"Is your new idea to turn Schneeplestien into a vampire Marvin?" Robin scoffed, his voice dripping heavily with sarcasm.
"No, this is something I haven't done in a long while...something I've learned from a friend to use only in emergencies like this." Marvin explained, his tone serious much to your surprise.
"I have to go. Whatever either of you do, don't follow me in, no matter what." Marvin told you and Robin sternly before shutting himself into Jack's recording room.
"What do we do now?" You wondered aloud, glancing at an equally confused Robin.
"I'm afraid I don't know, he's being rather mysterious." Robin admitted reluctantly with a long, slow sigh of frustration that made him sound years older.
"Marvin, what the hell are you doing?!" You shouted as you banged on the door, unable to open it since he had locked it.
Marvin slammed the door open with an irritated growl as he dragged you inside before locking the door behind you to keep Robin out.
"Just shut the fuck up and stand over there if you're so insistent about pestering me while I try to save our asses. Don't bother me while I work, or I swear..." Marvin trailed off as he sat down on the floor by Schneep's body, leaving the empty threat hanging ominously in the air.
"What are you doing anyway?" You spoke up curiously, ignoring his previous statement as you stood in the back of the room.
"I'm going to try and communicate with the spirits of the guests that have died here, they should have the answers I'm seeking." Marvin huffed impatiently as he retrieved a deck of cards from his pocket and shuffled them absent mindlessly.
"They should?" You repeated skeptically.
"Look, I don't know what else to do! If you come up with a better plan, I'm all ears!" Marvin snapped furiously, tossing his cards in front of him next to a bowl full of contents you couldn't identify.
Candles were lined around him in a circle, their flickering orange flames reflecting off of Marvin's white mask.
You fell silent as he continued his shuffling of cards, hoping you would be free from the nightmare you were trapped in soon.
Marvin wordlessly took the murder weapon from Schneep's limp hand and delicately pressed the blade against his wrist with enough force to cause a drop of blood to appear on his snow white skin, making sure it dripped into the bowl before he pulled his arm back.
Three cards were lined up in front of him, all currently face down so you couldn't see what was on them.
As he closed his pale blue eyes, the cards lying in front of him glowed a pale green and flipped over, illuminating the faces on them.
On each card was a detailed picture of each guest that had died, one half with them looking like they were happy, and the other showing an illustration of how they died.
Schneeplestien with a slit throat and tears in his eyes.
Chase by falling down the stairs, his mouth wide open in a silent scream of terror.
Jack by who knows what, his body splayed out on the ground with black lines covering his eyes.
Which person's ghost will Marvin attempt to communicate with to find answers?
You guys choose.
(Robbie's card isn't there since he's technically alive. Your choice affects how story will end, either happily, or with more questions than answers. I won't give anything away however😈).
