I believe the best example of faith is shown in the story of Job. Job was a man who had faith in God with all his heart, as a matter of fact he never did anything evil in the eyes of God. As a result, he was wealthy. "He had seven sons and three daughters, and he owned 7000 sheep, 3000 camels, 1000 head of cattle, and 500 donkeys. He also had a large number of servants and was the richest man in the East." Job 1:2-3. (Good News Translation). The devil noticed this and also how Job never cursed God, so he asked God if he could touch him. God gave him the go ahead bit warned him not to kill Job which of course, he had to obey.

The devil killed all his children and animals, so basically all Job's wealth was gone however the Devil did not stop there. He also made Job's skin break out into sores making his wealthy skin now poor.

Job's wife seeing all this, told Job he should just curse God and die but Job held on to his faith in God despite the circumstances. Though there were many temptations to just let go of his faith in God, he overcame them. His wife, friends and neighbours told him to just give up on his faith in God as he had just stayed on the side lines and watched Job suffer. As a result of Job's unwavering faith, "The Lord blessed the last part of Job's life even more than he blessed the first. Job owned 14,000 sheep, 6000 camels, 2000 head of cattle and 1000 donkeys." Job 42:12 (Good News Translation).

We as Christians need to remember that through any problems we may be facing that may make us drift away from our faith in God, that Job overcame it all and so can we. Job was an anomaly. He stood out from the crowd through his faith in God. He did not follow his wife or friends advice to just curse God and die; instead he did what may be considered by some as dumb.

Imagine someone you had faith in for almost your entire life and helping you through life's challenges just suddenly stood on the sidelines watching as horrible things happened to you but you still had faith in them that they'll help you out. I am sure you're family and friends may say you are stupid for doing so as your so called lifelong friend has vanished but you still decide to have faith in that friend.

Make sure your faith in God stands out so much from all the regulars or normals that you may be called crazy or stupid or even earn some stares. Remember that in the end, when Judgment Day arrives or even before that, you were not looking for any favours or acceptance in or by man but by God. Your faith in God is what counts. Stand up for Him and tells others about Him not jut verbally but also by your actions and your faith in God can be one of those actions. Sometimes you are the only Jesus people see or experience.
