Vik POV

The Poofless power couple came back, Preston with a small lit flame licking at his palm,

I shivered trying to hold my body for warmth but nothing was seeming to take effect,

I looked around to see everyone but Preston, Rob and Mitch shivering,

Mitch had his huge wings wrapped around him, snuggling into them for warmth,

I wanted to try and make the wind stop but I don't want to accidentally do something that could hurt someone, 

I grabbed a couple sticks that were on the ground,

I threw them into the middle, and into a clump,

"Hey Preston! You mind?"

I asked pointing to the sticks,

Preston shook his head clicking his fingers a flame arising from the earth,

Catching fire to the sticks and setting ablaze,

We all crowed around the fire rubbing out hands together trying to keep warm,

"Do you want to try to train in the morning?"

I asked the group,

"YES!"

I got a chorus of replies,

I got a yes from everyone so I nodded,

I continued to get heat from the flames, it was hot but not burning,  watched as the flames flickered, growing bigger and smaller with every passing moment,

"Well I'm gonna hit the hay guys, night."

I waved and grabbed a few leaves and threw them onto the ground curling up into a ball,

"Vik you must be freezing out here!"

Lachlan came and sat by my side,

"I don't want to disturb your conversations if I snore."

"What about I sleep here with you so you can keep a little bit warmer, sound good?"

I nodded,

Lachlan snuggled into my side, my body heat rising to a normal level,

I snuggled into his chest,

"Night Icky Sticky."

"Night Lil Lachy."

As my eyes closed and formed darkness around me,

I heard a faint whisper,

"I love you Vik."
