Back to Mario and others, they're now inside the temple as they look around the maze in awe. Later, they saw a cream-colored Spark as it flies across a river and head further inside the temple. Rabbid Luigi pointed to where the Spark had gone off to.

"There! I saw the Spark of Light! It went over that big ol' crevice!"

Rabbid Y/N noticed that they can't cross since the water level is too low and the floating platform connecting the two sides of the river is too far down to jump to. Looking around, Beep-0 noticed a narrow ravine that feeds the river, its flow blocked by some large, moveable bricks.

"Hmm... Perhaps we could cross over it with that plank, but we'd need to raise the water level there somehow..."

Rabbid Mario looks at the first block closest to him and pushes it to the left, causing the water to move, creating a flow.

"Nice work, Rabbid Mario!" Rabbid Y/N gave him thumbs up.

Luigi helps out and goes over to the second pair. He moves the one on the right up and the one on the left to the right, making more water flow. Only three more blocks left as Peach move the next block to the left, while Mario move the one on the right up, and Y/N move the final block to the right. The water flow then hit towards the big wheel as it starts moving, making the machine from above release water and creating the water level high enough to make the floating platform make a bridge for them to cross. As soon as they to the other side, they continue on their search for the Spark of Light when they bumped into the Goomba. Rabbid Y/N didn't hesiate to dash at the creature, which causes them to teleport to the Darkmess world where they can see more Goombas and Stooges. Y/N glances at Pyrostar and smirks.

"Show me what you've got, Pyrostar."

With a grin, Pyrostar charges her dual dark saber with the Burn Super Effect. Curious to know what it's capable of, she tosses two of the dark sabers separately towards the Stooge and three of the Goombas. This Burn Super Effect causes extra damage as they ran around with their butt on fire, and they get easily defeated before the two dark sabers flies back to her. Y/N was in awe at the damage.

"Awesome!"

She gives Pyrostar a high-five. Rabbid Luigi throws his Discruptor towards the three Goombas, easily destroying them before his disc flies back to him.

"Yeah!"

Rabbid Peach dashed six of the Goombas.

"Love it!"

Rabbid Mario then dashed three more of the Goombas.

"Alright!"

Then Luigi uses his Sharpshooter and fires one projectile at the last Goomba, destroying it. Later, they're back inside the temple and pursued after the Spark as finally found the Spark of Light by the waterfall. The Spark of Light senses them behind it and turns and screams to see them. Everyone stood there, thinking what to do without scaring it. Y/N slowly approaches the Spark of Light.

"Hey, it's okay. We're here to help you. We're friends." she said, bringing out her hand.

The Spark of Light looks at her for a moment to see if there's any evil intent in her, but after seeing none and a kind face she's giving it, it smiles and was about to fly towards her when a Darkmess Tentacle grabs the Spark and pulls it into the waterfall.

With worry, they all ran towards the waterfall and bursted to the other side with Rabbid Mario wearing a flamingo floatie. They then landed as Rabbid Mario removes the floatie. They ran and stopped in shock to see something in front of them. A loud whirring noise was heard, and they turned to see Rabbid Peach was drying her hair with a hair blower before tossing it aside. Rabbid Peach then gasped to see the building covered in Darkmess Tentacle with the Spark of Light in its hold. It then pull the Spark of Light into the Darkmess, leaving them with worry for that creature.

"Hurry! We've got to go after that Spark of Light!" Beep-0 urged them.

Jeanie revealed herself.

"Indeed - without the Spark, we will not be able to enter the lighthouse."

Everyone was in disbelief to hear her say that.

"Jeanie - that is far from the only reason we should save that poor creature." Beep-0 scolded.

"Obviously. Defeating the Darkmess Tentacle will also provide us with one of the two purified Darkmess Energy Crystals we need. However, this creature's higher density of Darkmess energy as compared to Puddles means our enemies will be more formidable."

"Is she that negative?" Y/N said quietly.

