what she's saying."
"Touché..."
"Hey Mark, I met up with Jenna at Starbucks." I said. "Oh really? That's cool." Mark replied. "Yeah, it is." I sighed a bit. Then my phone buzzed.

Jenna: Hey, your brother's friend Jack reminds me of Tyler's best friend Josh
April: Oh really? Why, he dyes his hair too?
Jenna: Bingo
April: Can you send me a picccc? I'm curious now!
Jenna: Yeah hold on a sec
Jenna: Here's a pic of them together
