We then cut into the next scene showing Bowser and Bowser Jr. who were hiding in the cave of the woods. As they were being quiet for twenty minutes, Bowser finally speaks saying.

Bowser: Curse those pesky plumbers, they always have to win against us.

Bowser Jr.: Yeah, especially how we lost to them in their stupid game called Tetris.

Bowser: I know. Which is why were going to redeem ourselves by practicing their game.

Bowser Jr.: We are?

Bowser: Of course we are. We just need is to figure it out on how to play.

???: I believe that won't be necessary for now, your loyalness.

Next, Bowser and Bowser Jr. started to recognize that voice as they turn their heads to the outside of the woods. Then, they see is a magician who was wearing a blue robe and glasses. He also has a magic want in his hand. And his name is Kamek, a high rank Magikoopa that serves Bowser and Bowser Jr. and also a part in the Koopa Kingdom army.

Bowser: Kamek!? What are you doing here.

Kamek: Well I was just trying to find you two back at the castle. But suddenly, I just got teleported here in this world thanks to those weird blocks that came falling from the sky.

Bowser: Huh. So I guess you experience that too, eh.

Kamek: Yes. But anyhow, I'm glad that I found you two who are in peace.

Bowser Jr.: So Dad, what about the plan that you just said.

Bowser: Oh yeah, that plan.

Kamek: Well that plan of yours will have to wait, because I have a better plan to take down the Mario Bros. for good.

Bowser Jr.: You do?

Kamek: Yes. Now you two better listen since this plan might catch your interest.

Kamek: And that's how we beat them.

Bowser: So let me guess this straight, all we need to do is to find that lady with a cat in her hands so you can possess the cat to join on our side.

Kamek: Yep. After all, the cat of hers can perform magic spells too than just the lady herself. Not to mention that I did encounter them at the Magic School while I was looking for you two.

Kamek: I think her name is Ms. Accord and that cat of hers name is Popoi. 

Bowser: Ms. Accord and Popoi, huh. Well what does she teach in Magic School?

Kamek: Well, she's teaches students on how to play a game called Puyo to perform their own magic spells which is quite interesting.

B/B Jr.: Puyo?

Kamek: Yes, Puyo. Even though I find it a weird name for that kind of a game, but that game let's you perform spell attacks for what I just heard.

Bowser: Spell attacks, huh. You know, me and Jr. play Tetris before and we did perform our own spell attacks.

Kamek: You did?

Bowser: Yeah. We face the Mario Bros. in a game called Tetris, where we stacks up some weird color blocks and we obviously lost to them which is so unfair.

Kamek: I see.

Kamek (Thoughts): So that explains about those weird color blocks. 

Bowser: As for your plan you come up with, we might as well give it a shot.

Bowser Jr.: Aww yeah! Finally we get to have some action.

Kamek: Excellent! We'll get started by searching for Ms. Accord and Popoi right away.

Bowser: Mmhm...

Bowser (Thoughts): You and your brother may have beat me and Jr. in Tetris, but this plan that Kamak come up with will surely beat you and Green Stache once and for all. And soon, you'll be Cat Food by Popoi for sure. Gawahaha!

And with that, Bowser, Bowser Jr., and Kamek ran out of the cave (except Bowser Jr. who is riding in his clown car and Kamek who is riding on his magic broom) as they were now searching for Ms. Accord and Popoi so they can use Popoi to their advantage.

We then cut into the next scene showing the SS Tetra that was flying in space. Next, the camera zooms in through the window seeing Mario and the others who are in the Playroom as Mario and Luigi were starting to play Table Tennis. While Yoshi, Toadette, and the Puyo crew were just watching them competing against each other.

Once the Mario Bros. were ready to play, Mario said.

Mario: Okay bro, let's see if you can beat me in Table Tennis.

Luigi: You're on, bro.

