Alive
Since it was afternoon, everyone gathered to eat in the kitchen at the grand table, yet few of the guests actually ate.
You shoved your plate away from you without touching the sandwich Robin had prepared specially for you, feeling nauseas instead of hungry.
"Vhy are you not eating? You have to keep your strength."
You looked next to you to see Schneep sit beside you with a plate in hand, a grilled chicken sandwich sitting on top.
"Its just...I keep thinking about Jack, and keeping wondering if someone in this room did it." You admitted with a sigh.
"I see zhat I'm not zhe only one wondering zhis." Schneep replied as he picked up his food and took a big bite.
You reluctantly are your food to satiate the doctor before going to the couch in the living room and flopping down onto it.
You didn't realize how tired you were until your eyes began drooping, exhaustion abruptly taking hold.
"Wake up!"
After what felt like two seconds you were startled awake by Marvin the magician.
"There's been another one." He told you quietly, yet he didn't seem too upset much to your concern as he guided you to the nearest victim that was located outside on the doorstep.
Robbie.
His neck was slit as well, the same knife Jack had been holding now placed in his hands.
"Well this makes my job easier then." Marvin remarked.
"What do you mean?" You interjected with a confused frown.
Marvin didn't answer as he scooped up the body and disappeared upstairs before anyone could stop him, locking himself into the guest bedroom.
"Damnit!" Chase cursed furiously, kicking the wall.
"Don't vorry, I can take care of zhis." Schneep promised him reassuringly.
"Robbie and Jack are fucking dead! How can you all be so damn calm about it?!" Chase snapped in rage, tears rapidly welling up in his eyes.
"Because I've seen many deaths in my ER, I've been trained to not react, to pretend I didn't fail them and move on. I have to do the same for Robbie and for Sean, or I'll never forgive myself." Schneep answered in a dangerously cold tone.
"You shouldn't forgive yourself." Chase countered bitterly.
Chase didn't back down as he glared the doctor in the eyes before storming off, his footsteps echoing loudly inside.
"You should go inside as vell, I must investigate here." Schneep instructed in a softer tone tinged with remorse and exhaustion, motioning for you to leave.
You did as he wanted and sat back down on the couch, remembering the last night you had spent with Jack while everything was perfect.
While he was still alive.
You snapped out of your thoughts when you heard a yell from upstairs, deciding to go investigate since no one else seemed to care.
As soon as you arrived in front of the guest bedroom, the door swung open to reveal a familiar face that was much paler and bloodier than the last time you saw them.
"I did it! Necromancy at last!" Marvin cheered victoriously as you stared into the face of Robbie, a spark of recognition lighting up in his lifeless pale blue eyes.
"Robbie zombie," Robbie began, gesturing to himself.
"Robbie help." Robbie decided with a goofy grin.
"So tell us Robbie," Marvin spoke up.
"Do you know who killed you?"
