Title: The Actor

Lines delivered in stentorian voice,

conjuring images of mood and place.

Emotion spills from each word

creating pathos in a rapt audience,

captured by the strong performance.

Through skill the role has reached a stage

where interpretation has become bold,

bringing fame to a theatre,

that presents an actor

who commands attention across

the entire stage on which he strides.

Each performance brings new strides

and dimension to the role on stage.

Reaching depths unseen across

adaptations far less bold.

Here, they see a consummate actor

who commands his place in the theatre.

Consistently delivering the ultimate in theatre,

and making giant strides

as a bona fide actor,

who can match any on the stage.

Proving again, he can deliver bold

any role he comes across.

And it's not just at home , but across

the world, wherever there is theatre.

His confidence remains bold,

across the world which he strides,

enlivening every beckoning stage

he has trod as an actor.

Since his beginning as an actor,

absorbing all advice he came across,

his first love was the stage.

There was nothing like live theatre,

and the power in making strides

acting, fearlessly, brash and bold.

It was in his blood to be a stage actor.

Unafraid to come across strong and bold,

Taking all the theatre offered in giant strides.
