Chapter Six

Marcia slowly pulled the silk sheets off of her naked body. She sat up in bed without waking up the man soundly asleep beside her.

She stood to pick up her gown from the floor. She put it on and made sure to check her reflection in the mirror before walking out of the room.

As she quietly closed the door behind her, her mind went back to the last discussion that she had with Damon. She wished things could have gone in a different direction from how they went. Marcia stood in front of the door without moving. The minutes went by like seconds as her mind continued to wonder.

"Marcia?" Marcia's eyes widen as she heard his voice. She slowly pulled her head up to meet those light blue eyes that she had for so long been wanting to see again. "Is it really you?" The man spoke as he silently walked towards her. Marcia took a step back as he stood in front of her.

"Adrian?" She whispered, not believing her own eyes. Adrian smiled down at her as he nodded his head. "Marcia, it's been years since I last saw you." All Marcia could do in return was smile back.

She had never expected to meet Adrian here. Marcia took a closer look at him to see that he's wearing a fancy black suit that fits him perfectly. His dark hair is messy, as if he had just woken up from a long nap.

Marcia saw as Adrian eyes went towards the door behind her and then towards her. He seemed to have realized something. "What are you doing here?" He asked in a whisper.

Marcia looked down, she wasn't sure of how to answer that question. If she told him the truth, it is possible that Christian would find out of what she's been doing without his knowledge.

"I-I just came by to visit, Valentin." Marcia stuttered out. "But, he's asleep at the moment." She adds.

Adrian stares at her with an emotionless expression on his face. "I see," he says. They fall into silence, until Adrian clears his throat.

"If my brother found out about this, I believe that he'll be more than upset." Marcia's eyes widen as Adrian spoke.

"No, I wasn't doing anything. I just came by to talk to Valentin about busin-" Adrian put his hand up, cutting her off short.

"Don't lie to me, you dress like that just to talk about business?" He says as he looks her up and down. Adrian sighs as he closes his eyes. He pinches the bridge of his nose.

"I won't tell my brother that I saw you here today, but make this be the last time. You're better than this, Marcia." Adrian says with tenderness in his eyes.

Adrian carefully placed the back of his hand against Marcia's cheek. "You don't have to obey your father. Be your own person and stop letting others control you." A small smile appears on Adrian's lips, before pulling his hand back as Marcia moves away.

She watched as Adrian knocked once on the door before entering Valentin's room without waiting for his response. Marcia shook her head and walked away. As she reach the flight of stairs, all of Valentin's men turned their eyes in her direction.

She quickly walked down the steps and exited the penthouse without saying a word. She felt humiliated as each one of his men looked down at her like a common whore. She felt that they were judging her, she felt as if they knew what she had just done in that room with Valentin.

Marcia walked passed Liam as he stood, leaning against the wall. "Marcia?" He called out to her, Marcia didn't stop and continued to walk while ignoring him.

Her eyes were covered in tears as the pain in her heart grew worse. "Marcia?" Liam reached for her arm to stop her from walking away. As he pulled her to face him, he saw the tears in her eyes.

"What's wrong? Marcia?" Liam desperately asked as he tried to make her speak. All Marcia could do was shake her head and tightly close her eyes. "I feel disgusted with myself." She whispers.

Liam doesn't say anything as he takes her into her arms. He knows very well why she feels like that, but after all, she was just following her fathers orders.

"Liam, I don't want this. I can't do this anymore." Marcia whispers. "They all look down at me, they were all judging me." As she speaks, Liam just continues to hug her and tell her that everything will be alright.

He can't do much for her, but he's willing to do whatever she orders him to do.

"Liam, do you love me?" Marcia pulls her head up to look into his eyes. Liam tenderly looks down at her, "I do love you, I love you very much." Marcia puts her arms around Liam's neck.

She carefully pulls him down so that his lips meet hers in a passionate kiss. "Will you always stay by my side?" Marcia whispers.

Liam nods his head as he proceeds to kiss her neck. "Then, will you end it?" Liam freezes, he pulls back to look Marcia in the eye.

"Is that what you want?" He ask her in a whisper. As Marcia nods, Liam looks away from here. He knows what she's asking him to do, but he knows that if word were to get out, it would be the end of him.

"Okay, I'll do it."

The car stops and Marcia gets out, Liam quickly follows after her. As she's about to reach for the front door of the mansion, Liam grabs her by the arm and forces her to turn towards him.

"Can I sleep with you tonight?" He ask, Marcia can clearly see the desperation in his eyes to have her in his arms.

She takes a few seconds to answer but when she does, she smiles and nods. "Yes, i'll meet you in your room." Marcia pulls away from him and goes inside.

She walks pass the staircase and walks straight to her fathers office. She enters his office without knocking as she opens the door, she finds her father sitting behind his desk, looking over some papers. Michael looks up to see his daughter standing in the doorway, wearing a gown.

