Third Person's Perspective

The night was beautiful, stars lighting up the sky and the clouds all tucked away for a good nights sleep. All you could hear was the cooling sounds of the wind and the little crickets. All was well in Magnolia.

"Natsu, what's wrong?" asked the Raven haired boy.

Across from Natsu Dragneel, the alleged fire dragon slayer, stood Gray Fullbuster, ice magic user.

"Mind your own business Gray!" Natsu said in his haughty voice. (( Voice by fucking Todd Haberkorn that's the fuck who! SEXY ASS VOICE BRO)). "Natsu, if you would just shut up and tell me, I wouldn't have to be here." Natsu snorted and watched Happy, his little blue cat, fly around the room. Gray put a spell on a dead fish to make it fly with ice wings to distract the little cat. He was whining that he couldn't catch it. "Why are you here? I didn't ask for your services. Go somewhere else!" Gray slammed his palm on the table. "What services are you talking about, fire-for-brains?" Natsu growled. "Your stripper company of course," gesturing to the ice wizards bare chest, revealing his muscular body and Fairy Tail mark.

"Aahh I'm gonna kill you!" Gray screamed.

~ Five Minutes Later ~

"We gave them fifteen minutes," Lucy murmured. "What could be taking those two so long?"

Lucy stood outside of Natsu's home, tapping her foot on the pavement. Erza, along with Mirajane, Makarov and Elfman were with Lucy, all four as inpatient. "Gosh, can't Gray be a man for once and just drag Natsu out?"

It had been a week. A week since Natsu came to the guild. At first, they believed it was because of his missions, slowly getting harder and taking more energy from him. And then he didn't show up for an important meeting dealing with the Fairy Festival coming up in a few months. Natsu never missed that meeting. Ever. Erza - as did Lucy -thought it would be a good thing to go and check up on him. Soon Elfman, Mirajane, Gray, and Master Makarov tagged along and here they were, waiting for the ice stripper to leave and figure out what the hell was going on with their friend.

"Ugh, what's taking forever?" Lucy complained. Erza looked over the house and heard a stir of movement. "They are not too compatible. I worry if we leave them too long then they will break out into a fight." Elfman nodded and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Well said Erza, just like a man." She glared. "I'm a woman." Elfman shrunk back and weakly smiled. "Sure."

"Its true though," Mira said in her small and tinkling voice. "We should probably head inside. Be careful." Master Makarov nodded. "Lucy, and Mirajane will be on a team with me," he grinned devilishly pointing at the two beautiful women. "Elfman you travel into the house with Erza from the back." Elfman groaned, slapping his forehead. "You just put me with Erza because she's a real man!" Master ignored him and continued, even as Erza grabbed him by the ear and lectured him on the very specific reasons she wasn't a man.

Soon they all headed inside the house and heard a bit of shouting.

Elfman and Erza took one side of the door while Makarov and Lucy toon the other side. They heard muffled yella from inside, and then a crash. "Why did we let Gray go in first?" Lucy muttered loudly. Everyone shrugged and then Erza readied her legs, suddenly KICKING the door down. "Wha- oops!" There was a series of crashing noises and when everyone looked inside of the room, Natsu had Gray straddled, pinned on the floor, his lips locked with Gray's, eyes wide open. "Aah! Get off me you freak of nature!" Gray shouted, pushing Natsu off of him.

"Natsu," Lucy breathed. "You're gay?"

Gray wrinkled his nose in disgust and eyes Natsu who stood shell shocked. "Not surprising."

"No, no Lucy, I'm no-" Natsu stuttered, but Erza interrupted him, patting him hardily on the back. "It's fine Natsu. We are a guild, and we'll accept no matter what you like." Natsu turned red and tried to speak but words eluded him. "No! YOU GUYS HAVE THE WRONG IDEA!" he tried to scream, but people grimaced and tried to console him that they didn't care. Lucy just stared at him, her face crestfallen.

'Oh,' she thought. 'That's why he left for a week. Because I kissed him.'

