First of all, the double date was James idea to get Remus and Sirius to get together because he's the no.1 wolfstar shipper. When he tells Lily about the idea, she is immediately on board.

It's Sirius' first time at an arcade. He hadn't even really heard of it, bc his parents tried to keep him away from 'such uncivilised, lower-class filth', but he immediately loves it, bc of all the flashy lights

Remus is kinda awkward, bc - while Sirius thinks this is just them going out as friends - he gets that this is supposed to be a date.

James absolutely aces the basketball game

they car-race against each other. That is the point where things start to get really competitive. Lily - the only one of them, who can actually drive safely - stays always a bit behind and lets the boys rip each other apart. She gets second place after a head-to-head with Sirius. Sirius (a very ruthless driver, which is why he never got his license) makes first place, but Remus won't let him have it because Sirius threw his jacket at him and therefore distracted him, causing him to drive down the bridge and lose his place. James gets constantly blocked by Lily and fawns over the betrayal (but he finds it lowkey hot, so he doesn't stay mad at her for long).

Whenever Lily wins something James just shouts 'that's my girlfriend, y'all'.

Also, Remus decides to keep Sirius' jacket for the rest of the evening 'for revenge'. And Sirius won't stop staring at him.

After that, they make everything a competition. In the end, Sirius and Remus are just a few tickets apart and Sirius 'accidentally' messes up his last try to let Remus win.

They end up taking 16 pictures in the photo booth together - four for everyone. Lily and James find excuses to make Wolfstar sit in each other's laps (for symmetry; it just makes more sense; we don't have that much space in here) and neither of them complains.

In the parking lot, Remus gives Sirius his jacket back and Sirius constantly smells it on the way home and eventually falls asleep in it.
