Chat  wakes up from his nap suddenly and sees Marinette stare at him. He blushes and pulls away. He cannot believe he feel asleep.  It must have made her feel awkward to have him so close to her.  He did expect do such a thing.          

           Marinette says, "Chat, are you alright?"

           Chat says huskily, "Yes,but I know that my love for you is one sided." He leans in close unsure if he should kiss her or not.  He kisses her forehead.

           Marinette closes her eyes. She wishes she could tell him, how she feels right now.  She is not just sure if it is the right time to or not.  She feels like he behaves so strangely.

          Chat sees his princess close her eyes. He wonders, what on earth is she doing?  He cannot help,but think does she want me to kiss her?  Should I?

            Chat reaches up and places a hand on her face. He can feel her breath near by and starts to lean in when suddenly she opens her eyes. He blushes, feels full of embarrassment and backs away.

         "Ch-Chat, please do n-not ever l-leave me again!" Marinette pleads with him.

        "M-Marinette, I p-promise!  Only I thought you did not want me." Chat says, sadly.

        "Oh, kitty! I am s-sorry!   I did not mean it.  Honest, I was wr-wrong.  I came to enjoy our little v-visits. " Marinette tells him.

         "Why? Why would you want a silly kitten like me to visit when I am just a cat whose own father wants nothing to do with him?"  Chat ask her.

          Marinette sighs. She looks at him with what is it?  Is it really love he sees there?

         Chat turns away. He cannot let her see the tears that flow. He trembles a bit. He feels like he is always unloved and unworthy of  love. He thinks, what should I do?  He cannot seem to even show he loves this beauty properly?

        Marinette reaches out and hugs him. She does hope her Chatnton will be okay!  Wait, since when has he been thought of in such a way?  She thinks, it must have been ever since the night he came over and was about to tackle the robber who broke in only I beat him to it.  Still, he came back for me!  She blushes at the memory!  

       Chat sobs as she hugs him close.  "M-Marinette, why did I ever think someone like you could ever love a silly cat like m-me?" Chat Noir says.

        Marinette smiles. She answers, "Chat, I do love you!  I have for a while actually!  I just was to afraid to believe it!  I did not want to you think it was out of pity or because my parents had died.  I guess I had to be sure it was real!  Oh, Chanton!  Please, you have to believe me!" 

       Chat looks up and sees her tears. He can tell she is happy, so he reaches up and puts a hand on her cheek again. He leans in close, and replies, "Marinette, you do not how happy it makes me hear you say that you love me!  I  did not think you ever would!"   He hears her sigh.

       Marinette thinks he is so cute!  She blushes as she recalls how much closer they have gotten over the last few months than they have been in years!  Why if she did not know any better they are even closer than she was with Adrien in the past!  She is sure of it as sure as she is for her love for Chat Noir!  Imagine that her in love with her friend, no best friend, and a hero to boot!

      "Oh, Ch-Chat, how could I not?  You were there for me all along!  The day you left with only a letter to explain why was the day I thought I would die!  I was so broken, so hurt!  I knew then as I did before that I love you!  I should have told you sooner!  I am such a bad p-person...I-I..." Marinette says. She tries to say more, but is cut off with a wet pressure against her lips as Chat seals his end of the confession with a kiss.  Then, Marinette feels him try to break it, so she thinks fast and kisses him back.

     Chat thinks, she returns the kiss! She is so good at this!  He cannot help, but feel in awe that his first kiss should be from her!  He does hope their love will withstand time itself if it were possible!  

     Marinette closes her eyes as she really gives into the kiss. She puts a hand on his cheek. The other on his shoulder.  Chat kisses her over and over. He even keeps one hand on her cheek, and lets her hold the other one. Later, he takes the opposite hand and bravely moves it to her waist. He does hope she does not mind. 

      Chat wishes he could remain like this forever with his lips over hers or is it hers on his?  He thinks, who cares?  He just knows the kisses are more passionate than he thought possible!  He breaks the kiss. He says,  "Marinette, I will tell you who I am under the mask soon, I promise!  Just not today!"
  

    Marinette looks at him in question. She thinks, is it really safe for him to reveal who he is outside the cat suit so soon?  She does wonder though if he is someone she has met and if so what he is like?   Does she happen to be friends with his other half as well?   If so, how close is she and uh, his civilian form?

   Chat smirks, "Princess,will you be my girlfriend?"

   Marinette blinks her eyes,but grins big at him!  "Yes, I would not dream of anything else!  I would love to be your girlfriend, Chat Noir!"  

  *Author's Note: Marinette and Chat decide to wait a bit before they announce their dating status!  Why rush to let others know about them?  It was only today they got together anyway.
