Chapter Two
As the days went on, Marcia only seemed to distance herself from everyone around her, that including her mother who she loved very much.
She just couldn't bring herself to look anyone in the eyes after what had happened. She felt used, dirty, and embarrassed. She felt like a toy to her father, and she could feel that her father didn't love her.
Marcia sighed as she found herself sitting by the window in the living room, her eyes focused on the man standing right outside with his phone in hand.
Her hate for him was strong, and now it was more stronger than ever. But no matter what, she always found herself trying to satisfy him.
"Disgusting pig." She couldn't help but hiss in disgust, she stood up with a look in her eyes that looked murderest. She felt like she was ready to kill him.
She turned around only to bump into a hard chest. Two arms quickly shot out to grab her by the shoulders so that she wouldn't fall, but she quickly pushed them away in fear.
When she saw who it was, her expression changed into one that wouldn't give away any sort of emotion.
She didn't want anyone touching her, much less the man that had hurt her.
He kept his eyes on her. He could tell that she didn't want anything to do with him after what had happened 2 weeks ago.
He could see that she was clearly uncomfortable in his presence. He wished he could of stopped himself from doing what he did.
He kept telling himself that it was to save his parents from Michaels men.
But in all honesty, he wanted to make Marcia his, he wanted to be inside of her. To penetrate her soul and make her completely his. He wished she would of enjoyed that moment as much as he did.
Watching her cry underneath him was something that he loved. He loved watching her as she struggled, but at the same time tried to stop herself from struggling. He knew that Marcia was forcing herself to stay still to satisfy her father.
Liam, wished that Michael would set something up like that again.
He cleared his throat after a minute of complete silence between the two. He cleared his head from any of his thoughts. He knew that he shouldn't be thinking like that, he knows that it's wrong, but no matter how wrong it was, he loved it.
"I'm going to a friends house to try out a few guns that just came in," Liam told her. "I was wondering if you wanted to come, being locked up in this house isn't going to do you any good." He said.
Marcia's eyes gazed up at him from the floor. "And being near you will make it better?" She told him in a cold tone. Liam's throat went dry, he didn't want Marcia to hold what happened against him. But he knew that he deserved it, he knew that he deserved her hate and everything bad from her.
"I just thought that it could distract you. Your father asked me to take you, he wants us to get to know each other." Marcia kept her eyes on him as she slowly hugged herself.
"Okay," she whispered as she looked down.
*
"We're here sir." The car came to a sudden stop. Marcia looked out the window to see a beautiful white mansion with a large fountain of a angel, sitting out front in the green garden.
The red roses out front made the place look so beautiful she thought.
The place was breathtaking, it was bigger than her home. Marcia couldn't help but want to live in a place like this.
"Marcia? Come on he's waiting for us." Marcia nodded her head and opened the door to get out of the car, she followed after Liam as he went on ahead.
The driver stayed outside in the car, Liam and Marcia walked up the steps of the beautiful home.
"Who lives here?" Marcia asked Liam who only smiled, Marcia hadn't tried to speak to him in two weeks. And even though it was just a simple question, he was more than happy to hear her ask him something.
"A friend of mine, you'll like him." They both stopped in front of the two white doors. Liam knocked on the door and they both waited for someone to open from the inside.
The doors were pulled open and they were both met by a teenager who seemed to be around their age. His eyes were a light blue and his black hair looked to be damped in water.
He was wearing sweatpants with a white shirt that perfectly showed his arm muscles. Marcia could see that this guy worked out often by how lean and toned his body looked.
His blue eyes met hers and her heart skipped a beat. His eyes were bright, he seemed like the type of guy to be cheerful all the time.
"Adrian, this is Marcia, Marcia this is Adrian my childhood friend." Adrian tilted his head to the side as he casually looked Marcia, up and down.
"So you're Marcia" He said, his lips holding a smile.
Marcia could feel her body heat up in embarrassment under his eyes. "Yes, now are you going to let us in or what?" Adrian looked at his friend who was getting annoyed and smirked at him. He stepped aside to let them both into his home.
Marcia stood right beside Liam as he stopped in the middle of the entrance way to look around.
"Is your brother not home?" Liam asked. Adrian closed the doors, and that's when Marcia notice two tall men in dark clothing standing on each side of the front doors.
Both the men kept their eyes straight ahead, one of them had a scar on the left side of his face while the other had a fresh purple eye. She wondered what fight he must of gotten himself into to have that purple eye.
"He's in his office." Marcia turned her attention to Adrian when she heard him speak.
"That sucks, I wanted him to train us." Liam said causing Adrian to laugh.
"What's your brothers name?" Liam and Adrian turned their attention to Marcia as she spoke. Liam smiled at her as Adrian answered.
"Christian. You might see him around later if he decides to come out of his cave." Adrian told her in a playful tone.
"Should we get started then?"
*
Liam was holding a gun and aiming right at the target. He took a deep breath to calm himself before pulling the trigger. The bullet landed right in the middle of the head of the target.
Marcia was impressed to see that Liam had such great aim at his age. He hasn't missed a shot since they got here. She wondered if Liam was receiving the same training as her.
"Here," Marcia looked up to see Adrian handling her a water bottle. She thanked him and took it from his hand.
Adrian sat down right beside her on the bench as she twisted the cap of the water bottle open to get a drink.
"How old are you?" Adrian asked her, she looked at him to see that he had his eyes on Liam who kept shooting at the target that was now moving around.
"Sixteen." Marcia answered him. Adrian turned his head to face her, he smiled at her with a sincere smile.
"How old are you?" Marcia asked him after mastering up her courage. She felt her heart beating faster under his gaze. This young man was beautiful in every way possible, and those blue eyes of his just made his looks better.
