It was time for the big race. Sonic and Shadow made a bet to each other on what the loser has to do. Wanna know what it is? You'll find out soon! Sonic and Shadow were at the starting line getting ready. Y/N, Manic and everyone else came to cheer them on. Sonia, Sonic and Manic's sister also came.

"You can do it Sonic!" Sonia said. Manic was sitting next to Sonia.

"How you been sis?"

"Pretty good. Heard you had an interesting night."

"Sonic just won't keep his mouth shut would he?"

"Guess not." Manic looked at Y/N, smiled and waved at you. You looked at Manic and waved back. Suddenly Amy shouted,

"You can do it my darling Sonic!" Sonic rolled his eyes and yawned a bit, still feeling a bit tired.

"Are you sure you're stable enough faker?" Shadow asked.

"A little lack of sleep won't stop me from kicking your butt."

Tails came in front of them and held up 2 flags up. "Ready guys?"

They both nodded. Suddenly Sonic started to feel dizzy and his vision became blurry.

"Ready...set...go!" Tails waved his flags down as a black and blue streak ran past him. Or so he thought. He only saw a black streak. Tails looked down and saw that Sonic tripped on the ground, sleeping.

"Sonic! Wake up! Shadow is in the lead!"

"5 more minutes."

"Yo Sonic! Get up!" Knuckles shouted. Manic tried to hold in his laughter but he couldn't help it. He started bursting out laughing. Everyone looked at him while he was laughing. Y/N giggled slightly, liking his laughter. It was kinda cute.

"Sonic my love! Wake up!" Amy said.

"In coming." Rouge had a bucket of water and poured it on Sonic, making him wake up instantly.

"AHH! WATER!" Sonic quickly starting running but Shadow was still in the lead.

"Where did you get a bucket of water?" Knuckles asked.

"Found it." Rouge said with a smirk. A few minutes later, Shadow crossed the finish line while Sonic arrived right after.

"I won faker. You know what that means."

"Oh come on Shadow! It's not fair! I was half asleep."

"We made a deal now I better see you in my house tomorrow morning...earlier."

Everyone went to congrats Shadow and told Sonic that he did his best and did still enjoy the race. Manic and Sonia walked towards Sonic.

"You did amazing Sonic." Sonia said.

"The starting of the race was my favorite." Manic said with a small laugh.

"Oh ha ha. Very funny. Thanks to you, I'm Shadow's cleaning servant all week."

"You made a bet?"

"Yeah. We agreed that if I win, he would have to pretend to be me for a month and get all of Amy's death hugs and if I lost, I have to clean his house for a whole week."

"That's rough bro."

"Welp. I'm going home to take a nap."

"I'm coming with! Bye Sonia. See you later!" Manic said.

"Bye boys." Everyone went home after the race.
