Lachlan POV

The main guard opened the cell door, I slowly backed away from him, not wanting something to happen to me or Vik,

He pushed the door open making it bang against the iron bars,

As he slowly approached me, quickly putting the cuffs on, and dragging me out of the cell, he then grabbed another pair of cuffs,

I immediately saw what he was doing, and then I remembered,

I'm fast,

I took off down the hallway, everything moving in slow motion,

I swivelled back around and hit the cuffs against the side of the wall, they smashed into pieces,

I'm guessing with the high speed I was going at it stood no chance,

I let my arms draw me over to Vik, the guards had left them unattended, trying to get someone to lock me up again,

But if I have a chance to get out with my friends I will take it, even if I get caught,

Vik just was standing there in shock, I grabbed his hand and brought him close to my chest, looking up toward the entrance to see my chance,

I sprinted him outside, and got back to the others finding a lose pair of keys hanging up,

I quickly unlocked the cages, grabbing Preston and Rob and running back outside so they could join Vik,

I picked up Jerome in my arms, realising fast that I needed to get Mitch separately as his wings would stop me from going at the speeds I need too, to get out and not get caught,

I rushed Jerome outside,

Picking up Mitch in my arms, and running him outside,

They had all started running down the street,

But I turned back, the girl was still in there,

After she had woken up after the guards ran away,

I rushed to her cage,

"Cmon we are getting out of here."

"NO! IM STAYING HERE!"

"But.."

"I'm not going with you, you freaks will die to my hand I swear, they have me for a reason and I'm not throwing it away, go have fun with your going away party cause I will be there to crash it soon enough." She smirked,

"GET HIM!" I heard someone shout

I flicked my head to the side to see an army of guards coming my way,

I took no time to start sprinting out of the currently closing door,

The door now a few inches from the ground I effortlessly slid through underneath it and it made a thud sound after it shut,

I eventually caught up to the others who surprisingly had got pretty far, but exhausted,

I panted for breath,

"Lachy you did it, we are free." Vik hugged me,

"All in this together am I right?"

Vik nodded everyone else soon following,

"Guys it's just us now, we have to train and control our powers all by ourselves, and I have a feeling that it won't be the last we see of them."

I looked back from the direction we had just came from,

Time to train..

Sooooo yep I just did that + longer chapter hype! And I'm trying to make it up to you guys for Litterly not updating for an entire week and I'm sorry just needed to watch my OG shows but hope the longer chapter makes up for a bit of it!
