~Kiara~

"I swear on my father's dead body, that Maracoy burns in hell!!!" My father shouted.

He's been Raving like that all morning.

All of us just kept quiet. Mum and Ida helped me Clean up yesterday after the incident.

Now I'm resting my head on Cams chest with his arm around me and Ida next to me.

Mum was sitting holding Novie.

No doubt all of them were boiling because of how those goats treated me yesterday.

I didn't break any bones, I just got internal bleeding and injuries from the trees sharp edges and for being thrown around.

Mum cried for some time yesterday. I felt bad for being the reason she cried.

She might be feared, and is practically a ninja but she cries too. Mostly about the tribalism.

But what can you do?

I somehow detached myself from Cam and walked out of the room.

I walked out of the house to the front lawn.

As I sat on the floor I took out my phone to text too Kayho, Tayho and Kokie.

I noticed I had fifteen missed calls from Kokie.

Phone chat:

Me:Anyone here?

Kokie: Kiara!!! What happened mahn!!! I heard you got arrested by one of Maracoy's junior teams all the way from Tadhrix!!!!

Me:Yup, I did, long story.

Kayho:What dude?!!!!! You got what???!!! What happened?!!!.

Tayho: Holy Christmas goats!!!! What happened?!!!

Me:All cuz of I went to apologize like the law states these zoo idiots somehow get one of Maracoy teams down here to arrest me.

Kayho: What the honest flip!!! That's so stupid.

Tayho: They're drunk.

Kayho:Exactly, too drunk.

Kokie:Did they hurt you Ki?!

Me: Yup, they slammed me against trees, threw me around almost even shot me. They insulted Tamrixans too.

Kokie:What?! Now that's just cruelty, they aren't real heroes.

Kayho:True that Kokie, and she was even the one that was attacked by the zoo keepers.

Tayho: I hope Maracoy catches fire one day.

Me: You and me both.

Kokie: I hope your ok now Kiara?

Me: Yea I am.

Tayho:Man Kiara you're so strong.

Kayho: Honestly though.

Me: Thanks guys.

I switch off my phone and put it back in my pocket.

This life.

I hope it doesnt get any worse.

Suddenly, I heard the front door swing open.

"Kiara!!! Come inside now!!!!" My
Mum screams.

I quickly got up and ran inside.

She slammed the door shut the second I was in.

She locked the door.

I noticed Cam and Ida were locking the windows too.

"Uhm, what's going on?" I ask.

"Its the Tallrixans sweetie, some of the thugs are harrasing people, defacing walls and houses, I just got an alert now. Who knows what they're gonna do to the Hamar residence" she says.

Ugh, these Tallrixan thugs. Sometimes they just waltz into Tamrix at anytime and go around doing horrible things.

And as for us Hamars they might try and kill us for all we know.

Its so bad.

And at a point the local leader sent a complaint to Maracoy, despite most people's protest.

Maracoy didn't even look at us.

In fact they sent a message to us saying that the thugs are only doing this to us because of how we terrorize the Tallrixans all the time and they are actually just vigilante's.

Sometimes I wonder why they don't just come down here and kill us all.

It would have been better.

Anyway, Cam and Ida pulled all the curtains down and turned off the lights.

One of my family members I'm not sure of grabs my hand and drags me away to the inner house.

We all usually huddle together in mum and dads room because their window only shows the small backyard and a big wall.

So I am pulled up there, into the room and the door is slam shut.

I walked over to the middle of the room and sat down on the floor.

Someone was there and I'm pretty sure it was Novie.

I hugged her, and she hugged back.

Soon we were all together, on the floor, not making a single sound.

A few minutes later, we hear the thugs voices, loud and chanting.

We were just waiting for them to do the damage and pass but suddenly we hear.

"The Hamar family! We know you're in there!!!!".

It shocked us alright.

Its like the dude was using a microphone.

"Us Tallrixans have had enough of your nonsense!!! We're tired of living in fear and being terrorized!!!!" He says.

We hear shouts of agreement.

We don't even enter that stupid Tallrix, so what's their deal?!

"Today, Maracoy has finally seen our sufferings and has sentenced your whole family to Life imprisonment, No matter how old your youngest child is!!!!!!" The dude says.

And with that My father snapped.

"Whaaaaaaaat?!!!! Life im-what?!!!! Are these people thinking through they're butt holes?!!! They'll have to kill me first, before they keep us in that wretched Prison!!" My dad yelled.

I knew Novie was scared.

Infact,

We were all scared.

Maracoy has passed the extreme.

In that prison we'd be tortured to
Death for sure.

I could hear my Mother sobbing.

"Hey, hey Mum take it easy" I hear Can say.

I felt him hold her.

"I-i-i c-cant believe this" Ida says.

I could hear Novie sob too.

I rubbed her back.

Tears ran down my cheeks but I made no sound.

This is the how its gonna end now?

I believed one day it would have been better.

But I was wrong.

So wrong.