He smirks at her as he motions for her to take a seat in one of the chairs in front of his desk. Marcia hesitates before doing so. Once she sits, she nervously looks around her father office. Her eyes wonder around the room so that they don't settle on him.

"Valentin told me that he had a great time." Hearing Michael speak like that to her, makes her feel more disgusted about things.

"Why would you tell me that? Wasn't it enough selling me off to him for a good fuck?" Michaels eyes became cold as Marcia speaks to him like that.

She watches as Michael stands up from his chair, his eyes never leaving hers. He slowly walks around his desk and stops to stand behind her.

Marcia feels disgusted as she feels her fathers hands rest on her slim shoulders. "He paid a good amount of money, not only that, but it would benefit me to have a half Russian grandson. Don't you think?" Marcia's body trembled underneath her fathers touch.

"How could you say that? I am your daughter, not one of your whores that you can just sell off whenever you feel like, Michael." Marcia felt her eyes become watery.

As she tried to stand, Michael held her down in place. "Listen to yourself speak back to your dad. Your mother gave me a useless girl instead of a boy. So since she gave me a girl, I will make the most out of it, that means that I will use you by whatever means necessary." Michael lets go of Marcia, she quickly stands and turns to face her father.

"You're disgusting, no wonder mother couldn't stand you. No wonder mother k-" Marcia's cheek was suddenly met with the back of Michaels hand.

He glared at her with hatred as he started to breathe heavily. "Watch your mouth, Marcia. I will not let you speak to me as you please!" He shouted at her. Marcia's lips trembled as tears ran down her cheeks, she suddenly looked down.

"Get out, don't come in here unless I call for you." With that being said, Michael walked back to his chair as Marcia quickly left his office.

As she opened the door, she bumped into someone. She didn't dare herself to look up, she quickly tried to get away but the person that she bumped into grabbed her by the arm to stop her from leaving.

The person forcefully turned her around and took ahold of her face. As Marcia looked up to see who just grabbed her, her eyes widen.

"What happened?" Marcia tried to speak but she had become speechless. No words seemed to be able to come out of her mouth.

"Why are you crying?" The man asked as he wiped a tear away from Marcia's face. "L-let me go Christian." Marcia spoke in barely a whisper.

"Christian!" He kept his eyes on Marcia as he heard Michael happily call out to him from behind.

"I wasn't expecting you today." Michael spoke as he shot a glare at Marcia. She knew that if she said a word about what just happened, it would only lead her to punishment later.

"I came to pick up those documents." Christian let go of Marcia's face, he let his hand take ahold of hers as he turned around to face Michael.

Marcia stood there, not sure of what to do. Christian showed no sign of letting her go just yet, "I have those ready for you." Michael told Christian as he motion for him to enter his office.

Christian took a glance at Marcia, he noticed that she's wearing a gown. A sudden smirk appeared on his lips.

"Actually, I think I'm going to take Marcia out for a bit." Christian pulled her away, without telling Michael another word.

Marcia followed Christian without a fight, she felt too weak to go against him, even if she didn't want to go with him. Christian led Marcia outside to his car, Marcia saw that two of his men were waiting for him. One of them got in the drivers side as the other opened the back door for Christian and Marcia.

Christian let Marcia go in first, she slowly got in the back seat and Christian got in after her.

As the car started to drive away, Christian placed his hand on Marcia's thigh. He leaned close to her, "you look beautiful in that red gown." All Marcia could do was turn away from him.

Christian laughed at her response to him. "We're to wed soon, stop playing hard to get when I already have you." Marcia ignored him, "can you just take me back home?" She spoke.

The car fell into silence, Christian reached and took hold of Marcia's face. He forced her to look at him.

"Do you think in stupid?" His tone of voice suddenly changed and his eyes become cold.

"Do you think that I don't know of the things that you do behind my back?" His voice was getting lower and colder as he continued to speak.

"I know you were at Valentin's place." He said, he tightly gripped Marcia's face in between his hand. Marcia's eyes showed fear, she knows that if he were to find out the truth of what she did, her father would be upset with her.

"You let him touch you? Didn't you?" Marcia could clearly see the anger in his eyes. He wasn't trying to hide it from her.

Suddenly the dark window in the middle of the car went up, blocking the two men in the front from seeing what's going on in the back. Marcia eyes widen as she realized what was just about to happen. Christian angrily smashed his lips against hers.

He roughly pushed her down onto her back, his lips never leaving hers as Marcia struggled against him. Christian roughly grabbed both her hands and pinned them down above her head, against the black leather seat.

"You let him leave his disgusting mark on you, but you don't even let me touch you?" Marcia heard the pain and anger in his voice as he spoke to her.

She tightly closed her eyes as she forced herself to stop struggling. She knew that Christian had a point to be upset with her, she knew that she let Valentin take her so easily, but yet she doesn't even let her fiancé touch her.

"You will regret letting him touch you."
