Alex and I were heading back home from school. Wow, it was an exhausting day.

"Hey Arc, what about Daisy?" My friend Alex asked.

"Nothing much really," I sighed.

Daisy is a brown haired girl. She has blue eyes and is very nice. She has lots of roles at school like head prefect, monitress and a club president. I dont even know how she keeps up with then all!

"Have you made a move yet?" He asked in a teasing manner.

"No, not yet. I'm just waiting for the right time," I told him.

"You've been waiting for the right time for like, forever!" He pointed out.

He started blabbering about other boys trying to get Daisy.

"And she might even accept them!" He finished with a deep breath.

"Uhh Alex," I started, "I'm going to take a walk around the playground," I told him while pointing at the playground.

Alex just shrugged, "K then. Hey..." he thought, "What if I get Daisy and you both get together!" He proposed.

"Not today Alex. I just want some quiet time for myself," I reasoned with him.

"Have it your way," he said and left.

'Some peace and quiet time, finally,' I thought

I sighed and said under my breath, "Why does it have to be you..."

Luckily, there was no one in the park, so I started walking and singing at the same time

I was heading home until I heard someone singin in the park. I decided to head over and see who it was.

'The person must be singing about his or her crush.' I thought while hiding.

I peeked over to see who that person was.

"Oh god," I said under my breath. I felt my cheeks heating up.

It was Arc. I never knew he could sing! Yeahh, I have a slight crush on him (Yeah right).

Oh fine, I have a huge crush on him...

"Oh Daisy, why do you have to make me crazy..." he asked himself

I was blushing like mad! He was singing, about me. And I thought he didn't like me...

I stood up and went to him.

I heard clapping behind me. I turned around to see who it was.

'D-daisy?' I thought

"That was wonderful Arc!" She said in a cheery tone, "I wish I could sing like that" she told me

"Heh, thanks," I said bashfully.

'I got a compliment from Daisy. DAISY!' I thought.

"So, who was the song about?" She questioned me.

"Oh, u-uh, it was a-about," I stuttered. I couldn't just tell her that it was about her!

I looked down and muttered, "you..."

I'm pretty sure she heard it because when I looked up at her, she was a blushing mess.

"That's sweet Arc..." she said, trying to give the best compliment she could.

There was a long silence in between us.

"So uh," Daisy started, "I better get going. See you tomorrow, I guess."

"Yeah. Sure. See you tomorrow..." I mumbled

She was about to leave but I felt a small tug in a gut, like it wanted to tell him to follow Daisy.

'No, she would have hated me after that' I thought.

I mean it's true, she heard me sing about her!

Before I could do anything, my legs took me to Daisy. I had no other choice though. This is my one and only chance to ask her out.

"Daisy!" I shouted out.

She stopped in her tracks and looked back at me with a questioning look.

"Daisy, I've liked you for a while and every time I'm around you, I feel butterflies in my stomach. Whenever I see you, you make me even happier. I know many boys from our school likes you and I'm one of them. All I am trying to say Daisy, will you be my girlfriend?"

I looked up at Daisy. She looked like she was in shock.

"Dai-"

"YES! I would love to be your girlfriend." She replied with excitement in her voice

"Good, because it took me years just to say that," I told her while laughing

She laughed along with me.

"I've also liked you for years, Arc. It's just that I didn't really have the courage to say it out. I thought that you would reject me," Daisy confessed.

"I guess we were on the same boat," I told her.

"Well, I have to go for art class. See you tomorrow Arc!" She said while giving me a peck on the cheek.

I blushed a bit, but it's nothing to worry about, we're official now!

"See you tomorrow Daisy!"

'Best day of my life!' I thought with a smile while walking home.

Once I got home, I saw Alex on my couch

"Hey! What are you doing here?!" I asked him

"You promised to play Minecraft with me this morning. What's got you so happy?" He questioned me

I took in a deep breath.

"Iaskeddaisyifshewantedtobemineandshesaidyesthatswhyimreallyhappytoday."

"What?"

"I asked Daisy if she wanted to be mine and she said yes, that's why I'm really happy today." I said slower so that Alex could understand.

Alex had his eyes popped out from his eye sockets.

"IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!" He cried out while running like a crazy person and started bombarding me with questions.

'This is going to be a long day...'