I shot at the last target.

I hit it in the bulls eye perfectly.

I dropped to the floor.

I've been exercising, practising shooting and doing other stuff related.

I just can't get it out of my head.

Anyway I can't blame myself, you can't really get over the fact that you and your whole family is going to be imprisoned the next day. For life.

I hear footsteps walking my way.

I look up too see my blue monkey guardian friend.

"Here" she simply says as she handed me the coconut with a straw.

"Thanks" I simply say.

I sipped on the drink.

Kokie is really sad right now. It was great of her to let me practice my shooting like this and even make me this great tropical drink.

But what else can she do?

At least I know I have good friends like her, Kayho and Tayho.

Kayho and Tayho are devasted now.

All because of me.

Ugh.

"I'll miss you Kokie" I say breaking the silence.

"Don't say that Kiara, I still have hope" she says.

But from her voice I could tell the hope hadn't reached 3%.

I sigh.

"I'm glad you do" I say.

She didn't say anything else.

After a few minutes I heard something beeping.

"Hold on Kiara, I'll be right back, it looks like some frogs are in trouble" Kokie says.

And with that, she took off.

I just stared into space.

I feel so much pain right now.

Not just because I'm being life imprisoned. Its also the fact that the wickedness on Tamrix will never leave.

I used to have so much hope till today.

Now the Maracoy have sealed my destiny.

Gosh may they bur-

I heard a noise.

Like sounds of twigs breaking.

It sounded like people walking.

I immediately got up to go check it out.

I went through a few bushes and down a walk way until I heard voices.

I hid behind a tree and peeped.

Soon, I see two men in black suits walk out.

They seemed to be arguing about something, but I couldn't really make out what they were saying.

I guess I should leave,because those guys were obviously not Tamrixans and I'm not ready to be accused of imaginary crimes again.

Before the Maracoy imprison me in my after life.

I slowly back away careful not to make too much noise.

But that's when it happened.

I guess I shouldn't have been walking backwards because I tripped on a log of wood and fell on my back.

Making a lot of noise.

Oh no.

I get up, and when I get up I see the men staring at me.

I quickly stood up.

"Please, I do not mean any harm at all" I say.

One of them smirks in a sinister way.

"Hmmm, a tamrixan girl" he says.

"I'll have fun dealing with you" he says again.

They start walking up to me.

"This will teach you not to eaves drop you she beast" the other one says.

That she beast comment fired me up.

So now I'm like oh what the heck, I'm already being life imprisoned.

So lemme just try and take down these two idiots.

One throws a punch at me which I dodged. And the other tries a kick which I caught with my hands, I flipped him.

I then get into this heated combat fight with them both.

I'm getting better at my fighting.

Cam and Dad have been teaching me since I was eight.

The first one had me pinned to a tree,but I gave him a head butt.

While he was in mini pain I used the opportunity to kick him in his destiny area.

He fell down in pain.

The other one charged at me but I quickly carried a stick.

I dodged his punch and whacked him in the head and in the butt.

So both of them were down in pain.

"Wow, those were some of my best men" I hear some one say.

I look up to see some guy in a suit in dark glasses holding an ipad, with two body guards behind him.

In conclusion, I see this rich important looking dude.

Which is obviously not a Tamrixan.

Like I said, I'm being life imprisoned tomorrow so even he can't do anything.

"Hello there young girl" the guy says as he walked up to me.

I have never met a non Tamrixan that is this friendly.

That sounds friendly anyway.

I say nothing, because I don't know what to say.

He stops a few feet in front of me.

He tilted his head and furrowed his brows in examination of my  face I think.

"Your part of that Hamar family in Tamrix aren't you?" He asks.

Its because of my red streaks.

"Yes" I simply say.

"Hmmm" he says smiling.

"What's your name?" He asks.

"Kiara" I say.

"How long have you known how to fight like that" he asks.

"Uhm, eight years" I say.

He smiled.

This is weird, I don't even know why I'm talking to him.

"Can you handle a gun?" He asks.

"Uhm, yes" I say.

He nodded.

"How old are you?" He asks.

"Sixteen" I answer.

"Very good" he says smiling.

I'm like super confused at this point.

"Alright then, grab her!" He says.

Then those two sasquatch body gaurds behind him grab both my arms and lifted me up.

"H-hey! What are you doing?!!!!"
I yell in surprise.

The sunglasses guy walked away while the two body building freaks followed him.

"Let me go!!!! Please!!!" I yell kicking my legs and trying to get free.

"Relax little girl, I'll release you in a jiff" Sunglasses says.

Soon we approach a pretty black limo.

A guy in uniform (obviously the driver) was standing by the door.

He looked surprised when he saw me.

But who wouldn't be.

As sunglasses came to the door, the driver opened the door.

Sunglasses then signalled at this huge dudes with a throw her into the car gesture, which they did.

I practically fly into the car.

As I get up from the limo floor, sunglasses slides inside and the door is closed.