(BGM: Minigame - Mario & Luigi Paper Jam)

Mario then serves the ball in the air and started to hit the ball towards Luigi.

Next, Luigi hits the ball back at Mario as he hits the ball hard towards Luigi.

Then, Luigi misses the shot as Mario got the score of 1-0.

Mario: Aww Yeah.

Luigi: Dang it. This next one I'll get it for sure.

Next, Mario serves the ball into the air and started to hit the ball towards Luigi.

Then, Luigi hit the ball back at Mario as he hits the ball hard towards Luigi. But Luckily, Luigi hits the ball hard back as well towards Mario.

Next, Mario misses the shot as Luigi got a score of 1-1.

Luigi: Yes!

Mario: Oof, Well that was unexpected. But I won't let you get a point this time.

Then, Luigi serves the ball into the air and started to hit the ball towards Mario.

As Mario and Luigi were hitting the ball, Starlow said.

Starlow: Are Mario and Luigi really that competitive?

Toadette: Yep. They do get competitive all the time whenever it's Racing, Party games, and even Sports.

Ringo: You don't say. 

Ringo (Sweatdrop): I mean, those two are really serious about winning a game.

Amitie: No wonder this is getting intense. And I don't know who to cheer for.

Arle: It looks like Mario and Luigi aren't playing around that easy, huh Carby.

The total scores were now 4-4 for both Mario and Luigi as Mario said.

Then, Mario serves the ball into the air and started to hit the ball towards Luigi.

Then, Luigi hit the ball early as the ball was up in the air towards Mario.

Next, Mario hits the ball hard towards Luigi. But unfortunately, Luigi misses the shot which gave Mario a score of 5-4.

Mario: Yes. Only one more point left and that's the game.

Luigi (Thoughts): Shoot! This is not good. But I won't give up that easily.

Then, Luigi serves the ball into the air and started to hit the ball towards Mario.

Next, Mario hits the ball back at Luigi as he hits the ball hard towards Mario.

Then, Mario hits the ball hard towards Luigi. But luckily, Luigi manage it to hit the ball back towards Mario.

Next, Mario hits the ball towards Luigi as he misses the shot giving Mario a score of 6-4.

Amitie: You two were awesome back there!

Suddenly, Tee, Ess, and O showed up saying.

Tee: Okay everyone, were here at our destination. 

Ringo: Sweet. Mario, Luigi, Starlow, are you three ready to go?

And with that, Mario, Ringo, and the others started to leave the SS Tetra. As they left, Amitie said.

Toadette: Well, we could play a Puyo Puyo match.

After five minutes have passed, they were still walking in the Constellation Zone as Ringo said.

Ringo: The being we're looking for is name Ecolo.

Next, they nodded as they start searching for this person name Ecolo. Then, a shadow being pop out of hiding who is is an amorphous, human-shape figure of space matter, generally of black and highlighted cyan. His head has a wispy tail, and his face consists of two cyan circles, a question mark on the forehead and an eerily crescent-shape mouth with a perpetual drool. His chest glows cyan, taking a vaguely star-shape form and spirals.

???: Errh...?

Ringo: He's out here somewhere.

Tee: "Somewhere" is a pretty large area.

Ess: Yeah, any idea where to start?

Ringo: Tch! Um, guys... I think the answer's been under our noses this whole time.

Ringo: THERE HE IS!

Luigi: Where?!

Mario: *ahem*

Luigi: Hmm...

Next, Mario point his finger to the left and saw the drooling shadow guy there were looking for as they said.

Luigi: Woah!

Tee: Egads!

Tee: Th-That blob's been staring at us this whole time! THAT'S Ecolo...?

O: Pipipipipipipi!

Ess: Didn't someone mention a drooling guy?

Luigi: I think Lemres mention a drooling shadow guy. So yeah, that has to be him.

Ess: How dare you sit there and eavesdrop! ...And drool all over.

Ecolo: Hrmmm...?

