Unedited

Mark's POV
I sighed as I slammed my locker, pushing my round glasses to my face as I took the books I needed for today's class, and my storybook.

I clutched the storybook close to me as I squeezed through the crowds, attempting to attract less attention as I possibly can.

I don't know why, but people loves to flirt with me, girls and even boys.

I mean, I'm not that attractive...

As I was almost through the crowds, I noticed some boys were looking at me, winking as they licked their lips.

I rolled my eyes, nothing new here.

I ignored them as I continued made my way to the class, and smiled when I finally reach it.

I open the door to find I was one of the few people here. I mean, I'm not surprised, I'm always early.

I sat at my place, which was the back on the corner, and opened my book as I started reading, my surroundings became more quieter than usual.

As I was reading, I hadn't noticed that the other students had came in and began filling up the once empty chairs, sitting down as they began to do their stuff.

I ignored them though, too focused on my book to pay attention to anything else.

Soon enough, I heard a slam and I looked up, seeing as our teacher had come.

"Alright students! Fun times over, take out your textbook or I'll beat your ass!" Our teacher boomed, and there was a few laughters here and there.

I softly hummed, sliding in my bookmark on the page I was reading as I closed it, putting it beside me as I took out my textbook as I flipped to the instructed page as I put the book up, putting my storybook in front of me as I continued reading.

The world around me was once quiet again as I was once plunged it into the world of storybooks, not focusing on the outside world.

"Mark Edward Fischbach!" My teacher voice boomed, and I slightly yelped, looking up at him as he stared at me.

"Put your book down, and answer the question 21"

Shit.

I stealthily put my book in between my lap as I scanned the question, standing up with the book in between my legs.

"Uh...take square root 25 and divided it by square root 9 and the answer is 2.777777..."

The teacher hummed, looking at me as he nodded, motioning for me to sit down.

"Correct. You may sit down and don't put your book up again.."

I nodded, sitting down and put the book in my drawer, opening my marked page.

Ain't nobody gonna stop me from reading my book..

Before I could even read the first letter, the door slid open and everyone went quiet, but I quietly groaned.

I swear if it was the principal...

But when I turned my head, my eyes widen. A man in a formal attire and grey skin, black floof and his hand behind his back walked in, his side facing me.

He slowly walked in the class, his shoes clicking as he walked to the front of the class, stopping in front of the teacher table as he turned on his heels, a smirk on his face.

"I'm looking for a certain someone..." His voice was deep like butter and smooth like silk. His eyes were a piercing red and he wore eyeshadow, scanning the class

I quickly shrank under my book, putting the book in my face as I continued reading.

There was a long pause of silence, before I hear his voice booming again.

"You, over there, with the book covering your face, put the book down.."

Is he talking to me?

I bet his talking to me.

I slowly pulled my book down, stopping it right below my eye and just as I thought, he was staring at me

"I want the book all the way down, now."

And again, slowly. I pulled my book down so he can see my face, and his smirk widen as he started walking towards my direction, slowly

My eyes widen, as I stared at him, my body too scared to move.

He was soon in front of me, staring my soul with his scarlet eyes, smirking toothily.

"Your the one....."

"Wait, wha-?"

Before I could even process what was happening, the grey dude put a hand on my head as he slowly stroked my hair, his eyes never leaving mine.

I looked at him, confused, until I felt my eyes getting heavier and heavier, and I realized what he was doing, but it was too late.

I struggled to fight it but it was no use, and as my eyelids got heavier and heavier, I took one more glance at the smirking man before my eyelids closed completely.

(I know, a shitty way to do it but I'm brain dead so,eh)

Time skip~
I groaned as my eyes slowly fluttered opened, blinking a few times before scanning my surroundings, noticing I was in an unfamiliar place.

I started to panic a little as I stood up but sat back down again, noticing that there were chains on my hands.

What the shit?!

Wait....

Where's my (phone) book?! (#jumanjirefrences)

I look around frantically, but couldn't find my book. I bit my lip as I looked around the room but I still couldn't find it.

I was reading it halfway, goddamnit!

But, I couldn't really see as the room was quite dark, only one working bulb and it's about to die as well, the bulb flickering every now and then.

Maybe that grey dude put it in the darkest corner?

As I was still grieving over my book, the door to this room opened, and I groaned, flinching my eyes from the sudden brightness.

"Ah, your awake, finally. Took you a while.." A voice said, their voice deep and smooth.

Sounds familiar...

I blinked, adjusting to the light, before turning my attention back towards the speaker.

Standing in front of me is the grey dude from before, his hands clasped behind his back as his scarlet eyes was fixed on me, smirking.

"Where am I?" I asked, looking at him.

Is it weird that I'm not afraid at all?

The grey dude raised an eyebrow "you're in my basement, darling.."

"Oh, okay.."

Oh wait, that reminds me.

"Uh...if you don't mind...Can....I....have my book back?" I asked hopefully and he looked at me, his eyes gleaming as he grinned.

"Why don't have a change of life? Like try not to read that book of yours and see the world in my perspective?"

What the hell, man? I just want my book back :(

"What do you mean by that?"

He grinned wider which made me a tad uneasy, but I shrugged it off, continuing staring at him.

He then walked towards me, his shoes clicking, the sound echoing everywhere, making me feel imitated.

I slightly shrunk back, looking at him, suddenly feeling fear creeping up on me.

He walked until he was in front of me, crouching down so we were on eye level, looking at me.

"Now, I'm going to get you out from these chains, and don't try anything funny, got it?" I nodded quickly and he smirked, taking the key out as he unlocked the chains.

As he was busy unlocking the chains, I looked in front of me, which was my escape. I squinted my eyes as I saw something in the doorway and my eyes widen.

It's my book...

I bit my lip, darting from the book to the grey dude.

I should really ask him name than keep calling him grey dude.

"W-What's your name..?"

He looked up at me and smirked, leaning a little closer.

"Why?"

I bit my lip, my eyes darting everywhere but him, and I heard him chuckled, bringing my attention to him.

"Name's Dark...how about you?"

"M-mark..."

I saw his smirked widen but I didn't question, looking down at the chains.

As he finally unlocked it, he stood up and mention for me to do so, so I did, slowly, my attention now focused on my book.

Is this a trick?

I clenched my fist, trying my hardest not to run to my book, but failed miserably as I felt my legs starting to move by itself, running towards my book as I picked it up and sure thing it was my book and a smile crept up to my face.

"What did I say about running?"

Shit. I should've known.

"I...uh..." Words couldn't form, and I felt completely paralysed as Dark came closer to me with that smirk on his face, the clicking of his shoes taunting, mocking me.

Fuck.

Dark was soon in front of me, smirking as the pad of his thumb started caressing my cheek gently, like a mother to their child.

But his not my mother, fuck him.

Yet, I couldn't find myself flinching away or slapping his hand away. It's like his hand has a effect on me.

"Your cute when your scared..." He cooed, and I felt my face heat up as I looked at him, taking a step back.

Dark noticed this as he took another step closer to me, snapping his fingers as I felt the door slam shut, and I yelped in surprise.

"But you'll be cuter in the outfit your about to wear..."

I gulped, looking at him and he smirked, leaning close to my ear.

"Let's see if you can last the night...."

And done, a little cliffhanger but eh.

And also...