She remembered it like was yesterday, even though it was about a week ago. Lucy felt that Natsu was finally accepting her affections, and found the perfect opportunity to finally make her move. She had her lips finally touch the one she so craved, and he burst into a flaming red color, running out of the guild. He didn't return for the next week, and then this happened. Lucy realized it all now. "Natsu if you didn't like girls you should have told me. Then I wouldn't have... I shouldn't have..." tears welled up in her eyes and she broke out in a small sob, and fled the scene. Natsu's eyes were wide, staring off into space as everyone left, feeling awkward with their newfound information about Natsu.

"I do like girls," he whispered abruptly. "Well, a girl."

~NEXT MORNING~

Natsu had never been so humiliated in his entire life. When he entered the guild, all eyes were on him. Everyone stared and whispered, pointing and laughing. News of his 'escapade' had made it around the entire guild, and soon there were variations of it that even sounded too much for Natsu. Some said he practically raped Gray. Others said he tried to hook up with Elfman afterward.

His face tried to stay calm, but calm was not one of his strong suits. "Shut UP!" he screamed. Everyone was silent. "I'm not gay!" he plead. No one responded and he slubk over to his usual seat at the bar where Mirajane gave him a glass of wine. "It helps with stress," she murmured sweetly, her eyes conveying some type of inner kindness that made him calm down. He felt more at ease with Mirajane.

She was a nice person.

"Where's Lucy?" Natsu asked gruffly, chugging down the last remnants of his red wine. "She didn't come in today." Natsu sighed. He hadn't known fate was going to be this cruel to him. "She's probably at her house," Gray said. Natsu looked at Gray and turned a pink color. "Look, Gray I didn't mean-" Gray held up a hand and ignored his attempts at an apology. "It's whatever. Just find Lucy and clear up all of this bull about us being star-crossed lovers. Juvia is starting to call you her love rival," he grimaced.

"Thanks ice princess."

"Who're you callin' ice princess lava dork!"

"I'm going to kill you, stripper!"

- At Lucy's house -

Natsu entered Lucy's home and spotted her almost instantly. She was sprawled on the floor, her hand holding something resembling a crumpled piece of paper. Natsu, (completely ignoring the fact that she was on the floor, asleep), grabbed the paper, reading her tears stained paper, covered in what could be considered chicken scratch. "You have some horrible handwriting," he commented, staring at the three words on the paper. "Lucy + Natsu = ♥" He shook as he held it in his grasp, realzing that he hurt Lucy's feelings.

Natsu picked Lucy up and tucked her in her bed nicely, when she stirred. "N...Natsu...?" she asked tiredly, rubbing her eyes as if she was a child. "I'm so, so, so, so, sorry, " he whispered earnestly. "I didn't mean to hurt your feelings." Lucy sat up, her hair horrible from tossing and turning and sleeping onthe hard floor.

"Why didn't you tell me you were gay? Then I wouldn't have kissed you, and I wouldn't have had to see you all kissy-kissy with Gray. Ugh!" she growled. "Why didn't I see it sooner!" Natsu scowled at Lucy and told her that he wasn't homosexual. "You're not?" she asked hesitantly. "No! Of course not!" Lucy crossed her arms like an unconvinced child. "Then why were you kissing him?" Natsu groaned. "Luce! We were fighting when you guys busted down my bedroom door - which is completely gone now, thanks Erza - and it scared me so I fell on top of Gray. It just so happened that my mouth landed on his, and let me tell you, it hurt. I had a fat lip all night."

Lucy sighed, plopping back on her pillow.

"Why did you run away after I kissed you if you aren't gay?"

"I like you Lucy. Like a lot. I needed time to think about it - us."

"I don't believe you," she pouted, pulling the covered over her sad face. Natsu trued to plead with her, so she said, "Prove it."

He pinned her down and nibbled on her sensitive ear.

Lucy ran her hands up and down his hot chest, her fingers trailing the muscles.

She lifted the shirt off of his body and her fingers tangled in his hair as he kissed her roughly, passionately, and sadly. He wanted to prove so bad he loved her.

"Natsu, I believe you!" she whispered huskily. The layed back on the soft comforter, crazy make-out hair and all, breathing deeply. "Good," he gasped. Natau held Lucy and made her feel loved.

"Natsu, I love you," she whispered before succumbing into a deep sleep.

"You too, Luce. You too."