Mario: Well Ecolo, are you going to talk to us or are you just going to stare at us all day?

Said Mario who is being impatient. Then, Ecolo started to escape as Ess said.

Ess: Hey, he's getting away!

Ringo: Get back here, Ecolo!

As they were about to chase Ecolo, another person came out of nowhere who is a stylized fish with big lips, with the upper part of his body is red in color while the lower half ranges from a white to cream in color. He also has tan-colored human-like arms and feet, which are located in where his pelvic and pectoral fins should go.

???: Jazz fingers!

Ringo: AHHH! SPACE FISH!

Mario: Calm down, Ringo! It's just a fish.

???: Baby, ol' Suketoudara's here to turn all your wishes... to fishes!

Suketoudara: I got the swishes, oh-so funkalicious, movin'-groovin' without stitches!

Ringo: What the heck's going on!?

Starlow: I don't know, but I think he's singing or something.

Mario: I guess that would make sense since he's been rhyming with those words he pronounce.

Ess: *screaming loud enough to be heard in the vast vacuum of space*

Ess: I hate big, ugly fish!

Suketoudara: Well, excuse me for havin' some "sole," lady.

Ess: You need to go! Now! Shoo! SHOOOO!

Ess: If you don't go, then I'm going to battle you!

Then, they charge up their spell as they were ready to fire their attack at each other saying.

Next, they fire the spell which soon collided each other. Once their spells were collided, Ess spell was now pushing Suketoudara's spell back which causes him to take damage each time.

Then, their spells suddenly stop as Suketoudara's health was fully depleted. So therefore, Ess was victorious while Suketoudara's had lost to Ess saying.

Suketoudara: But I'm the VIP!

Ess: I did it! ♪

As their battle was over, Ess was still sobbing saying.

Ess: *sniffle* Please go...

Suketoudara: These guys are shellfish. I fell downright fishtreated here.

Ringo: Hey, uh... dancing fish-man. Wh-Why are you up here?

Suketoudara: Not to play "koi," but I'm not sure actually. I was just doin' my thing, and I felt somethin' tuggin' me. So I came.

Suketoudara: Here's what you do when life hands you a lemon, babycakes...

Next, Mario, Luigi, and Starlow started to sweat drop from this and said in their thoughts.

Ringo: Oh, right! We need to find Ecolo.

Suketoudara: The heck...? You're just gonna up n' leave, like I'm some sorta weirdo?

Suddenly, a pink fish came out of nowhere who is wearing a medallion with a star imprinted on it held by a collar/necklace, and a three point crown that has a swirl imprint on it. Aside from that he's pink with a white stomach, yellow fins, purple gills and tail fin, a pointed mouth, and his eyes have a distinct "star" pattern for his pupils.

Suketoudara: ...And that other fish-face.

Then, he suddenly realized it and was shocked by this saying.

Suketoudara: OH MY "COD"! Where'd YOU come from?

???: It is a pleasure to meet you! I am the Ocean Prince.

Ocean Prince: Prince Shellbrick III, at your service! Charmed, I'm sure!

Ocean Prince: You see, I was fleeing from my butler... and... well... I wound up here somehow!

Suketoudara: Well, slugger, you certainly got yourself in quite a pickle. Ya got any idea where you are?

Ocean Prince: Nope! But now you're here to take me back!

Suketoudara: This clownfish ain't "herring" a word I'm sayin'. Look, chum, I been flounderin' 'round these parts awhile now...

Ocean Prince💢: SCILENCE! All we need to do is pop some Puyos, fishbrain!

Ocean Prince: You pop enough, and it teleports you into another world! Now, let's hustle!

Suketoudara: Hoi! Guess I should show this honkytonk how to hustle...!

And with that, Suketoudara started to pop some Puyos so he and Ocean Prince can teleport into another dimension.

