Scenario :

Long ago there was a handsome prince named dark who lived in a magnificent castle. He had everything his heart desired but he was greedy, selfish and unkind. He threw lavish parties and taxed the villagers in order to fill his castle with the most beautiful things made entirely of gold. One stormy night during a party a begger appeared seeking shelter from the bitter storm, in return she offered dark a single red rose. Repulsed by her hideous appearance he turned her away but she warned him not to be repulsed by appearance for beauty is found within. When he turned her away again, the woman's hideous appearance melted away to reveal a beautiful enchantress. Dark begged for forgiveness but it was too late as she had seen there was no love or kindness in his heart. As punishment she turned dark into a hideous beast and placed a spell on the castle and all who lived there. She also erased all memory of the castle and  servants from the minds of the people they loved but the rose she gave dark was truly enchanted. She told dark that if he could learn to love and be kind to someone and earn their love and kindness in return by the time the last petal fell from the rose, the spell would be broken. If he didn't, he'd remain a beast forever. In time dark and his servants were forgotten by the world and as the years passed dark fell into despair and lost all hope.... For who could learn to love a beast? It would take a miracle or perhaps a certain villager....
