Even with the sleeping pill I took,I couldn't sleep properly, even before my alarm could ring I'm already up.

I will begin my final year in highschool, just a year that remains for me to graduate. Mother already went before me to the school to register.

Today been Monday I got up to start preparing my books and backpack,I pulled out the ironed uniform from the wardrobe, a plain red mini skirt with white shirt and a red blazers with a long white sock with red stripe at the edge.

I look at the uniform while scoffing at it. Who still wear uniform to school, anyways I place the uniform on my bed, entered my bathroom to have my bath. I came out of my bathroom wraped in my purple towel round my body. I wasn't a fan for the colour pink, I dont just like it, it's too girlish. My two best friends are so obsessed with pink.

I rubbed my specially made cream, wore a matching undies before putting on my uniform. By the time I was done with dressing, It was around six_thirty.

I picked my backpack from my reading table, before leaving my room for the kitchen.

"Morning mum". I said to my mum while giving her a peck on her cheeks.

" Morning dear, how aw your night". She asked me as she gets the table ready for breakfast.

"Fine" I replied her. Like I said, no one knows about my past, or that I have insomnia, or the abuse I have faced, nor cut and brusis I had to conceal, but I can't deceive my mother she knows something is wrong, but she knows not to pry me for answers.

The only person who has experience one of my episode is my father...I mean Ruben and I hope that would be the last time he sees me that way.

"Grandma" the energetic voice of Paulina can be heard has she runs into the dinning, hug the back of mother's leg who in return pick her up and place her in her high chair.

"What is my favorite grandchild during today" mother said as she fixed the napkin round Lina's neck. I scoff at her word, her favorite grandchild as if she has another grandchild.

"Mother said I'm going to be meeting the Luna today and I'm so excited, mother said she is so beautiful. I'm also going to make a lot of friend". Lina said has she bounce on her chair excited.

"Lina how many time do I have to tell you not to run off without telling you to ". Helen said as she entered the dinning with a stern look directed at her daughter.

" You don't have to stress yourself darling, she is fine and sitting in her chair" Dalton said to his wife as he also entered the dinning.

" I don't just want her to get hurt, didn't you see the rate at which she ran out of the room after putting on her her Snickers" Helen said as her face soften.

"See" Dalton said as Lina gave them a sheepish look, "she is fine" he said as he peck her forehead.

While they were occupied with Lina, mother already set the table with bacon and eggs.

Everyone of us were eating in silence expect Lina who keeps telling us all what she was going to do with the new friends she is yet to have.

Isn't Ruben coming out to eat I thought to myself, not like I care if he comes or not but I couldn't stop but wonder where he is.

"I will be joining father in our neighboring pack, to know if the alliance of the park is secured." Dalton said stating his plans for the day.

" I will give you a food pack to take with you to your father. Now that I'm home I can finally treat him the way a mate is supposed to" she said feeling self satisfied at her last word.

"Bree you don't have to go to the principal, if you don't want to, I already collected your class schedule and whatever you need are in this file" she said handing the file to me.

" I hope you did not forget your physical training that will commence today after school" my brother said wiping his mouth as he prepared to leave.

"Just give me a call after you get back from school. You just have one hour to rest before I come to take you to the training ground" he said drinking his last sip of orange juice before leaving the dinning. I growled in disapproval, can't I start next week, I mean I just started school I should at least get settled in before thinking about training.

"Don't worry sweetie everything will be fine" mother said to me patting my lap.

Helen hurriedly pick Lina from her chair before going after Dalton.

I stood up as I begin to clear the plate from the table, I carried them to the kitchen, leaving it in the sink for mother to clean. I walked back to the dinning picking up my backpack before following mother who picked up her car key from the hanger where it is hung and stepping out of the house leaving me to lock it behind.

I can't wait till I clock eighteen and have my own car, I thought to myself as mummy drives me to my new school, it quite embarrassing for my mum to drive me to school.

My mother drives into a very big school just outside the town, I don't know how I manage to miss this building on our way when we got here.

I got down from the passenger side and wave my mum goodbye before she drives off. I stood stagnant looking at the school in front of me, I can't wait to explore what is behind this walls.

"Are you going to stand there looking like a dummy". A familiar voice to my right said, I turned my face to Dorothy, scowling at her, with her is a short,slim girl with her gold hair on low cut. She shouldn't be less than sixteen years, she was typing away on her phone without any care of any gaze from anyone.

