Time moves on and I'm now thirteen
We're in the nicest place we've been
Three years here or nearly four
We kids don't want to move no more.
The news when it comes will upset me
We're going back to Germany.
I've had enough, don't want to go
Shifting again's not easy you know.
It's hard to settle down make friends
Why must all our friendships end?
I think of maybe boarding school
But it's an idea mum overrules.
A friend's mum say's she'll take me in
The answers no; but flattering.
So all our stuff goes back in crates
And it's goodbye again to all our mates.
Sorting out, the old heave ho
What can we take? What has to go?
Three more years in Germany
What will this mean for the family?
The worst effect we don't yet know
Where's the story going to go?
The worst of it won't come just yet
