The waiter returned with your orders. You ordered Kimchi Pajeon and Mark ordered Bibimbap. You quietly ate your dish. The silence crept across the table as you finished your food. Mark ate silently and tried not to look you in the eye.

"I have to say something to end this awkward silence.." You thought. 

You finished your plate and watched Mark. 

"Urm.. So..?" You ask dumbly with a weak smile.

Mark shyly looks up from his plate. He awkwardly smiled and looked the other direction to find the waiter. 

"Sorry, I'm not good at dates..." You said slowly as you you fixed your hair. 

"Yeah... Me too. I've never really been on a date before." Mark agreed. 

"Are you done?" You asked as you gestured towards his plate.

"Oh yeah, I am." He said as he called over the waiter. 

"I'll pay for my half." You said as you looked for you wallet.

"No it's fine. I got it." Mark said as he quickly got out his credit card. 

You searched through your bag and you couldn't find your wallet. You could have sworn that you put your wallet in your bag. You searched around in your bag, but you couldn't find anything.  

"Urg. I can't find my wallet." You breathed out. 

"It's fine. Like I said before I'll pay." Mark said as he gave the credit card to the waiter. 

You gave up on looking for your wallet. 

"Thanks." You smile as you put your bag aside.

Your hair was in a frenzy since you went wild looking for you wallet. You try to fix it, but it wasn't staying in place. Suddenly, Mark stood up from his chair and leaned over to you. His face was closer to yours. Your heart started beating faster. You could smell a faint scent of Mark as he leaned over. His gentle hand was placed over your head as he fixed your hair. 

"There you go." Mark said as he fixed you hair. 

A bright red flushed across your face. 

"T-Thanks." You shyly responded. 

The waiter came back with Mark's credit card. Mark thanked him and stood up. 

"Where should we go?" Mark smiled. 

You stood up and said,

"Hm.. How about the park?" You asked as you pointed to the direction of the park. 

"Sure" Mark replied as you both left the cafe. 

You walked side by side together on the sidewalk. Things started easing up as you both talked about each other. You talked and laughed together as you walked to the park. You slowly realized that you liked Mark. As you arrived at the park you two sat on adjacent swings. You both talk and swing. 

It was getting dark. The sun was setting. You were a little sad because you had to go home soon. The wind grew stronger as you tried to shield your body. 

"Are you cold?" Mark asked.

"No, it's fine" You lied. 

Mark gave you a concerned look as he hopped off his swing and walked closer to you. 

"Here" He said as he wrapped you with his coat. 

"No, stop I don't need this.." You said as you remove his coat.

"I'm just worried about you. I don't want you catching a cold." He said as he wrapped his coat around you again.

The coat was warm and you could smell Mark's scent. You accepted the coat and stayed still on the swing. Mark sat back down on the adjacent swing. The park was quiet, all you heard was the squeak of the swings and the breeze. 

"Should you be going back now?" Mark asked as he looked you in the eyes. 

You didn't want to leave, but you did have work the next day. You slowly nod as you look down at your swaying feet. 

"Okay. I'll walk you back" Mark said as he got off the swing. 

You walk together on the sidewalk with silence. Back to square one again. You daze out a little bit as you're walking. You were not paying attention to anything. 

"_____! Watch out!" Mark yelled as you grabbed your wrist.

"Huh?" You woke up from your daze. 

"Are you alright? You almost got hit by a car" Mark said with concern in his eyes. 

"Yeah I'm fine." You said as you rubbed your eyes. 

"Just a bit tired" You said. 

You notice that Mark is tightly holding your hand. You blush slightly as you try to not think about it. 

You finally arrived at your apartment. 

"Thank you for today..." You began. 

"I really had a great time." You smiled. 

You removed Mark's coat from your body and handed it to him. You smiled and walked into your apartment.

"Wait!" Mark said as he grabbed your wrist again. 

Mark let go and looked down at the floor.

"Hmm?" You said in a bit confusion. 

"It it... alright... if we could.. um.. see each other again?" Mark shyly said as his face grew a light red. 

Your eyes widened and your heart started to race again. 

"Umm.. Yeah. Of course!" You smiled. 

Your heart was overfilled with joy. You finally met someone. The one. 

Mark lifted his head and ruffled his hair. He smiled and nodded. He let go of your wrist and quickly moved closer to you. He gently kissed your forehead. You felt the warmth from his body as he kissed you. You blushed wildly, you thought you were going to die of happiness. Mark pulled back and smiled.

"Good night _______" Mark said as he took off.

You stood in awe trying to comprehend on what just happened.