"Are you crazy!!! What's you're deal?!!!!" I ask the guy as I sat down.

He chuckled.

"My deal? What's your deal?" He asks.

Really?

"Uh, my deal is that, I'm being kidnapped by some dude who looks like his in his early thirties!!!" I say waving my hands around.

"Actually I am twenty nine but ok" he says with a smirk.

Grrrr.

"What do you want from me? Maracoy is imprisoning me and my family for life anyway!!!" I say.

"What? Isn't that too harsh?" He asks raising a brow.

Wow, that's coming from a rich non-Tamrixan guy.

"Wow, you think so too?" I ask.

"Of course I do, you don't just go round life imprisoning people" he says.

Man what kind of day am I having?

"Anyway I am here to make your dreams come true" he says with a smile.

Huh?!!!

"What dreams?" I ask folding my arms.

"You'll see" he says.

I sigh.

"Ok sir this is not right, number one I do not know you, neither do you know me" I say.

He nodded, "And so?" He says.

"And so this is madness?!!" I say.

"Alright whatever you say" he says.

What is wrong with this guy?!!!

"Ugh" I say.

He laughed.

I just slumped into my seat, hoping this ride will be over soon.

°°°Time skip°°°

We finally pull over.

I look out the window only to see a beautiful house.

Like almost a mansion.

I don't want to describe it much, it was white with a nice decorated front lawn and a water fountain.

"Wow" I simply say.

"Glad you are wowed" Sunglasses says.

I roll my eyes.

The door is opened for me and I stepped out.

The place is nice.

I think we are in Tallrix.

We should be in Tallrix.

"Come on in" Sunglasses says as he gestured to me.

He walked over to the house with his body guards.

One of them shot me a stink eye.

I just rolled my eyes.

I followed him into the house.

The gaurds at the door opened for him and we all stepped inside.

It was big and pretty, with maids walking around.

"Good afternoon sir" They greeted as he walked past.

Most of them giving me weird looks.

I just folded my arms and walked.

Soon we enter this dinning area.

With arranged plates and cutlery. With maids standing around.

"Please, sit down" he says to me.

A maid walked to a chair and pulled it out for me.

She looked confused.

I just walked over to the chair and sat down.

Sunglasses went and sat opposite me. But it was a long table.

"I can see you like my house?" He asks.

"Uhm yeah its nice" I say.

He smiled. "Well you will like it even more" he says.

He clapped his hands and then a bunch of maids walked in carrying trays of food.

They served me chicken, salad, meat and other stuff.

They even poured me a glass of grape wine.

Mahn and I'm hungry😍

"Woah" I say.

Sunglasses chuckled.

"Dig in" he says.

"Don't mind if I do" I say as I attacked my food. Might as well eat good food before I'm off to prison.

"So, Sunglasses dude, what's this whole kidnapping and good treatment about?" I ask as I munched on a wing.

"Well I guess its time to introduce myself" he says.

"I think that time passed a long time ago" I say.

He smiled.

"I'm Jerry, Jerry Aceson" he says.

That name sounded extra familiar.

I'm confused, so I'm practically giving him, this "I'd like to know more" face.

"I'm the owner, of Maracoy"he says.

I was drinking the wine at that point so I immediately did a spit take.

"The Owner of What?!!!!!" I shout.

He chuckled.

"Mar-ra-Coy" he says.

I am literally in shock right now.

"Bu-bu-" I stammer.

He smiled.

"You see as you know i have three junior teams and three senior teams. The senior teams consists of 20-23 year olds and my junior teams consist of 16-18 year olds. So each of my teams have six members except my junior team one, and I have been looking for a suitable member for them, but today the search is over" he says.

This cannot be happening.

That Junior team is obviously the dudes that arrested me that other day, because I remember they were five.

"I-i can't! Those guys arrested me one day and treated me like dog Dukey!! Plus Maracoy has been so wicked too us!!!" I say.

He nodded his head.

"Kiara, let me remind you that it is not just us, but it is Tamrix versus the whole of Sidanis. You're the only one from Tamrix who has been given a huge opportunity like this, don't you want to use it to save your family, to make a change for your tribe?" He asks.

He's right, I can turn things around for my family, I can fight for Tamrix.

"Alright then, I'll do it, but first, free my family from the prison sentence" I say.

"Done! That's as easy as buying you a book" he says.

My heart relaxed. I can't wait to tell them the good news, but then I realised something.

"Wait, so if your Maracoys owner then why are you so nice to me? And why didn't you know about my family's sentence?" I ask.

"Well Kiara many people won't believe this but I am one of the 10% of people in Sidanis that isn't tribalist, and number two, I have people under me that do most of the jobs, but this imprisonment sentence is stupid and too harsh, so when I get back to Tadhrix I'll be firing a few people" he says.

Wowu!!!

It seems very crazy, but now I'm willing to take this chance to save my tribe.

I'll end this suffering.

And no one will be able to stop me.
