I was walking down the halls towards the rec room, going to meet up with Optimus since he wanted to talk- I was cut off by Xandred cutting me off in the middle of the hall, driving up in front of me in his alt mode and opening his passenger door. His holoform was inside grinning at me, beckoning me inside his alt mode.

                Hesitantly I slipped inside, wondering what was going on as the door slammed shut after me and he took off- racing down the hall towards the exit of the base. I stared out the passenger side window with wide eyes as we passed the entrance to the rec room, before looking at Xandred. “X! I’m supposed to be meeting with Optimus today!”

                “I know femme, but don’t worry- we’re just goin’ out for a drive while the others question boss bot about some stuff… anyways, Charlie I was wondering if you liked boss bot?” He asks, his holoform turning to me and smirking- of course I automatically blushed and shook my head back and forth quickly, before staring out the window to hide my bright pink cheeks.

                “I-I refuse to answer that question X, not until you turn around and take me back to base.” I said, still not showing my bright pink face to the chuckling mech in his holoform to my left. Xandred really could be mean at times, in a joking manner of course, but he was one of my closest friends and I could never hate him…

                “Femme, I can tell by your stuttering and your bright pink cheeks you like him.” He says, teasing me which only ended in me blushing a brighter pink. Thanks Xandred, you are really helping here… “A lot of us think boss bot likes you too, and honestly that’s what the others are questioning him about currently. I’m supposed to keep you away for a bit.” He says, smirking at me.

                I instantly glared at his holoform and he held his hands up, I recently learned they didn’t have to have their hands on their own wheel but it still freaked me out the first time one of them did it with me in their alt mod, in surrender and grinned sheepishly at me. “Sorry femme, but it’s true… besides, you and boss bot would be… I can’t believe I’m sayin’ it, but you would be cute together….” He mumbled.

                Letting out a sigh, I leaned back into the seat- glancing out the window and biting my lip, before looking at the mechs holoform again. “It doesn’t matter anyways, Xandred. He’s the leader of the Autobots, he probably wouldn’t have time to date anyone… besides, why would he like me? The human femme from earth who was born with a strange mark on her hand?”

                Instantly Xandred responded, before I could continue to rant about why Optimus would ever like me. “Because you aren’t some normal human femme from Earth born with a mark on her hand, you’re the human femme from Earth with a mark on her hand who brought Optimus back to life. You treat him like any other mech, not just as a leader…. That’s why he would like you, femme.”

                Just as I went to respond, suddenly something flew by us making Xandred screech to a halt- glancing around, and his eyes widened as if he realized how far away we had drove from the base. “Xandred, what’s wrong? You look like you know something bad can happen at any moment… where are we, X?” I asked quickly, my own eyes widening as I glanced around.

                “We’re in Kaon femme, home to the Decepticons… and possibly the Predacons as well. I don’t know if that was a ‘Con or a Predacon, and I don’t feel like finding out today.” He says, turning out and speeding back to base- only to stomp on the brakes and screech to a halt once more, when three giant flying things landed in front of him.

                He cursed under his breath, before looking forwards and sighing in relief. “We’re in the clear, it’s the Predacons… luckily, they are on our side femme. Come on, I’ll introduce you to them.” He says, his holoform fizzling out. I instantly slipped out, Ratchet had explained the mark on my hand allowed me to breathe the air here, and looked up at them while Xandred quickly transformed.

                “Predaking, good to see you again.” He says, smirking at the one in the middle who had just transformed as well. “Sorry, we didn’t mean to drive out there far- I was just showing our new friend around, and we got distracted. This is Charlotte Carrington, but she likes to be called Charlie. Charlie, this is Predaking- the leader of the Predacons.” He says, introducing me to the Predacon.

                Sheepishly, I smiled up at the tall dragon-like mech- but I didn’t find him scary at all like others would. To me, he looked misunderstood yet kind. “It’s nice to meet you Predaking.” I said, bowing my head in respect- if he was a ‘king’ like his name said, then I would act like anyone would around any type of king. I would show my respect towards him.

                “Hello Charlotte, it is nice to meet you as well.” He says, smiling slightly and bowing his helm back at me. “This is Skylynx.” He says, motioning to the silver, black and blue mech to his right who grinned at me. “And this is Darksteel.” He says, motioning to the black and a dark tan mech to his left who smiled at me.

                This was going to be a fun adventure, I just knew it… Next time Xandred wants to take me to visit the Predacons, he better pay attention to where he’s going so we don’t accidentally run into one next time… especially since all three of them seemed nice to start with, especially the two to the sides who were grinning and smiling at me. I already knew I would deem them my friends soon enough.
