Luigi's POV

As we walked down the street in the morning, we saw Daisy and Peach hop into a taxi and ride off. Daisy must be taking Peach off somewhere.

"So, we will have to drive over to take care of that cat again, Brother mio!" Mario said as we went into the door of our plumbing shop. We sat our lunches in the refrigerator and got our tool belts.

As we drive to the apartment, Mario gets annoyed at the people that don't pay attention at all.

"You know what, brother mio? Technology these days can be a total curse. People don't pay attention anymore!" Mario said as he sat at a red light. 

A few moments later after getting the cat stuck out of the drain, we were heading back to the shop. I was still puzzled, how would a cat get its tail stuck in drain?

I drove to the shop, calmly unlike my brother.

Once we got to the shop, we headed inside. We didn't really have much to do. We would play cards sometimes, sometimes a game of chess.

"Well, any new messages, Mario?" I asked and he looked, nothing was on the answering machine. Sometimes Daisy would be our secretary, but we mostly did all the work like in the old days, before I met Daisy.

I sat down and turned on the radio. Ziggy Stardust was blaring on the classic radio station. That was one of Daisy's favorite songs, she was into Bowie and especially Bon Jovi.

She likes the 80's hair bands the most. That was how we met, she was in a bar singing to Pat Benetar.

She wasn't even drinking, but man she sounded like an angel.

Then another Bowie song came on and that was strange...

I looked and saw that there was Daisy's Bowie CD.

"Daisy was wondering where her CD went... Mario? Did you know it was in there?" I asked Mario and he shrugged.

I took it out and put it its case. I will have to remember to give that back to Daisy tonight.

As the time went by slowly, not a call in a long time... we decided to play Rummy.

"I am going to win finally, Brother mio!" Mario said and I laughed a little.

"In your dreams, Mario..."

A few Rummy games later (which I won all of them)...

The phone rang, finally! We had another plumbing job!

Mario answered the phone and there was a lot of uh huhs and alrights.

"We have a clogged sink and bathtub down the street." Mario said and I nodded and we went.

Once we arrived a frantic woman answered the door.

"Oh! Thank goodness you are here! There is something wrong with my sinks and bathtub." The woman said and we nodded.

"Where are they ma'am?" I said and she let us come in.

"The bathroom sink is not working right, and my kitchen sink started acting up." The woman said and Mario and I looked at each other.

"Which one Mario?" I whispered.

"I'll take the sinks."

"Ok, go ahead."

And we headed off to work and the lady went to do other things.

I was working on the bathtub, which I was fine with, at least I didn't do both sinks unlike what Mario was going to do.

The bath tub was full, so there must be a clog somewhere..

I took my plumbing snake and had it go down the drain.

After a few tugs, the clog came out. Ew!

The water drained and it was done. Mario was working on the kitchen sink so, I decided to help out with working on the other sink here.

I looked at it, nothing seemed wrong with it until I turned on the faucet.

Nothing came out...

That was weird...

"LUIGI!!!" I heard Mario scream which made me turn off the faucet.

I ran into the kitchen and there was Mario soaking wet.

"Sorry, Brother mio! I was trying to help that's all." I said and Mario laughed.

"I was just messing with you, loosen up a little." Mario said and I laughed awkwardly...

"Alright, let me get this sink done, Mario and I can come help if you need it." I said and he nodded.

I returned to the bathroom, finished the sink, which the switch got turned off some how...

Then I went to help Mario.

He was already done, thank goodness.

The lady came back down with money and she thanked us a lot.

"Thank you so much, Mario Brothers!" And she handed me money for the job.

Once we got back to the shop it was already closing time.

"Well, that was as interesting as it was going to get today, huh?" Mario asked and I nodded.

"Yeah, now let's get home." I said, which then I grabbed the CD before I left.
