In the world of Remnant at Beacon academy the day was going fine if you were a normal student. But if you were a member of team MARN then would be the opposite of fine and good as they were sort of bored as they didnt have much to do. Nick was playing a game on his Scroll, Ryan sitting on his bed cleaning his M60 Machine gun, Alex was sitting at one of the desks working on some sort of new device, and Michael was writting something down in his journal, so if was safe to say that the Marines were bored out of their mind. The silence in the room didnt last long though as Ryan finished cleaning his M60 and then set it down beside him and then sighed.

"Bored?" Michael asked the Vietnam veteran. 

"Yeah, lately we have not had a lot to do." Ryan said. "And the grimm hunts that we go on kinda don't do it now." 

"Are you saying they are boring?" Nick asked as he looked up from his scroll.

"No I'm not i am just saying that I wish we had more of a variety of enemies." Ryan said. "Like we can easily kill grimm with no problems and sometimes, it just seems too easy."

"Well, be thankful it is like that Ryan." Michael said. "It is better not to get killed while going on those hunts."

"I know, but I wish we had some different things to do." Ryan said and then looked over to where Alex was sitting. "Hey Alex what are you doing over there?"

"Oh I am just making a new device that can teleport you to other areas." Alex said and they rest of the Marines just looked at the WW2 Veteran like he had just made a bad joke. "And no i am not joking at all."

"Alex where did you get the idea of making something like that considering that you didnt finish high school?" Nick asked.

"I found blue prints to make one inside a trashcan just outside the door of the dorms." Alex answered. "Honestly I didnt think I would find something like it." 

"You found plans to make a teleporter?" Ryan asked. "Inside a trash can?"

"Yep." Alex answered. "In fact I just now finished this one." Alex then picked up the device and turned around so that the other Marines could see what it looked like.

"That is a teleporter?" Michael asked. "I didn't think it would be small like this."

"Yeah it's portable." Alex said. "And that is one of the things I like about."

"Are you sure it's safe, you remember the last time we did an experiment?" Nick asked. "And we got teleported to Japan where we met those Ninjas?"

"Yes I remember that event very well." Alex said. "But this time I have taken precautions to make sure we don't repeat history." 

"I hope you did Alex." Michael said as he looked closer at the device.

"Don't worry nothing can happen." Alex said as his one of his fingers accidnettly hit the red switch on the device and that made activation beep. "What the?!?" 

Alex the dropped the teleporter on the ground and device then formed a small blackhole in the room and started sucking up everything in the room including the 4 Marines.

"ALEX WHAT DID YOU DO?" Nick asked as he held on the end of his bed.

"I DONT KNOW I MIGHT HAVE HIT ONE OF THE SWITCHES!" Alex replied back as held onto the desk he was working on. But while the Marines held on for their lives Michael suddenly lost grip and got sucked into the portal. "Michael!!!"

Then Alex got sucked into the blackhole and then Ryan and finally the leader Nick. Soon the Marines weapons also got sucked into the black hole and then the device closed the blackhole and then device then sparked and burned up. Soon all that was left in the Marines dorm room was books scattered everywhere and all the other school supplies were in a mess with no trace of the Marines being there. 

But what the Marines couldn't predict was the world they would soon find themselves in as it will be a game changer for them. But one thing is for certain, they oppents they will face will fall when they go against eachother.
