"Mark!" You yelled excitedly from the bathroom. "Big news!"

"What?" Your fiancée yelled, running in from the living room.

"Y/F/N's dog had her puppies!" You showed him the picture of the little animals.

"They're so cute!"

"She says we can come visit them in a few weeks once their eyes have opened."

So nearly a month an a half later, you both had cleared schedules to drive over to Y/F/N's house to see the puppies. Inside the house, you were led over to a large dog bed with the mom and six puppies laying inside.

"They're so cute!" You squealed, cuddling one up to your face.

"I'm in heaven." Mark commented, one in each hand.

The puppy you had yawned, and you couldn't help but 'aww' at the adorable noise. The biggest pup of the litter climbed up on Mark's lap, and licked his leg.

"I think this ones likes me." He laughed.

"You guys can take one home if you want, once they're completely weaned." Y/F/N offered. "We really don't need eight dogs in the house."

"Please, Y/N." Mark pouted, holding the big puppy close to his chest. "Pleasepleaseplease?"

You sighed, biting your lip. "I think that'd be too many little ones to take care of."

"Little ones? We just have Chica! I think we could handle two puppies."

"What about two puppies and a baby?"

"What?" He looked at you in disbelief, then down at your stomach. "Really?"

"Yes, you're going to be a dad."

Mark gently set the puppies down before walking over to hug you. "I can't wait."