Beep-0 sighed in frustration.

"That's what I get for buying you an 'off-the-shelf' AI empathy module to save time."

Without wasting time, they head into the Darkmess Tentacle. They soon found themselves in a place full of waterfalls as they stand in the platforms where they can see the Stooges on the second platform on the water along with others. Up ahead, they can see the Spark at the back where the two Rabbid mermen holding the trident. Mario dashed at the Stooge before Y/N finish the blow by slashing it with her dark saber. He sees the button and presses it, creating another platform for them to go across. Rabbid Peach helps by dashing the Scoper before being held by Beep-0 as she flies over before landing and finished it off with her Triple-Troll as she fired off three rockets.

"It's been real!"

They see three more Stooges as Rabbid Luigi jumps with the help of Rabbid Y/N giving him a boost as he flies above the three that are close before throwing his Discruptor at them sequentially as they get damaged. Rabbid Y/N helps bring the blow by shooting the beams at them with her pistol three times for each of the target as they get destroyed. Peach pressed another button to create another platform to get across as they see four more villains for them to defeat. Mario shoots the Stooge two times with his dual slinger as it disappears. Rabbid Peach shoots out three rockets at the Scoper, damaging it, and then Y/N finishes it with her dual dark saber. Rabbid Y/N shoots the Stooge two times with her pistol, and it disappears instantly. Lastly, with the two Scopers as Y/N swings two of her dark sabers separately and the two of them at the same time. Luigi and Peach finish it by shooting their weapons at them, defeating them. Once they're in a clear, they head over to the Spark.

The Spark was happy to see them after being saved as the group smiles at it. It was about to go towards them when it looked up to see three more Stooges landed down from somewhere high and chased after the Spark. One almost grabs it, but the Spark luckily slipped away from their grip before fleeing away through the waterfall after dodging another enemy that tried to grab it. The Stooges chases after it. The heroes were about to go help the Spark when two of the Stooges blocked their way. They were about to fight them, but Rabbid Mario luckily helped out by punching them with his Dukes. With one punch, they're now turned to dust. Rabbid Mario kisses one of his gauntlets as everyone runs past him with Rabbid Y/N giving him thumbs up.

"Hey!" he called out before catching up to them.

The group ran through the waterfall and down the steps before stopping as they see the Spark being cornered by more group of Stooges as they slowly creep on the poor star creature. Just as they're about to pull out their weapon as one of the Stooges jumps in the air to pounce on the Spark, a large sword flies out of the waterfall and slashes through the dark cloaked Rabbid, turning it to dust and then returned to the waterfall as the hand pops out and grabs it. It revealed a fingerless black glove. Everyone else is confused on who that was until the stranger comes out to reveal a female Rabbid with her long green, black spiky hair, with purple eyelids, a purple shirt along with a black and green vest, she also seems to have sharp teeth and lava on her mouth, and some black shoes with lines of green on it that matches up her vest.

As she walks out, she chuckles along the way before stopping after completely getting out of the waterfall as she holds her Flying Blade casually over her shoulder. Staring down at the Stooges, she wags her finger to let them know not to mess with the Spark of Light. Instead of listening to her, they angrily start attacking her by throwing out darkmess balls. The heroes don't know what to do as they stood out of the way once the female Rabbid speed runs towards the Stooges and deflects the attack at one of them as they turn into dust. She then slashes each and every one of them with one swing after getting close to them before running towards the few more Stooges. The Stooges tries to fire their attack at her, but she dodges while still running as she jumps over and slashes at them before landing on one hand and getting up and running back.

Everyone watches in awe as the female Rabbid stabs her sword on the ground and made a 360 degree turn so she wouldn't fall off the edge before turning back to her enemies, taking her sword out of the ground. Y/N and Rabbid Y/N were in awe as they both speak in unison.

"I found my moving buddy."

"I found my future best friend..."

