Harumi wore her royal gown as she walked down the aisle. She hadn't worn her dress since she led the Sons of Garmadon's attack that night. The Ninja, technically only Lloyd, kept all her belongings in safekeeping so all the things she brought with the Ninja were all safe.

Her smile was real, not fake. She wasn't too happy about the fact that she was about to be coronated as Empress but her duties weren't like a normal Empress's, so she was satisfied. As she walked down, she saw the citizens of Ninjago City. She was walking towards the Throne Room but since it didn't fit everyone, most of the citizens stood outside the palace.

Once she made it to the front, she saw the Ninja and others that were close to her. The Ninja weren't wearing their gi, which was a bit odd to see, but instead, they were wearing formal attire. The guys wore suits while Nya wore a beautiful blue kimono. It was the same kimono she used before the Oni struck.

She also saw Master Wu, Misako, Skylor, PIXAL, Dareth, some Elemental Masters, and lots of other important citizens. She had to admit that she felt odd for being coronated Empress after all she did. Not all the citizens forgave her yet, but the opposed were outnumbered one to ten so the coronation was going to happen.

Her eyes were fixed on Lloyd. He nodded at her when their eyes met. He gave her a reassuring smile which she gladly returned. She reached the throne and the next Master-at-Arms in-training was going to coronate her.

The Master-at-Arms gave her a scroll and she read it while looking at the crowd.

"I, Princess Harumi of Ninjago, do hereby solemnly promise and swear to always establish the importance of being brave, the importance of being strong, and the importance of being good to each and every one of my subjects."

She glanced at Lloyd and saw his approving stare, which gave her more confidence to finish her coronation speech.

"To govern the people of Ninjago according to their respective laws and customs. And to protect and faithfully serve the people of Ninjago, through the way of the ninja."

She returned the scroll to the Master-at-Arms. He tucked it away and held a golden crown in his hands. "It is my great honor and pleasure to announce you, Empress Harumi, the Jade Ninja. The rightful Empress and protector of Ninjago."

She turned to look at the crowd who had started cheering. She had a joyful smile on her face. She looked at Lloyd and he wasn't as crazy as the other guests. He looked calm, happy, and proud of her.

They had just started dating a few days ago, and when they were old enough, he would probably become her Emperor. His friends were already teasing him about it.

She may be the Empress of Ninjago now, but she was an official ninja too. Before the coronation happened, she was also declared a ninja. Her Empress duties were combined with her ninja duties so her Empress job won't be like a normal Empress'.

Instead of sitting around in the palace and being trapped in the Palace of Secrets for the rest of her life, she'll serve Ninjago as a ninja but she is also the Empress at the same time. But for the first few months, she'll have to do all the duties that an Empress is required to do. Then she'll be free to be a full-time ninja.

Until those few months are up, she'll be staying in the Royal Palace. She'll still keep in touch with the Ninja of course, but she'll be busy these first few months. She'll still keep her ninja skills properly trained so that she won't lose her ninja feel though.

After the crowd died down, Harumi went up to the second floor balcony to have a look at the other citizens who were waiting outside. Gayle Gossip and the rest of NGTV were recording the whole coronation live to the whole Ninjago.

The Ninja joined her up on the second floor, looking out to the citizens of Ninjago as well. As soon as Harumi reached the balcony, she could already hear the cheering. She smiled, knowing that most of Ninjago City has forgiven her.

She waved at them and the Ninja also joined in, a little bit behind her. Harumi looked at Lloyd and gestured for him to come closer to her. He did and she connected their hands together. As if this was a wedding, which it sadly wasn't, they kissed in front of the crowd. It left some stunned, it left some excited, it left some shocked, and it left most cheery.

Lloyd froze at first as he didn't expect her to do this in front of a crowd. They hadn't exactly announced their relationship to the public, but I guess this was one way to do it. All this was going live around Ninjago so there was no doubt that everyone could see them kissing. He eventually melted into it and kissed her back.

"Do you have to stay, Rumi?" Lloyd asked in disappointment.

Harumi sat on her vanity, wiping off her kabuki makeup. She turned to him and saw his gloomy face, "As much as I'd prefer to spend this peaceful time period with you, you know I can't. Duty calls, you know how it is, Lloyd." She smiled tenderly.

He gave a smile back, "I do." He looked up at her, "You'll still visit, right?"

"Of course, I will. Even if I don't, I'll keep in touch with you no matter what." She giggled.

"Good." Lloyd crouched down to her level and gave her cheek a quick peck. He got to the door and stopped to look back at her, "I'll see you later, Rumi?"

"You can count on it. In time, I will come back."

Lloyd started closing the door and he chuckled, "I'll be waiting."

There was only a tiny opening in the door by now. They stared at each other for what felt like an eternity before the door finally closed, separating them. Harumi frowned, knowing that she might not get any chance to even visit, but after these few months are up, she'll be able to spend as much time as she wants with him.

She looked back at the mirror and then to the picture of her and the whole ninja group. Then she turned her attention to the picture of her and Lloyd. She took that picture in her hands and kissed the picture of Lloyd.

"I'll be back as soon as I can. That, I promise."
