Vik POV

After Lachlan explained,

I grabbed him and hugged him tight,

I whispered in his ear,

"I missed you Lachy."

"I missed you too Vikky."

I snuggled into his side wrapping my arms around his chest,

"So who is going next?"

Jerome questioned,

I looked around,

Nobody really looked that keen,

"I could give it a shot."

I raised my hand,

Everyone nodded,

"L-Lachlan could you know...um...help me ya know."

I mumbled,

"Sure Vik!"

He replied cheerfully,

I waved to the others,

As me and Lachlan decided to go back to where he ended up,

We just walked there peacefully,

Until I heard a 'squawk' sound,

I jumped and feel on top of Lachlan,

"Sorry.."

I jumped up and leant a hand for him to hold,

"It's alright."

He smiled cheerfully,

Everything he's been through here, but yet he still never fails to make me smile, that's what I love about him,

"Hey Vik."

I snapped out of my day dream as Lachlan addressed me,

"Y-Yeah"

"Do you want to hold my hand, I-I don't know if that would help but just if you need to...you know hold something...I thought it might-"

I grabbed his hand, cutting him off,

"T-Thanks"

"N-No problem."

We both looked away shyly,

Lachlan finally looked up,

"This is it!"

I looked to see a clearing of trees, the light was at the perfect angle, Lachlan's blue eyes lit up in the sunshine,

This is the first time I've seen his eyes in the actual sun,

They looked beautiful, everything about him is handsome and kind and-

"Earth to Vik? Are you okay?"

I blinked a few times,

"O-Oh I'm fine."

I reassured,

"So what do I do?"

"Well I just cleared my mind and set my task ahead, it might be different for others though...I wasn't probably the best choice to bring, you should of brought Preston or Rob, they have something similar."

"B-But I-I wanted to come with you."

He smiled and looked into my eyes, I stared into his bright blue energy filled eyes, kind but strong, it just made my heart flutter, why am I feeling this way? I know he's my soul mate and all but...I'm still really young,

"Well let's get to work then, let's figure this out together."

Lachlan decided,

"I'd like that."

I replied,

"So what makes the wind blow, the clouds form?"

"Balance?"

"The balance of the world! Maybe if you can find the balance in yourself you might be able to control it!"

"I-I could try."

"That's the spirit!"

I sat down on the grass, crossing my legs, and focusing on my breath,

In..

Out..

In..

"I CAN'T DO IT!"

"Yes you can Vik I believe in you!"

I believe in you..

I closed my eyes and focused on the air around me, the trees blowing, the clouds forming, a lightning strike coming from that cloud,

I heard a loud 'crack' in the sky,

My eyes flicked open to see a tree burnt down, small flames lingering on the branches,

"D-Did I do that?"

"YOU DID IT VIKKY I ALWAYS KNEW YOU COULD!"

Lachlan cheered,

"Thanks for believing in me."

I thanked him,

"It's what I'm here for."

He winked and then clicked his tongue and snapped his fingers,

I chuckled,

I guess there is really a thing such as soul mates...
