Week 2
How was it possible to run out of stone in a cave full of stone? Well, Iskall asked themselves that too when they for the fifth time this week went to gather stone. They had left their good elytra in the starter base, so they use the nether hub as the elytra they wore barely had any durability.
A grin began to form on Iskall’s face when thet reached the start of their “megabase.” They tricked so many people into believing that this’d be their actual megabase, and everyone they thought of that they laughed. It was so damn ugly, how could anyone think they’d actually go with this style this season?
That aside, it was actually a really great place to gather stone for his real base. Nobody really came here anyway, so nobody cared what it looked like. So it was the perfect place to gather resources.
The gathering itself took many hours, but when Iskall came back to the surface they were met with a cold breeze. A really cold breeze. It was snowing so much that Iskall could barely see anything but white. They stumbled around a bit, an unsuccessful attempt to find the nether portal. They fired of some rockets and only came a few metres into the air before the elytra broke and they fell back onto the ground.
Hopelessness filled Iskall when they laid there, having no idea what to do. They weren’t prepared for this at all. They only wore a t-shirt and some jeans which wasn’t suited for this kind of weather at all. It felt like they were going to freeze to death.
“Iskall!” a desperate feminine voice called. “Are you there? Can you hear me?”
“Yes!” Iskall shouted back once they realised it was Stress. “Please help me!”
“Okay, follow my voice!” she screamed. She started to hum, the place her voice was coming for being a steady goal for Iskall to reach. They managed to navigate through the snowstorm, and soon purple particles from the nether portal popped up in their field of view. Something warm embraced them and lead them back into the portal. The warm environment of the nether was a big change for Iskall, and they felt like they were going to get a heatstroke.
“Are you okay? Should I do a check-up on you? Are you cold? Do you need soup?” Stress rambled, worry clear in her voice.
“No no, I’m fine. Just get me back to spawn,” Iskall said repulsively. Stress nodded and the both of them made their way through the nether. Iskall was so grateful of Stress’ help, they couldn’t imagine what would’ve happened if she wasn’t there. She was so caring, so beautiful, so amazing.
And Iskall was in love.
Sorry this was rushed, I just don’t have much motivation to write :(
