The "Bahay na Pula" or Red House is a historic ancestral home in San Ildefonso, Bulacan. Its distinctive red color has earned it its nickname, but it is the tales of the supernatural and the horrors of war that truly make it infamous.

Built in 1929, the house served as the grand mansion of the Ilusorio Family. Its isolated location made it a target during World War II, where it was used as a Japanese military base. During this dark period, the house witnessed atrocities committed by the occupying forces. Filipino guerillas were tortured and executed, while women from nearby villages were forced into sexual slavery. The haunting cries of these victims are said to still echo within the walls of the Red House today.
