There always comes a time in our life when everything feels out of our control. We feel sometimes that if we had done something a certain way then we would have gotten the end results that we wanted.

Well, not everything will go the way that we want every single day no matter how much we wished it had or carefully planned. As Christians there is something that always affects every path that we take whether it be good or bad. That something is God's Will.

God's will for our lives is sometimes not the will that we want for our life. Why we may not want it? Simple: we just can't see the bigger picture that is our life while God on the other hand can see the bigger picture. Remember these three things when thinking about what you want for your life:

✒ You are not God therefore no matter the careful planning you put into each day or for your entire life, the will of God will 'mess' with those careful plans. Why you may wonder. Well simply because He is God and can see into the future and if He sees one of His children heading in the wrong direction, He will use His staff and guide you onto the right track you should take no matter how much it may shatter the careful plans you made. Tip: If you want your plans to be close to perfect include God in your plans.

✒ Romans 8:28. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. This scripture is quite self explanatory. If God has called you to complete something for His kingdom there is no way that your plans could save you from such an unexpected shift (think of Jonah). Once God says Go you have to go whether you want to or not. Of course you may feel unsure but with time and God's involvement you will get the job done. Things may happen in our lives' that make us wonder Why God? Why but we must remember what Romans 8:28 says. If God sees a better path for us to take then He will surely lead us there. Then at the end of the day after you have overcome what was not in your control you'll look back and say it was all God's doing; He knows what He's doing after all He's God.

✒ When God's will enters our lives' it may cause some of us emotional stress and in our head space we may start freaking out wondering what is going. We then pray in earnest to God asking for his help but then all we hear in return are crickets and little birds chirping and we may be wondering hey God did you hear what I just said? Do you remember when you were at school and you received a test paper, the teacher said begin and then the teacher would just sit look at you and be silent. You can't ask for assistance or answers from the teacher during the test. It is the same with God. His will at the moment for you may be to grow your faith or trust in Him just like with Job. God was silent during Job's testing no matter how loud he may have cried out to God. But here's the trick: keep your faith in God and making it multiply even stronger than before and know in your heart that God isn't abandoning you, instead He's being silent while administering the test just to see how much you have learnt while in His presence. Now don't disappoint God by giving up and not at least attempting to do a majority of the questions. Don't give up faith or hope in God because believe me He's there watching you and smiling as you pass each section of His test.

Dear Lord,
let your will be done in our lives as you are the
only one who knows what's going to happen later on down the road,
You are the one who holds tomorrow. So no matter
if the plans we made are going to get messed up and we
feel out of control, please carryout Your will
because you know what is better for us.