" Bree met Lucy" Dorothy said with her fingers pointing at the Lucy, before snatching the phone off her hand.

"What the fuck Dora" the girl....I mean Lucy said trying to retrieve her phone back from Dorothy. I watched the two of them in amusement.

"Fine" Lucy huff, as she pull a fake smile, showing off her teeth letting me know the smile was faked.

"I'm Lucy, and I'm so pleased to meet you" she said stretching out her hands still showing her fake smile. Two can play this game I thought to myself before pulling on my fake smile and received her hand shake

"Oh, dear it nice meeting you, Dora have said a lot about me you" I said still showing my teeth and faking my smile, I even add a little laugh. She looked at me as if I've grown two head before bursting into laughter.

"Sorry about my earlier attitude, I'm actually not good at meeting new people. I hate to admit it but I think you were right Dora, I like her already" she said as her face broaden with a real smile, while Dora is pulling I told you so smirk at her, I smiled back at her as we walked further into the school with people staring at me as I walked pass them.

Three of us walked into the senior school building before Lucy left us and head to her class building. Dora took me to the locker room so I don't need to use the school map. I checked my schedule. I had maths for first period, history as second, literature for third and fourth, fifth for our break, sixth for art and the last period for gym. Not too bad I thought to my self, I was one of the best in my ex school at New York.

I and Dora compare schedule she has just two period with me, Art and history.

She took me to my first class before going to hers.

I took in a deep breath before twisting the knob of the door and step inside. All eyes in the room glue on me, I wasn't moved by the eyes on me, I'm used to getting look of attentions. I look round the class, I wanted a seat close to the window so I could view the forest that surrounds the school.

I saw one beside a guy with a huge glasses on his face with his head buried between a book. I decides to approach the guy.

"Hey, I'm Aubree, but just call me Bree for short, I hope you don't mind me sitting with you now"? I asked him, he nods his head countless times as he shift to the edge allowing me pass and seat beside the window.

"Thank you" I mutter to him. I brought out the materials I need for this class.

"I'm Jasper" the nerdy boy said as he push his glasses to the bridge of his nose. I nod my head in return.

The door opens as the math teacher steps inside the class.

" We have a new kid in our mist, can she step forward and introduce herself" she teacher said directing his gaze at me. I left my seat and walk up to the front of the class to introduce myself.

" I'm Aubree, I hope my stay here will be worth it " I said before going back to my seat. The whole class went silent, they were shocked about my introduction, I'm sure they were expecting more than my short intro. I'm not ready to get familiar with any of the students, I know it rude but I don't show my caring side to who I don't want to show it too.

The class went smoothly, I answered most of the questions same with the nerd beside me. After the bell rang I left the class for my history class I have with Dora, it went well also expect the annoying whisper of Dora im my ear telling me everyone attitude in the class.

All my class was going well till I got to literature class.

I was sitting close to the window with the same nerd beside me, it not as if I knew he had literature with me,we just happened to be sharing the same class.

"If it not the nerdy bird in our mist trying to get noticed by force" I look at where the voice is coming from and saw a girl with her face packed with makeup, as she smirk at the figure beside me. I looked at Jasper who buried his head in fear. I look back at the girl before turning my head to look out of the window. I wasn't ready for any school drama I just wanted to finish high School and escape this town.
"Or aren't you a little coward trying to seek attention by pairing yourself with the new girl. Oh look he his bowing head I'm sure he will later cry to his mummy, that a girl made fun of you" the girl at the front of the class said, I actually don't want to get involved in this little saga but her voice is beginning to irritate me.

"You worthless thing are you going to continue hiding". This word did it I couldn't help but snap at her.

" What the fuck is your problem, the person you are insulting isn't even paying you any attention, why don't you take your sit and think about how worthless you are and shut your disgusting mouth up" I said in annoyance, as everywhere because silent after my out burst, Jasper raised his head and looked at me shock written all over his face.

Author's note:
So that is another update, I know most of you might think the school setting is going out of plot but what you don't know is that it is really need for the coming together of the two main character and the introduction of other characters. So I introduced Lucy who is two years behind
Jasper the nerd and
The queen bee whose name I'm yet to mention.
