Sonic and the others found Fire Valley Mario looked around and saw fire flowers everywhere he grabbed some and looked over "You guys wanna try a fire flower to know what it does?" Everyone nodded and Mario handed everyone one

"How does your power ups work?" Sonic asked

"Throw it up and hit it" Mario said

Sonic tossed up the fire flower and jumped and hit it the flower disappeared and Sonic glowed bright a flaming aura surrounded Sonic and he landed he opened his eyes which where yellow his fur a red color

"Woah..." Tails said

"Hehe, It seems that this fire flower did something" Fire Sonic said and Tails got out his tablet and aimed it at Sonic

"The fire flower seemed to give you fire powers, and is the same power level as the chaos emeralds" Tails said "It seems the fire flower is flowing through your blood... Fire Sonic"

"Well then if the fire flower did this I wonder what the other power ups will do" Fire Sonic replied

"Hold out your hand" Mario said

Sonic held out his hand and shot a fire ball "Wow"

"Let me try" Tails said and threw up the fire flower he jumped and hit it Tails glew bright and landed his yellow fur now a flaming orange he opened his eyes which were now red the white tips of his tail and inside of his ears were yellow

"Woah!" Sonic and the others said

"Well hello Sonic"

Sonic looked up and growled "Eggman!"

"Give me the chaos emeralds!"

"No!" Sonic said

"Fine then" Eggman took up his blaster and pointed it at him "I'll force you"

"Tails! Now!" Tails nodded and went up to Sonic the grabbed each other's hand and closed their eyes they glowed bright and flames surrounded them the chaos emeralds glew brightly "CHAOS FUSION!" The emeralds surrounded Sonic and Tails and they glew bright the emeralds entered them and they fused together the cloud disappeared and there they were Sonic and Tails fused together Tails's tails came from Sonic and their eyes where and orange color and their fur was a flaming orangy yellow the ears inside was a fire color "You mess with me you mess with us" They said in a robotic voice

"W-What!? How!?" Eggman said

"The chaos emeralds" Knuckles said

"Sonic and Tails use chaos blast" Shadow said

"CHAOS BLAST!" Sonic and Tails said a flame grew very big and blasted at Eggman shooting him away

Knuckles walked up to the fused Sonic and Tails "Is that really you?"

Sonails nodded and landed on their feet "It's chaos fusion"

"It must have something to do with the fire flower and the chaos emeralds because you guys like different then a regular chaos fusion"

Sonails nodded "I don't know how long it lasts but we can read each other's minds"

"Hu?" Mario said

"When you use chaos fusion you fuse with another person making them one person, Because of that it combines the fused people's DNA and minds allowing them to read their minds" Sonails said "No one knows how long it lasts but it lasts a while"

"Can you guys control your body on your own or together?" Mario asked

"Together" Sonails replied "If we force ourselves to not control the body together we'll explode and if we rush the power of the emeralds to unfuse us we'll also explode" The fire flower then left their body and their fur turned into a green and their eye color became a cyan color

"Wow" Knuckles said

Sonails glew bright and two bright lights separated from them and then went away Sonic and Tails split from each other and the chaos emeralds landed in Sonic's hands Tails landed on his hands and knees

"Tails!" Sonic said and gave the chaos emeralds to Knuckles and he knelt down in front of Tails "Tails buddy are you ok?"

"Y-Yeah I'm fine j-just weak" Tails replied

Sonic picked up Tails "It must have something to do with there being so much power with the chaos emeralds and the fire flower mixed together, You've never had that much power and your younger so your body can't handle it, You need to rest Tails"

"I-I'm fine S-Sonic" Tails said

"No you're not Tails, Rest"

"I-I'm fine, Promise" Tails got out of Sonic's hands and fell

Sonic picked up Tails again "You're not ok Tails you can't stand, or walk, Mario do you have anything to help Tails"

Mario nodded and grabbed a one up mushroom and gave it to Tails "This will help all you need to do is eat it"

Tails ate the mushroom and got a bit stronger "Thanks" Tails said and Mario nodded

Sonic held Tails "So what power up do we look for now?" Sonic said

"The ice flower" Mario said "It only is found in the icy mountains"

"Is there water involved?"

"Yeah, Why?" Mario asked

"I can't swim, And I'm afraid of water" Sonic said

"You know Sonic after all these years you still don't know how to swim" Tails said

"You'd think you'd get over your fear of thunder" Sonic replied

Tails stopped speaking and rubbed the back of his head

Sonic smiled "Me and Tails will stay back"

The others nodded and walked off Sonic sat down and put Tails down beside him Tails smiled and sighed "Hey Sonic?"

"Yes Tails?"

"Do you think the item boxes from our world is here?" Tails asked And Sonic nodded

"By how powerful the black hole was, I'd say yes" Sonic replied

"Hmm..." Tails sees something "Sonic look" Points to what he sees

Sonic gets up and goes to it "What's a bubble shield box doing in a place full of fire?"

Tails shrugged

"I've always wondered how these worked" Sonic said

"I could take a look" Tails replied

"Go ahead"

Tails picked it up and flew up "The things are back at the castle"

Sonic nodded and ran back Tails flew beside him once they got to the castle Sonic ran inside and Tails followed behind "Sonic! Wait up!"
