"Since when can we come out, other than in your room and the attic?" Tikki asked.

"First, my room is the attic. And second, they aren't here," Marinette replied.

"Sweet! All the cheese is mine!" Plagg exclaimed.
"Anyways, you guys need to stay hidden when they are here. They will kill you guys if any of them see you guys again," Marinette said.

"We understand Marinette," Tikki replied.

"Alright. Can you guys help me clean the house?" Marinette asked the mice.

"Am I going to be able to get cheese?" Plagg asked.

"Yes Plagg," Marinette said.

"Then we will help," TIkki replied. " Do you have any macaroons?"

"You can get some macaroons too Tikki," Marinette told Tikki.

They clean until the house is sparkling.

"Go into my room guys," Marinette said. "The devils will be here soon."

"Okay Marinette," Plagg says as Tikki and Plagg head towards Marinette's room.

"We're home Mari-brat!" Audrey hollers.

"Okay! Dinner's on the table!" Marinette hollers back as she heads to her room.

"Time to work on my dress. Could you guys get my sewing kit?" Marinette asks.

"Sure thing," Tikki and Plagg reply.

"Now I need to grab mom's dress from the crate of clothes she left me."

Marinette hummed her mom's lullaby as she worked on the dress. While she was working on the dress, a certain prince was getting the palace ready for the ball that was to occur in a couple of days.

"Dad, why do we have to throw a ball to find a queen?" Adrien asked.

"Because it is royal protocol to do so. I didn't have a choice when I was your age," Gabriel replied.

"Your majesties," Nino walked in. "We need you to approve the ballroom before we can work on the food."

"We will be down in a minute," Gabriel replied.

"Yes sire," Nino walked away.

"Dad, how did mom die?"

"She died from letumosis. Since we don't have a cure for it, we have to let the victims die peacefully in their deathbeds," Gabriel replied.

"Okay, thanks for telling me. Let's head down to the ballroom," Adrien said as he headed to the ballroom with his father.

"Magnificent! Better than the yearly celebration of our kingdom!" Gabriel exclaimed.

"Thank you sire," Mylene said.
