"That boy is so cute," Lily sighed dreamily. "I'll gladly bang him."

May looked at her co-worker, trying to open the cash register as she rolled her eyes. "You say that everyday for almost every good-looking guy that you come across."

"I haven't since the past week," Lily declined. "He's become a regular, now, so I don't really need to ogle someone else 'cause he's the best eye candy around."

"He hasn't arrived yet," May pointed out, looking distastefully at the cash register. "Do you know why Sophia quit? I don't think I can handle this register anymore."

"You'll have to get used to it," Lily told her. "Now that Sophia's gone, you'll have to manage the counter."

"Why can't you manage the counter?"

"Because Martha knows that I'm a hopeless case," Lily smirked.

Martha was their 55 year old boss, who seemed to always favour Lily when it came to any matters involving May and her. May knew it was unfair, but she didn't really have a say in it if she wanted to manage paying for her college tuition. The timings of her job suited her schedule, providing her the time required for her studies and clases.

"He's here!" Lily squealed, breaking May out of her thoughts.

She watched as a dark haired boy entered the almost vacant shop, and took a seat on one of the tables by the window.

Pushing her dark hair over her shoulder, May smiled at her. "Since I'm the best co-worker around, I'll allow you to take his order."

Lily huffed, "I know it's only a way to get the extra work off your back, you loser." She shot her a playful wink, and strutted up to the boy, who seemed to be lost in his thoughts as he gazed out of the window.

May sighed, looking down at the cash register. "Time to figure you out," she muttered.
