There was an uncommon calm in the air...

Nothing was stirring...

The leafless limbs of the trees stretched towards the sky like wiry fingers all twisted and gnarled...

Heavy grey clouds lumbered through the sky aimlessly as if they had lost their way...

It was unseasonably warm for this time of year...

The air was so humid that it seemed to be sweating from the warmth...

I heard the first whoose...

The winds began to gust...

The heavy clouds could no longer hold their load...

The wind blew so strongly that the rain seemed to never touch the ground...

The sound that the wind made that day...

It started as a whisper...

Grew to a scream...

Reach a roar!!!

Then died with a whimper...

Then as before...

There was an uncommon calm in air...
