As usual this story might be short due to lack of ideas and possible writer's block. I apologize if I didn't fulfill the requirement the requester wanted. Thank you and enjoy!! ~Third Person Point of View~

In the basement of the Mario household we see a lone man working on a big project. Mario the former hero of the Mushroom Kingdom became a mechanic after Peach married a prince from a faraway kingdom. With his brother Luigi married to Daisy he became lonely so when he completed his Master's degree in mechanical engineering Mario began working on making a robot. 

~Mario Point of View~

Okay just a few more tweaks and modifications I thought as I'm almost completing creating my own robotic companion. I've decided to make my companion a female and make her like a princess even though she's not real or royalty. Once I placed the finishing touches I then input codes and pulled the lever as my creation began to wake up.

~Third Person Point of View~

The robot started twitching her fingers and open her (Eye Color)ed eyes as she scans her surroundings to see a lone man in front of her. Mario steps a bit close to her "Hello I'm Mario." He spoke as he held out his hand. The female robot stares at the hand in confusion but then slowly raises her hand and grabs it gently. "Hello I'm Mario." She replied. Mario chuckled but then realized something "You need a name." He spoke making her confused "Name?" She replied. "I know Your name will be (Your Name) it suits your appearance." Mario replied. 

~Mario Point of View~ 

Once I named (Your Name) I began teaching her basic stuff like walking, talking, lifting objects, and more. But then I noticed that she kept struggling doing the simplest tasks and calls me Master not my name making me sad. So I put her in 'sleep mode' as I begin to input a free will setting and program her to call me by my name. After some trial and error I managed to completely fix the problem as I turned her on "Hello (Your Name)." I spoke. (Your Name) smiled back "Hello Mario." She replied as I was surprised when she hugged me to which I returned the gesture. 

~Your Name Point of View~ One Year Later

I've been helping Mario with the Spring Cleaning by cleaning the basement. I giggled remembering all of the memories I have with Mario. All the times we had fun playing sports, watching the sunset, doing chores, relaxing, and spending time with each other. But then I would feel sad whenever Mario is gone, happy when he's with me, concerned when he's hurt, and jealous when he talks to a female. [Emotions is part of the free will setting]. What is this feeling? I thought as I searched my memory banks for the answer to come up with a single result. Wait Love? I'm feeling this emotion? Let's see warm cheeks, increase heart rate, stuttering? I thought with wide eyes at the realization. I love him but does he love me? Even though I'm not human? I thought. 

~Mario Point of View~

With a smile on my face I've returned from shopping while carrying a couple of bags. As I entered the house I see a nervous and pacing (Your Name) deep in thought, I put the bags on the table and went to confront her. "(Your Name) are you okay?" I asked. "No Mario I'm not." She replied with sorrow. "What's wrong? Are your systems functioning? Is it malfunctions?" I asked. (Your Name) shook her head "It's none of that Mario I'm just afraid of your response to the question I'm about to tell you." She responded. Mario sat down on the sofa and gestured (Your Name) to sit down to which she obeyed "So what is the question?" Mario said. 

~Third Person Point of View~

"Um.... well.... I like you a lot Mario and not as a friend but more." (Your Name) confessed as the room became silent. "You mean......as a girlfriend?" Mario asked as the female robot responded with a nod. "Y-Yes Mario I-I love you very much." (Your Name) said with a fearful tone. But her fears melt away when a pair of lips kisses hers making her blush "I've waited for this moment (Your Name) for I love you as well." Mario confessed making (Your Name) speechless. "But I'm a robot and you're a human how will this work?" (Your Name) noted to the mechanic. "I'll figure something out but now I want another kiss from you my love." Mario asked as the new couple kissed again.