After a few minutes have passed, we then see is a blond girl who has blue-eyed, and wears mostly blue (in her hat, boots, and dress, specifically.), with various details such as a red band with a bow behind it and a bow below her neck. And her name is Witch, a comet magician who aspires to one day attain great magical power.

Witch: Hm... Interesting... fascinating...

Witch: You line up the blocks and... —OH! That's all?

Witch: Bet I could use this as an ingredient for a new potion!

Next, Mario, Ringo, and the others showed up and Tee said.

Tee: Who's the girl with the funny hat?

Ringo: Oh, boysenberry... Guess she got warped up here too.

Then, Witch started to notice them as she said.

Witch: You there! I need a magic assistant.

Witch: Wanna help?

Tee: Huh!? Me?

Witch: Yes, you~! I'm doing an experiment with these blocks.

Witch: But I need someone to help me.

Tee: Are you challenging me to a battle?

Luigi: It kinda looks like it.

Mario: Well good luck with that, Tee.

And with that, Tee battling with the Witch begins by playing... Party.

Tee starts off by stacking up some Puyos, while the Witch is also stacking up some Tetriminos. Next, Tee manage to clear Puyos twice saying.

Tee: There! Hyah!

Then, Witch manage to clear two lines to perform a spell 1 attack.

Witch: Meteor Shower!

Next, they stack up some more as Tee manage to clear Puyos three times to perform a spell 1 attack. Follow by using an Offensive item automatically that he cleared next to the Puyos and said.

Tee: Fire!

Then, Witch can't flip a few Tetriminos blocks because of a Tee's Offensive item. But luckily, she manage to clear one line saying.

Witch: Yah!

But it wasn't enough as the Witch receive two Garbage Puyo lines into her stack.

Witch: Eep!

Next, they stack up even more as Tee manage to clear Puyos three times to perform a spell 1 attack.

Tee: Hold!

Then, Witch manage to clear four lines saying.

Witch: Tetris!

Unfortunately, it wasn't enough for Tee as he receive a few Garbage Blocks into his stack.

Next, they stack up some more as Tee manage to clear Puyos four times to perform a spell 2 attack. Follow by using a Power-up item automatically that he clear next to the Puyos and said.

Tee: Upgrade!

Then, Witch manage to clear two lines to perform a spell 1 attack. Follow by using a Power-up item automatically that she clear next to the two lines and said.

Witch: Don't mind if I do.

But it wasn't enough as the Witch receive three Garbage Puyo lines into her stack.

Witch: Eep!

Next, they stack up even more as Tee manage to clear Puyos five times to perform a spell 3 attack.

Tee: Lockdown!

Then, Witch manage to clear three lines to perform a spell 2 attack.

Witch: Moon Beam!

But it still wasn't enough as the Witch receive two Garbage Puyo lines into her stack.

Witch: Eep!

Next, her blocks were full as the Witch was Topped Out and said.

Witch: Payback Time!

Then, Tee manage to clear Puyos three times to perform a spell 1 attack.

Tee: Hold!

As the Witch was about to stack the next block to clear 'em out, the Witch receive four Garbage Puyo lines into her stack.

Witch: Aaah!

Next, Tee stack up some Puyos as the Witch manage to clear four lines. Follow by using an Offensive item automatically that she clear next to the two lines and said.

Witch: Try this potion!

Then, Tee's Puyos started to freeze which he won't able to clear 'em. Once Tee's Puyos were frozen, Tee receive a lot of Garbage Blocks into his stack.

Tee: Gah!

Next, they started to stack some more so they can perform there spell attacks as time was about to be up in...

Witch: Meteor Shower!

And with that, Tee was victorious with the most points. While the Witch had lost to Tee which she had less points.

Witch: What happened...?

Tee: I never back down!

As their battle was over, Witch said.

Witch: Ah, I see now! Thank you for your help. You were a good assistant.

Witch: Have a nice day! Ehehe!

Then, the Witch left as Tee said.

