This chapter is dedicated to @Starjoel. When I read his story "Super Mario 64: Star Mania" I realize that I can make one story about Super Mario too. And so, this story was created. 
Resuming to the Story:

After the assault at Peach's Castle, the Toads that fled from the castle starting arriving at villages and tiny cities warning for possibles attacks and the kidnap of Princess Peach. At the same time, Mario and Luigi were coming to the Castle to see her, what they didn't know was that the princess was no longer there and the city has pretty much destroyed.

On an unknown tiny forest, a pipe appeared and Mario jumped off it.

"Haha! These warp pipes are really good to navigate in the Mushroom Kingdom! Wait... This isn't the Castle... Where are we? I used to be precise using pipes... Luigi, did I turn left instead of right on the third turn?" He asked and turned to the pipe but no one came through it. "Luigi?"

"Bro! Help me!" Wahhh!" Luigi's scream was heard echoing through the red pipe. When Mario heard, he looked back and saw Luigi being thrown from it and he fell on the floor like a corpse.

"Luigi!? Are you alright?" Mario widened, worried, but Luigi didn't have time to say something because a Giant Piranha Plant jumped out of the pipe and shouted at the brothers. Mario got surprised but didn't take long to prepare himself for a battle. "Looks like it's time for a fight!" He adjusted his cap and jumped. "Let's a go!"

"...Let's a go." Luigi said getting up and putting his hat back on.

As soon as the battle started, Mario tried to stomp on the creature but when he stomped the Piranha bite him on the leg, making him trip and doing a considerable amount of damage. 

"Ouch! I forgot those piranhas can't be stomped..." He got up and thought out loud.

"Don't worry, Mario! I will this Fire Flower!" Luigi took a Fire Flower from his pocket and threw a Fire Flower to the air, it exploded in tons of shiny particles giving the power to both plumbers. Mario became Fire Mario, both overalls and hat became white instead of blue and red, respectively, and his shirt became red instead of blue. Like his brother, Luigi became Fire Luigi, his hat and overalls also became white and his shirt became green instead of blue. Luigi then jumped to Mario's head while charging a big green fireball. Mario threw Luigi as high as he could and Luigi threw his fireball at the monster. With that, the monster was launched out of the pipe and exploded in several coins.

After that tiny battle, Mario and Luigi walked a while to figure out where they were and from the shadows, another creature approached. It jumped while shouting fire. Luigi got attacked by surprise and threw to a tree with that attack, losing his fire abilities, while Mario managed to avoid its attack. When he noticed that Luigi hit a tree and was unconscious, he then turns to the creature to realize that was an old enemy faced many times, Peewee Piranha. Peewee laughed and started doing various tiny (in a seismic way) but giant (compared with the size of Mario) earthquakes. Mario tried to avoid those earthquakes but they were so fast and frequent that he stumbled and fell to the ground, also losing his fire powers. He got up and became a bit more serious. After getting up, he also noticed that his hat was no longer on his head but on the floor near him and Peewee ate it, making the red plumber mad.

"My hat! Give it back!" Mario said running to the Piranha Boss.

The plumber jumped to attack in the air with a powerful stomp, however, Peewee grabbed his feet before and threw him to the ground.

"You're... stronger than I tough." The older brother said a bit tired. The monster smiled evilly and laughed a bit.

While Mario was struggling to defeat the beast, Luigi slowly got up regaining conscience.

"Oh, no! Big bro is losing. I should help him. But I'm too scared..." Luigi thought and looked scared to Peewee, shaking but soon washed the thought away and decided to help. After thinking for a couple of seconds, Luigi started looking for some kind of power-up to help him in defeating that strange monster. The problem was that Mario was getting tired of trying to fight that pink and green Piranha plant and the more time he took finding a power-up, the more likely Mario will be defeated. While Luigi was looking for some sort of power-up, Mario still struggled to fight fighting that giant monster. He managed to punch Peewee, making it mad and attack back but luckily, the plumber deviated away safety. Mario saw Luigi looking for something to attack. He did a small smile.

"I'm glad Luigi came to help. I just need to distract this annoying monster a little longer"

Luigi was clawing and focused but couldn't find any block or fire flower so he grabbed a giant rock and prepared to throw it. He did a small signal to Mario.

"Hey, stinky! I'm almost defeated. So why don't you do your best to finish me off?" Mario said confidently, giving time for his brother to attack. Peewee smiled evilly yet again and prepared for a final blow. One that could kill Mario for once. As such, it began to charge a giant jump to crush Mario. It was taking a few seconds to prepare and Mario was still smiling while it did. When it was time to attack, Peewee was about to jump but Luigi appeared.

"This ends... now!" Luigi jumped and threw a rock, smashing it on Peewee Piranha's head and making it dizzy, also making it spit Mario's hat "Mario! Bros attack?"

"Alrighty!" The red plumber said putting his hat on.

The two brothers agreed and prepared. Mario went to the middle of the area where they were fighting while Luigi prepared to jump. He jumped to Mario's shoulders and Mario gave him impulse to jump higher and doing an even stronger stomp on its head. After landing, he used the impulse of the stomp to ground-pound defeating the monster.

"Super Bros!" Both said happily while spinning and doing a V with their hands.

"Great job, Luigi!" Mario greeted.

"Oh, yeah! No problem, bro. Now we should continue before we arrive later." Luigi said without wanting credits. Through their adventures, both have saved and helped each other. United, they were many times stronger but sometimes team power isn't everything.

"Right! We should stop in a nearby village. I need to heal myself before we run into another foe." Mario said and Luigi agreed. "Talking about villages, I think I'm seeing one over there! Come on!"

They both handed to the path that took to the village. On the way there, a Toad came running towards them.

"The village is being attacked! Run for your lives!" The strange Toad said running for the opposite direction.

"What!? Who?!" Luigi asked but the Toad was already reasonably far away from them and didn't hear.

"We need to help them! Come on, Luigi!" Mario said running towards the village recklessly.

"Here we go, again..." Luigi said following him without hesitation.
