"Ayla I give Adrien would never fall for a girl like me." Marinette replied sitting down.

"Girl why this all of a sudden you have been trying for months?" Ayla replied.

"He'll only see's me as a friend and nothing else." Mari said sadly.

"So now what are you going to do." Ayla asked.

"I'll find something to do. Besides I can work on my fashion designs." Marinette replied.

Then the teacher walked into class. "Students you will be doing an assignment with a classmate. You don't get to do the project with Sabrina, Chloe. It will be pulling sticks. We will pull sticks and there are two sticks with the same length. The person with the other one will be your partner." The teacher replied. Then she started walking around the class with a hat that held sticks.

Marinette was paired up with Nino. Ayla was paired up with Chloe. Sabrina was paired up with Ivan. Nathaniel was paired up with Adrien. Kim was paired up with Alex. Max was paired up with Mulyn. Julika was paired up with Rose.

"Now go sit next to your partner for the project." She replied.

So Marinette sat where Adrien sits so she could talk to Nino.

"Hey Mari so what are we gonna do the project on? What's wrong Mari you look down." Nino asked looking at Marinette who had a sad expression.

"Oh yeah well you see I finally gave up on trying to find a way to tell my crush that I like him." Marinette replied.

"So who was your old crush... I know it may be out of the question for sorry... So what should we do for our proje... "Nino was it erupted by Marinette.

"I used to have a huge crush on Adrien. Who I now realize is not going to fall for me... And I think we should do the history of English dukes and earls for our project." Mari said looking Nino in the eyes.

"That is really cool no one else would do a project on it how did you come up with it?" Nino asked.

"Promise not to laugh.", Nino nodded his head," I have been watching an anime called Black Butler."

Nino brust out laughing but then quickly stopped to say something.

"Oh Mari I wasn't laughing at you I was laughing cuz I watch it too." Nino said with a chuckle.

"Oh wow what season are you on?" Mari asked.

"I have finish all the season although season 3 confusing." He said.

"No way I still haven't watched the live action movie. So maybe you could come over tonight and do some on the project and then watch the movie." Mari replied with a cheerful tone.

"Students class has ended so make sure to meet up with your partner. Class dismissed!" She yelled.

"So your place after school?" Nino asked.

"Yeah." Mari replied with a smile.