Rabbid Mario was head over heels at the gothic punk female Rabbid as his eyes are covered with hearts. Just like the story when the construction boy is in love with the tough tomboyish girl. Rabbid Peach on the other hand was just as speechless as Y/N and Rabbid Y/N and dropped her phone without noticing. Her fight was so fast and so quick, they didn't even get to blink as she finished the blow. She landed on her knee and glanced back as the enemies all turned to dust at the same time. She got up and turned to the Spark of Light. When their eyes meet, the Spark of Light gasped in fear because of her glare, but then she turned her face to a small smile. She stabbed her sword into the ground again and kneeled down and put her hand out to the Spark. The Spark hesitated before slowly flying towards her. The heroes watch in awe at the sight.

Just as the Spark was coming close to the gothic Rabbid, a loud growl made the whole place shake like an earthquake. Everyone gets on their guard while the Spark gets more scared. They see a pair of glowing eyes in the dark entrance high above them. Then, it burst out from hiding and landed in front of the stranger and the Spark. It slowly rises up as the stranger glares at the enemy while the Spark shakes and hides behind the sword. There standing before them is a giant Rabbid with a mixture of the tiger called Wildclaw as it growls at them. Everyone gets excited at the new challenger and readies out their weapons along with the stranger as they get ready for a fight.

"Assuming we can trust the ominous stranger, having three heroes cooperating on a battlefield would give a HUGE advantage!" Beep-0 stated.

Y/N nodded to Rabbid Peach and Rabbid Mario to go help the gothic punk Rabbid fight the Giant Wildclaw. Rabbid Peach nodded with a smile while Rabbid Mario looked excited to go help the girl he likes. As the two go over to her and the giant enemy, Y/N and the group fought against the Stooges that are in their way.

Rabbid Peach and Rabbid Mario comes over to the gothic punk Rabbid's aid as the three faced the giant Wildclaw. Rabbid Peach noticed she has a black Spark as it had shields around it. The gothic punk girl gestured them to surround the giant Rabbid tiger as they did. Y/N noticed the Darkmess portal was created after she slashed off the Stooge. Beep-0 noticed that as well.

"Look! Those appear to be Darkmess portals. Destroy them, quickly! More enemies are bound to pop out soon."

Rabbid Mario gives the gothic punk girl a wink, who gives him a raised eyebrow, before charging at the giant Wildclaw. Two Stooges jumped in his way and tried to attack him when be went between them and punched them by the sides, making them disappear. Once he's close to Wildclaw, it growls at him and tries to slash him with his claws when he quickly dodged that and Wildclaw accidentally clawed the Stooge. Rabbid Mario punches Wildclaw in the stomach with his Duke and then started boxing him in the face rapidly like a punching bag as it shook from each punch. As he do that, he let out a yawn and dropped one of his arm down while punching with his other as he gives the gothic punk girl a wink again with a smile. Rabbid Y/N shook her head amusingly at this while the Rabbid gothic punk girl just roll her eyes with a hint of small smile. Rabbid Mario then uses both of his Dukes to get back to punching as he did that a lot of more times before punching him to the side of Wildclaw's face as his face was turned and Y/N helps out since she's close, and flies up and kicks the giant in the face, causing him to spit out a tooth. Rabbid Mario gives her a thumbs up, which she gives him a nod.

Giant Wildclaw shook his head out of his dizziness as he tried to regain consciousness, giving the gothic punk the advantage and throws her flying sword towards him as it hits him multiple times before hitting him again with another multiple and then it flies back to her as she caught it. More Stooges comes as they try to blast them only to hit the boulders they're hiding, but Wildclaw was close to the gothic punk girl and hits her almost a lot as she got hurt a little. But thanks to that black bunny eared star for creating a shield around her to protect her, she's only a bit down from that hit. Rabbid Mario growls and tries to hit that giant only to be backhanded away as he was slammed against the boulder Mario was just hiding as he was about to shoot the Stooge. Rabbid Peach sighed at this and floated in the air and pulled out her phone, activating a giant pink heart. It hits the gothic punk girl and Rabbid Mario as their health is all good and full as well as their wounds.

