Four months after Chat asks Marinette to be his girlfriend, he finds out the truth about Hawkmoth. To say he was shocked would be putting it lightly. He was furious with his father for putting so many people he cared about in danger and for being a criminal. He was the one to make the call to have him taken away.  He was glad to see him go.

          Today, Chat felt nervous about seeing his Marinette because he knew it was the day he plans to tell her the truth.  The day he has in mind to reveal his other self or half to her. He can not keep it a secret any longer.  It would not be right when she means so much to him.

         After all, they have gone through, Marinette struggles on rather too tell Chat Noir her secret.  It has been months since they got together and she knows that with his help Hawkmoth was no more. She admits it still came as a shock to her that she was right all along about his identity. Now, she can only hope Chat is someone she knows since she feels so close to him already.

       Chat Noir lands with a thud outside Marinette's window.  He is glad her balcony is all lit up that is she has a string of lovely white lights on it. He thinks it is rather cute she did not get rid of the decorations she put on it earlier that year. He takes a look around him as he breathes in the nice air.  He thinks this is it the moment I have been waiting for forever.

       "Marinette, I am here," Chat says to announce his arrival.

        "Yes, I can see that Chat," Marinette calls out in response. She laughs since she did see him as he landed beside the patio furniture.

        "Well, do not just stand out there, do come inside, Chat," Marinette states.

           Chat nods his head at the invitation as he enters her place. He blushes when it dawns on him he stands in her bedroom. Suddenly, he feels uncomfortable about being in there.

            "Marinette can we go to a different part of the house?" Chat asks.

           "Yes, sure thing, kitty," Marinette tells him.

               Chat Noir smiles as Marinette grabs his hands, and pulls him towards the stairs. A few minutes later, he finds himself inside the living room area with his princess. He examines the photo of the bookshelf.  Then, sees the one on the wall above the chair she sits in, and blushes.  It is a copy of the photo Sabine took last year when he came over for Christmas dinner.

              Marinette can tell Chat appears to be a bit nervous. She thinks I wonder why since we are a couple. She knows they made it official a few weeks ago, so everyone could know the cat hero in leather was taken by his princess.  This way it would hopefully give the bad guys the message his princess was taken too.  

          "Princess you are wearing the jewelry I gave you and with the shirt from last year," Chat remarks.

        "Yes, well they are all precious to me as they did come from you," Marinette replies.

        "Marinette, I want you to know who I am," Chat blurts out.

            Marinette raises an eyebrow in confusion as she asks, "What do you mean, Chat?  I know you are the hero of Paris, partner to Ladybug, my best friend, my boyfriend, and the one I love. What else is there to know?"

          "Yes, that might be true, but you do not know who I am behind this leather mask," He says.

           "Chat, you can not be serious," Marinette says with a blush across her face.

            "Mari, I am serious as much as I am about you, and I want you to know both sides of me," Chat says with a sigh.

              Marinette nods her head to show she supports him no matter what happens and no matter who he turns out to be behind the mask.  She knows whoever it is she must love him since she loves who is he is as Chat Noir.

             "Here, Mari," Chat says as he hands her a flower.

        Marinette takes the flower and places it into a vase with some water. 

  "Thanks, Chat," Marinette says.     

   "You are welcome," Chat tells her.

        Chat then gives her a few gifts to celebrate their fourth month as a couple.  "Happy fourth months, babe," He says. 

      "Thanks, and here are your gifts," Marinette answers.

          Chat opens all the items Marinette gave him and smiles. He blushes when he opens the box that contains the pajamas with the ladybug and cat noir symbol on them.

          "Did you make these homemade?" He asks.

            "Yes, sure did, my cute kitty," Marinette states.

                Marinette opens her gifts next since he is done opening the ones from her. She is happy to see he has on the watch she gave him, and that he likes the new wallet too.  She puts on the promise ring she found, and gasps when she sees the note at the bottom of the last box.

                "It is a coupon for 50% off hamster supplies, oh wow, thanks so much, Chat!" Marinette squeals.

               "You think that is something just wait until you see the last three things I have in mind for you," Chat says.

           "First is this," Chat remarks as he leans in and kisses her.

            Marinette kisses him then pulls away.  "As much as I love your kisses, what could be more?" She asks.

            Chat Noir smirks, as he calls out,  "Plagg, claws off."  He feels a green light glow around him and slowly destransforms back to his civilian self.

            "So, what you think?" He asks.

           "Ch-Chat?  You are A-Adrien, Adrien Agreste?" She asks rather surprised.

               "Haha, so I am, so it is a good surprise or no?" Adrien asks.

                   "Are you kidding, it is the best one yet," Marinette says with a grin. She kisses him glad that her Chat is also, her Adrien.

                 "Good, cause I also have this," Adrien says as he hands her one last gift box. 

                     Marinette slowly opens it and squeals, "Yes, I love it!"  

                         She hugs him and says,  "I will name her, Ruby because her eyes are red like rubies."

                   Adrien is so glad his princess loves him as not only Chat but as Adrien too. Now it makes it so much easier for him to see her in both forms.  It also makes it nice since he knows there is more to her than meets the eye.

                "You know, I am Ladybug, right?" Marinette asks.

                 "Yes, I have known for about six months, but I did not see you detransform.  My kwami did not say a word either, I figured it out because your voice, hair, etc. is the same as hers, and because anytime you were around Ladybug was not and vice versa.  Although, I must admit that one time when there two ladybugs threw me off, so did the time I saw you as you next to Ladybug and Multimouse," Adrien tells her.

                "I loved you as Ladybug first, then you well the Ladybug you did not seem to love me, so I started to see you as Marinette, and somehow feel for that side of you.  Later, when I figured out on my own the truth which Plagg then confirmed, I was glad I was in love with both sides of you and not some random person,"  Adrien explains further.

               "Ah, yes, well, I feel for you as Adrien, then later as Chat since he was so supportive of me, while Adrien was always saying I was just a friend, a fangirl, or a very good friend.  Over time, I loved Chat so much, I started to slowly see Adrien as a friend, but now that I know my Chat is Adrien, well, I love you as both all over again," Marinette explains.

                Adrien and Marinette laugh at how silly both were over the years. They are glad to be together as Marichat, and now as Adrienette too.  They decide to plan to see each other as Ladynoir and Ladrien some as well. This way they can enjoy each other's company from all four ships of the love square.
