Many moons had passed and Mapleclaw had changed both her name and her kits names to Maple, Blaze, Whisper and Tawny. All cats were full grown and prepared for what Maple had planned ahead, it was time during leaf-bare when cats were mostly too weak to hunt to get revenge on both riverclan and Thunderclan. They five set off into the snow, the blizzard hiding them very well. They soon had passed through the whole of windclan territory and had reached riverclan territory by the time the blizzard had begun to stop, they hid in a bush as a few cats were padding past. Maple instantly noticed Reedpelt looking rather thin and a smaller thinner cat beside him, she knew it was his apprentice but didn't care. As they were nowhere near riverclan camp and it was only the two of them they could easily kill the two, Maple leapt out of the bush landing square on Reedpelts shoulders. He jumped and spun but couldn't dislodge the angry she-cat, he eventually rolled shoving her into the snow. Rebel and the others fought the apprentice and a few warriors who came to help but Reedpelt was all hers, Maple had re opened Reedpelt old wound on his neck causing him to stumble. As he stood shaking as his life was fading he swiped his paw aimlessly across Maples throat, it was almost deep enough to kill her without a medicine cat. Reedpelt collapsed dead in the snow, the five turned and ran away towards Thunderclan. The soon reached it, Rebel and the others distracted the clan while she snuck bleeding badly into the medicine cats den. She saw the sleeping Leafheart and quickly slit her threat causing her to die quickly, she then went into the herb storage and tore up all the herbs then bolted. The five soon reached the barn again, the others had shallow wounds while Maple had a deep one on her neck. Maple collapsed as she bleeding grew too much for her, she looked at her kits tears streaming from her eyes.
"B-be good f-for Rebel o-ok," Maple managed to say between coughs, her three kits were shaking their heads. Rebel touched his muzzle to her cheek, his eyes closed.
"Be safe and be strong Maple, I will take good care of your kits," Rebel promised, Maple gave another massive cough her sides heaving. Her body jerked once more before she move no more, her body lifeless and dull without her spirit to make it whole. Maple looked at her kits and Rebel once more before fading away, She opened her eyes to see she was in starclan oddly enough. She shook her head in disbelief at the sight, cats began to swarm her.
"We know your actions had good intentions so Reedpelt shall not join starclan, even though you killed to get revenge the cats who had caused you pain didn't deserve starclans forgiveness," a beautiful tabby she-cat meowed, Maple nodded awe struck.
"Thank you starclan for forgiving me," Maple meowed, she followed the cats towards a star filled clearing which held all the starclan cats. This is where she belonged now, with her warrior ancestors.