Marcia had never been around boys her age until Liam came along. It's just a silly crush she thought to herself, she couldn't possibly be in love with the guy sitting right beside her after just knowing him for an hour.
"Seventeen." He answered her. "Do your parents live with you?" Marcia had kept wondering why his parents weren't around. This mansion couldn't just be for him and his brother alone she thought to herself.
"I'm not sure." Adrian got up as the last shot of Liam's gun was fired. He walked on over to where Liam was standing, Marcia saw as they both started talking.
Not sure? She thought. How can he not know where his parents are. Could he be playing with her? Maybe he was lying, maybe his parents were on a trip and it's just him and his brother alone at the moment.
That does kind of make more sense as to why there are so many men around the house. Their parents must of left guards to keep their children protected, Marcia thought.
She remembered seeing two men standing by the entrance door and another two by the back door. She also saw one man standing by a brown door beside the living room. Maybe that was the office of Adrian's brother, she thought to herself.
Marcia was curious to know more about Adrian. Where is he from? Who is he really? She figured that she could just ask Liam about Adrian later but Liam might not want to tell her anything.
Even so, she felt strangely drawn to him. She felt something pulling her towards Adrian. Maybe it was the way he handled himself around her? She thought. Or maybe it was his fun way of being that made her so attracted towards him.
Marcia wasn't sure what it could be. She shook her head to get any other thoughts that she might have of him away from her.
"Marcia?" She looked up as Liam called out to her. Adrian stood beside him with his eyes on the gun in his hand.
She got up and walked towards them."Here, try to shoot the target." Liam told her as he handed her the gun that he had used.
Marcia grab the gun and gripped it. She felt her fingers itching to pull the trigger. "Do you have a bigger gun?" She asked causing Liam and Adrian to both look at her in surprise.
"A bigger gun?" Adrian said, not believing that she'll even be able to handle the one that she has at the moment. Much less a bigger gun.
"Yes, a bigger gun." She repeated. Adrian laughed as Liam nudged him with his elbow to shut him up.
"If you shoot the target with that gun, Adrian will bring out the bigger ones for you to try." Liam said causing Adrian to nod his head in agreement. "Sure" Adrian replied.
Marcia smiled, she wanted to play with a bigger gun, but if she had to shoot the target with the small gun first, she'll do it.
She walked to her spot and got in position before aiming the gun directly at the target.
She pulled the trigger and the bullet landed right on the forehead of the fake human target.
She turned around to see the look on both, Liam and Adrian faces. They were both looking right at her with a look that said "how?"
"Can I use a bigger gun?" She said as a smirk appeared on Adrian's face. She could tell that Adrian had already taken a liking in her.
"I'll get them." Adrian ran inside, leaving Marcia and Liam alone.
"Did Michael teach you?" Marcia looked up from the gun in her hand when she heard Liam speak. She raised an eyebrow at him, "his men did." She simply answered.
Michael had never taken the time to teach her anything. He was the type of man to order his men to teach his daughter how to use a gun and defend herself. But she knew she still had a lot to learn.
"I got them!" They both turned to see Adrian walking back outside with a large black bag around his shoulder.
Once he reached them, he set the bag down and opened it. Marcia was first to stick her hands in the bag, she was in love with all the guns and weapons inside of the bag.
"Wow, how did you get all these?" She looked up from the bag. Adrian brightly smiled down at her. "They're my brothers, he got them shipped in two weeks ago, but he doesn't mind if we use them." Adrian said.
Marcia ended up pulling out a semi auto rifle. She smiled at the beautiful rifle in her hand. She felt herself instantly fall in love with it.
Adrian could tell that she was already in love with the gun by the look in her eyes. Marcia got up from the ground with the gun in hand. She aimed it at the target and pretended to shoot it.
"Try it, and if you like it, you can have it." She turned to Adrian, "what?" She asked not believing him. "You can have the gun, but first you have to try it." He said.
"No, I'll buy it from you." Marcia didn't want to accept a gift from him. She didn't know this guy and she didn't want him to give her a gun for free. She much rather buy the gun from him.
"No, I insist. The gun will just be put with the others anyways." Adrian grabbed a gun from the bag. He went in front of Marcia and started shooting at the target.
Liam was staring at Marcia who had a frown on her face, she was confused. No one had ever given her something. "Take it," Liam told her. "He's right, his brother will just put the guns away without any use." Marcia looked at Liam, she still prefer to buy the gun from Adrian and his brother instead of getting it for free.
But if Liam was alright with it, than she is too.
Marcia stood beside Adrian as he shot the last bullet. He turned to her and smiled. Marcia aimed, "wait, you're holding it wrong." Adrian told her.
Adrian put his hand around hers to show her how to hold the rifle right. As he did that, Marcia felt herself panic. She didn't want anyone touching her or being too close to her.
"Don't touch me!" Adrian quickly let go, he thought he had hurt her or something. When he took a closer look, he notice that Marcia's hands were shaking.
She dropped the rifle and turned to him in panic. The look on her face showed fear. She looked at Liam to see him staring right at her, he wasn't sure of what to do or what to even say. But he knew exactly, why she was reacting like this.
The tears started to gather in her eyes as the memories from that night came flying back.
"Are you alright?" She heard Adrian ask, Marcia shook her head, no. The tears started to spill, she felt so alone. Her body was now marked with Liam's touch and she hated it. She hated every bit of it.
Her feet moved on their own, she started running towards the house. Adrian called out to her, but she wouldn't stop.
She kept running and running until she found herself bumping into someone's back.
"Watch it." Said a deep voice as the person she bumped into, turned around.
