Note: This will be a gender neutral one shot so instead of He, Him, His, She,Her, Her's. It's They, They're and Their's. Also this takes place in a alternate universe.

~Favorite Character Point of View~

I sighed again seeing another couple kissing Looks like another one found their soulmate I thought while being depressed. In this world everyone is born with a special birthmark which will glow when their destined soulmate is nearby, and so far my birthmark hasn't glowed. I looked at the birthmark on my arm which is (Favorite Symbol) which hasn't glowed in years. When will I find you or meet you my soulmate? I thought with hope. (Note: If one's soulmate passed away the birthmark will disappear). 

~Your Name Point of View~

I kept staring at my birthmark hoping that it'll glow, it's (Character Emblem) and to me it's very unique. (Note: Character Emblem. Example: Mario's M, Bowser's Face, Peach's Crown, Etc.). My friends will tell me how they met their soulmates and how their relationship grew after they first met making me hopeful. Though I do wonder when I'll meet my soulmate Hopefully I don't embarrass myself in front of them I thought before I went to bed for I have errands to do in the morning.

~Third Person Point of View~

We see (Your Name) busy doing errands in Toad Town very eager to finish all of them. So far they've went to the bank, pick up the dry cleaning, get gas for their car, and now are grocery shopping. But once they've finished buying groceries they noticed their birthmark glow. (Your Name) gasps and quickly searched for their destined soulmate. Meanwhile (Favorite Character) finished eating a quick meal at a cafe and was about to head on home when their birthmark glowed. Could it be? They thought as they also searched.  While (Your Name) searched in the many store in the shopping district (Favorite Character) looked through the crowds. A couple hours later (Favorite Character) gave up and sat on a bench next to a stranger.

~Favorite Character Point of View~

"What's the point?" I muttered hoping no one heard me. "Rough day?" The stranger spoke. "Yeah." I replied. "Same here." They answered back. "I thought I would find my soulmate today... turns out it was a wild goose chase." I spoke sadly. "Same goes for me... guess they don't want to be found..." The stranger spoke as they turned to face me. I turned to face them but my birthmark glowed brightly "What?" I spoke in awe. "Wait you're my destined soulmate?" They responded in surprise as their birthmark also glowed bright. "So what is your name?" I asked. "I'm (Your Name) what is yours?" They questioned. "(Favorite Character) and I think your name is unique." I replied as we held hands and smiled.