"Hashtag, healing journey!"

"Keep up, guys!" Y/N said, destroying the Darkmess portals with her butterfly magic.

Gothic punk girl goes over to the wall where she can hide and activates her Stormblade as she spins her flying sword before getting into her stance, glaring straight at the giant enemy. Once she got a perfect target, she throws her sword at Wildclaw. It gives the giant six hits before it flies back to her. The giant Wildclaw goes over to her to attack her when she does one more swing and throws at him again but more fast, causing it to back away in pain. Rabbid Mario glares and activates his super move with his Dukes, ready to punch. Rabbid Peach helps out and looks over at the giant Wildclaw from the wall before shooting three rockets from her gun.

"Hold still, will ya?!"

Wildclaw grunted at the hits and falls to the ground from the impact, but he quickly got back up and was about to go to where Rabbid Peach was hiding when Rabbid Mario jumps in and starts punching him multiple times, making him stagger. Wildclaw growls at him as the Stooges goes to blast them, only to hit the wall they're hiding again. More Darkmess portals were being made as Y/N and the others quickly take care of that. Rabbid Peach shoots another three rockets from her gun again as it starts to weaken him. Gothic punk girl throws her sword at him again, weakening him again. Rabbid Mario charges in and punches him again before uppercutting him underneath Wildclaw's chin. Wildclaw growls and charges towards him. Rabbid Peach nods to gothic punk girl to quickly help him as she nods back before she did a team jump by Rabbid Peach lodges her. Beep-0 flies in and she grabs onto him as they fly over to Wildclaw before landing in front of Rabbid Mario and throws her flying sword at the giant Wildclaw one more time, causing him to let out a last roar before disappearing. She lets out a humph before swinging her sword and letting it rest over her shoulder.

"Too easy." she smirked.

Rabbid Mario gives her a lovestruck look as he admires her. She sees that and slightly pushes his face away, causing him to stagger a bit. Once the enemy is down, a Purified Darkmess Energy Crystal is seen floating down after giant Wildclaw is defeated as the gothic punk girl catches it in her hand. Then, the Darkmess Tentacle that was in the temple then disappeared as well. Everyone gathered together and stared at the mysterious Rabbid female with the cream-colored Spark besides her.

"Excuse me, intimidating stranger." Beep-0 said, feeling a little scared of her. "It's vitally important that the Spark come with us to the lighthouse. Until we destroy the lighthouse Tentacle, we cant create Warp Tunnels to other planets, and eventually to Cursa."

"I can unlock the lighthouse! Watch - I'll meet you there!" Cream-colored Spark said before flying away towards the lighthouse.

Augie pops out from the water and cheers happily to see them okay.

"Oh! Bingo banga bonga, baby! You got that Spark! Let's get it to the lighthouse and-"

He stops and flinches to see the gothic punk Rabbid along with the scared crab. She just crosses her arms and gives him a blank look.

"GAAAGH! YOU AGAIN! THE SPARK HUNTER!"

"Spark Hunter?" Rabbid Y/N mumbled, feeling suspicious.

"NOT a Spark Hunter. Name's Edge." Edge said, looking uncomfortable with the word 'Spark Hunter'..

"Cool name." Y/N said, smiling.

"Great! 'Rabbid Edge,' welcome to-"

Edge cuts Beep-0 off.

"JUST Edge." she said firmly.

"Beautiful..." Rabbid Mario whispered.

"You gotta spaceship, huh? Guess you can ride sidecar with me - for a time. It's not like you can't use the help."

"Speaking of help, I believe it's time we start keeping THREE Heroes on our frontline. Who'll take the first shift?" Beep-0 said.

Now Edge is on their team as they head towards the lighthouse. But Rabbid Y/N was more suspicious about is the "Spark Hunter" and why was Augie so afraid of Edge when she just came and help out.
