"So we all need to decide who will be Mark's most prominent trait this year." Dark spoke up from the end of the oval shaped conference table all of Mark's egos were gathered at.
"And by decide, you mean kill each other with stabby objects." Wilford chimed in gleefully.
"We're not killing anyone. Besides, I'm a doctor, I know what's best." Dr. Iplier interjected.
"Then what's best?" Silver Shepherd spoke up curiously.
"Obviously I should be Mark's most prominent trait with my want to help his fans." Dr. Iplier stated as if the answer was obvious.
"I do too except with his friends!" Silver Shepherd reminded him.
"Yet you both deviate from our primary objective by completing your tasks in an incorrect fashion." Google added.
"Like having a glitch bitch like you would be any better, you're just his want to always improve and never be forgotten by the world." Bim Trimmer scoffed.
"And what's wrong with that?" Google frowned.
"You want to kill mankind, I'm pretty sure that counts as wrong." Dr. Iplier remarked.
"That sounds pretty fun to me." Wilford grinned mischievously, twirling his pistol in his hand.
"What do you propose then?" Google huffed in irritation, ignoring the pink mustached ego.
"It should be me! After all, I am Bim Trimmer." The suited ego declared cockily.
"You're his pride and never ending ego, I don't think you could provide much for him. But I am selling my son if there's any takers." Edgar chimed in.
"Does anyone have anything actually helpful to provide?" Dark sighed in exasperation.
"I'm king of the squirrels." The royal ego stated as he poked his head into the room briefly before leaving.
"Whatever, just let me take over." Wilford cut in impatiently.
"The story then shifts to talk about the Host, who is Mark's trait that predicts the possible outcomes of his future and determines what's best despite the fact that he causes him to have waking nightmares or become anxious." The Host speaks up.
"So who is in control?" Dark snapped, returning focus to him.
"Let's say we have a couple of challenges to prove our worth." Silver Shepherd decided.
"What would that entail?" Google questioned the hero.
"We could each control Mark for a day, and whoever does the best gets to stay in control." Bim suggested.
"The Host knows that it won't be easy and that Jack is involved in the plot since his egos are in the next room over." The Host stated.
Soon enough, Anti appeared in the room behind Dark with his knife in hand, pressing it against the other demon's throat.
"Hello again Anti." Dark replied cooly.
"Howdy Darki, whatcha up to?" Anti giggled maniacally.
"We're deciding who should be in control of Mark." Edgar told him.
"I'm also selling my son if you're interested, he's like really cheap." Edgar added hopefully.
"Perhaps we can help each other." Anti mused as he took the silver blade off of Dark's neck.
"How so?" Dr. Iplier inquired skeptically.
"I heard your plan, and I think we should do the same and meet together." Anti advised eagerly.
"How would we get them to meet?" Dark asked.
"Simple, Jack's coming to visit Mark soon. Then each of us egos can take turn controlling our puppets and determine who is best, and we can judge each other." Anti explained.
"That would be the best course of action." Google agreed.
"But which of us will start?" Bim interjected.
"Why doesn't Wilford and Jameson pair up first?" Anti suggested.
There was a chorus of agreements from Mark's egos, confirming the decision.
"Then it's decided. Have fun Will," Dark nodded as he stood up.
"He won't be yours for long."
