Before I start this I just want to say thank you all so freaking much for 1K reads, already? This book only has 13 published parts and the first chapter had roughly  150+ reads that's insane! Now READ!

It was dark, pitch black in fact.

No light shone through anywhere,

I looked down to see,

Flames

Liking at my fingers and engulfing me into them,

But then light flooded my vision,

I bolted upright seeing a boy in front of me,

"Man are you ok? You've been out for days."

Days?

I stood up wearily, my feet failing me and crumbling beneath me,

"ouch."

I made myself comfortable on the cold floor,

"In Rob! Who are you?"

The boy leant out his hand,

"I'm Preston."

"Well nice to meet you Preston, I'm a bit concerned you have a really bad temperature, it way to high for any human."

He shrugged inching his hand closer,

I finally got what he meant and I took his hand,

The brightest light I had ever seen lit up the dull space, which revealed cages surrounding us,

"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?"

"This has happened before, apparently we are soulmates."

He grinned a little,

"Wait Preston can I see your wrists?"

"Um ok?"

Confused I put my arms out toward him,

He looked at my arms then to me and back at my arms,

He slammed his hand on the ground,

Ice covered the surface,

I looked at it shocked,

"H-How d-did you do that?"

He took my hand and place it on the ice,

He shook his hands, breathing into them, they were red and peeling,

I looked down to see steam coming off the ice, and then it was gone,

I looked down at it astonished,

"Y-you, M-me, I-ice g-gone."

"Okay this is going to sound crazy but hear me out-"

I nodded

"I can control Ice, and you can control Fire, they brought us here to do something I don't know about yet, there are 4 other boys here like you and me, turned different, and there's a lot more but it's pretty self explanatory."

I nodded,

"so we are opposites but soul mates if I'm correct."

"Well I guess what they say is true opposites do attract."