Tee: Does she... even realize that's she's up in space...? It's impressive.

Ringo: She's very focused, you might say.

Ess: Are you two done? We gotta follow this trail of drool before it disappears!

Starlow: You're right, Ess. We have to keep moving.

O: Pipipipi-Pipipipi!

And with that, they were moving onward by tracking down the drool so they can hopefully catch Ecolo in time.

After five minutes have passed, we then see is a green-haired humanoid girl with pointed ears and draconic traits such as horns, wings, fanged teeth, and a long tail. She is given reptile-like slit pupils in some artsyles. In most games, she wears a red qipao (a traditional Chinese dress with high-split sides) over thin black pants that expose her ankles. She usually sports long white gloves, though some art opts to give her fingerless gloves instead. And her name is Draco Centauros (or Draco for short), a human/dragon hybrid girl.

Draco Centauros: Rawrrr! Where am I?

Draco Centauros: Nothing about this place looks familiar! And where'd all those weird blocks come from?

Draco Centauros: There's no water... and no food...

Draco Centauros: I bet I'm super adorable as a damsel in distress...! Teehee!

Draco Centauros: RRGH! WHY'S NO ONE HERE TO SEE ME BEING SO ADORABLE!? I HAVE THE WORST LUCK EVER!

Draco Centarous: I HOPE SOMEONE FINDS ME BEFORE I STARVE, SO THEY CAN SEE HOW CUTE I AM!

Next, we see Luigi and O that were still walking as O sees Draco Centauros from a short distance.

Luigi: Oh great, the drool disappear. Now how are we going to find him now.

O: Pipi...?

Luigi: What is it, O.

O then pointed at Draco from a short distance and Luigi said.

Luigi: Huh? I wonder who that girl is.

Luigi: And why does she have wings and a tail?

O: Pipipi Pi!

Luigi: Hmm... You're right O. We might as well ask her to see if she knows where Ecolo is.

Then, Luigi and O walk towards to where Draco Centauros is at. Once they got there, Luigi said.

Luigi: *ahem* Hey miss?

Draco Centauros: Huh...? What's this chubby little thing?

Draco Centauros: And who are you exactly?

Luigi: I'm Luigi. And this yellow round fella is O.

O started to wave at Draco as she said.

Draco Centauros: I wonder if I can eat it...?

Then, they charge up their spell as they were ready to fire their attack at each other saying.

Next, they fire the spell which soon collided each other. Once their spells were collided, O's spell was now pushing Draco Certauros spell back which causes her to take damage each time.

Then, their spells suddenly stop as Draco Certauros health was fully depleted. So therefore, O was victorious while Draco Certauros had lost to O saying.

Draco Certauros: Aw, I lost.

As their battle was over, Draco said.

Draco Centauros: Unfair...! The chubby thing's able to make those blocks disappear!

Draco Centauros: I don't like when looks are deceiving!

Luigi: Way to go, O. 

Draco Centauros: Is he gonna... eat me?

Mario: Luigi, hurry up already!

Said Mario who was far from them as Luigi said.

And with that, Luigi ran off to where Mario and the others are at as Draco said.

Draco Centauros: You know, that Luigi guy isn't a weirdo like the others after all.

After time has passed, we then see is another girl who also has horns, which she hides with her hair. She's also wearing a green and yellow jumper dress, with the sleeves being incredibly oversized and hiding her hands away. And her name Lidelle, a shy female student at the Primp Town magic school.

Lidelle: *sob* Where... am I...?

Lidelle: How'd I get stranded out here...? Wahhh-ahh-ahh-ahh!

Next, Draco Centauros showed up and said.

Draco Centauros: Oh great... What's all the crying about?

Lidelle: Oh...! A girl with horns!

Draco Centauros: You can talk! Hello!

Lidelle: Wow, THAT'S how lonely I am? I hallucinated a girl with horns?

Lidelle: Boy, I'm such a silly-nilly...!
